Amazing food, great friendly service! We stop here every time we’re in Burlington for the mock eel! I’m super happy that they added the tasting menus; I was worried going there with just two people that we wouldn’t be able to try a lot of things, but the tasting menus (a meat menu and a vegetarian menu) let us try everything while we were there for our anniversary. Love the atmosphere, and the food and drinks were delicious!

We absolutely love A Single Pebble! The service is always incredible and so is the food! Reservations a must! I love all of the delicious vegan options! Everything is family style with large portions. My favorites are the salt and pepper tofu, the scallion pancakes, the vegan Buddha beef. You can't go wrong with anything you order here!

We decided to check out Chef Leu's House, and I'm so glad we did! The Dancing Volcano Roll was absolutely amazing—it left me totally speechless. I also tried the lunch special with shrimp and broccoli, which was pretty good and came with a nice portion, plus soup and an appetizer. I can’t wait to go back! The atmosphere is really pleasant and cozy. They don’t serve alcohol, but it’s great that you can bring your own!

Have been coming since I was a kid. The food was great and staff always welcoming. The sushi came out amazing! My partner and I will definitely be back.

I thought they accidentally gave me pork instead of beef first time I got food from here. I wanted to give it a second chance today, just to get something that is either only beef fat or pork. Quality is horrible. Everything I got goes to trash.

All the food was not good. Felt sick immediately. Couldn’t finish it. Low quality meat. Bad oil. Just pretty gross overall and I’m not a picky eater

These were the best crab Rangoon I have ever had at any Chinese place. We also ordered beef, broccoli, and some beef and vegetable rice noodles. All of our food needed no additional sauces to eat as it was extremely tasty. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie and will definitely be going back.

Terrible experience! I ordered sesame seed chicken and was served orange chicken instead. There were no sesame seeds on it, and it very clearly tasted like orange chicken, but the staff insisted it was what I ordered. After a lot of back and forth, they refused to give me a refund but grudgingly let me choose something else. I then ordered teriyaki chicken on a stick, and the portion was shockingly small – about half of what I should’ve received. Overall, the food was disappointing, and the service was even worse. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Good place if you’re are craving for some Chinese food along Shelburne Road. It doesn’t look much from the outside but for me, food is good and serving size is good as well. General Tso’s chicken with pork fried rice is my go to (just the right amount of spiciness) and a soda. It cost me just about $12. Parking is limited, no drive thru, limited indoor seating and not much interaction with staff. You can order ahead for pick up.

An old chinese resto which clearly needs upgrading to attract more customers. Food tastes okay, usually this type of resto in asia tastes the best(in asia, the older the place looks the more delicious the food is but this is different) they have combo meals. service is okay, not much joy and entertaining to customers. Clean restrooms. Has one high chair. Accepts credit and debit. Parking is ample outside. Signage says there is a drive thru but there is NONE.

I love Hong's Dumplings so much. She is open in January 2025 from 11am-7pm on Saturdays. I hope she continues to have hours throughout the year. I love the thick, chewy dough and delicious filling. The fried rice, cold sesame noodles, and scallion pancakes are delish too. I hope this recent review helps her get some good winter business!

This spot has earned its many awards for a good reason—it’s an absolute gem for authentic, delicious dumplings. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the handmade dumpling shells are a textural delight, unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. If you’re on the hunt for truly outstanding dumplings, look no further. While the menu is small, it’s thoughtfully curated, and you genuinely can’t go wrong with any choice—every flavor shines in its own way. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, adding to the charm of this cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot. For those who value authenticity and flavor, this is a must-try.

We just walked to an amazing dinner, along with amazing service. We even got to meet (the owner and) creator of the scrumptious duck sauce they make. We couldn't decide on a specific meal, as there were so many good things from which to choose. We decided to get appetizers (creating our own "tapas" style dinner!). What a terrific choice that was. From the egg rolls to the roast pork soup to the fried rice...everything was so good. (The boneless spareribs were good, just would have preferred them a little more tender. Taste was flavorful.) Forgive the photos, as a couple of the dishes looked so good that we ate some before getting a photo! (Guessing from past reviews about "lack of flavor" - maybe they were used to cheap, fast Asian food. 🤷🏼‍♀️)

A very beautiful restaurant with a calming aesthetic. The Staff was friendly and polite. I loved Joyce’s Noodle House when it was open and was told this is comparable. It was! My favorite beef lo mein did not disappoint. And the Gummi Bear cocktail was delicious and so fun. Definitely will return for more!

Easy access caught my eye as I tried Jin's for the 1st time. Impressive presentation as we were served by the new Japanese ownership themselves. The friendly and smart family knew exactly what I was looking for, and then, almost like magic, out from the kitchen came our tasty lunch. I wanted to try the oriental ginger sauce on my chicken, but my friend couldn't eat sauces. We were sharing. 😢

The food is consistently good but upon getting my order delivered half of it was not there. The clerk on the phone was only able to offer me a partial refund and said it was impossible to send the rest of our order. I believe they outsource their deliveries via door dash which only adversely effects the consumer and leads to situations like this which should be otherwise easy to resolve.

If you haven't had the fried dumplings yet -- clear your schedule. For me chinese places are all about the starters. The dumplings, wonton soup and crab rangoons are easily the best in the area outside a couple choice places in Burlington. Where this spot always wins for me is affordability. You basically get twice what you pay for in the long run, and dishes like the general tso's chicken last me about a week in yummy leftovers

The food was really good and it's constantly good. I tend to get the dinner combinations most often, varies on what I want that day. It's takeout only, and pickup outside.

My family and I have been coming here for over a decade and we love Oriental Wok’s food. Whenever I leave Vermont I miss their takeout. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is delicious and the owners are awesome. I’d highly recommend supporting them and their business.

Usually pretty good. Tonight we got the Kung Pao 3 Delights. It’s supposed to have shrimp, beef, and pork. It did, but was mostly celery. If I wanted celery as a main course I would’ve just eaten celery.

Never again… my one and only time going, there was absolutely disgusting. The dishes and the atmosphere is very gross and clearly dirty. My chicken was still raw and not cooked all the way and the rice is cold. My egg roll was burnt and had nothing in it. There was one lady there doing the register and cooking, and she was the only one there. She kept touching her face and was not wearing gloves while cooking my food. I almost walked out! $17 and I had 2 bites. Horrible!

Not bad at all! Chicken fingers were very doughy compared to the chicken in them. But the Beef Teriyaki, pork fried rice and crab Rangoon were all great. Their duck sauce is really good too!

Delicious asian food in Burlington! Moreover, the food was affordable. I ordered the beef with oyster sauce and shrimp egg foo young for $16-ish. The portion was big, u could enjoy the food with ur partner. The beef and the shrimp were also abundant, so yummy. U could dine in since there were plenty tables in the restaurant, even though most people prefered taking out. Beside plenty tables, the resto had various kind of food, so u didn't need to worry finding the one that matched with ur taste. The resto was clean, and the staffs were so kind and friendly. There were restrooms in the resto, but u should ask for the keys. Would love to eat again in this resto if i came back to Burlington. Yeah

I love it here! it feels like you are looking in the wrong end of binoculars! amazing food. i love the atmosphere. sooo low key. i ordered the kung pao chicken combo. WOULD recommend. i also tried the crab rangoon my friend ordered. also very delicious. crispy! another highlight is the straws. like if you order a soda, they give u the cutest straw. wow. no music, peaceful vibe. it was like $10 for the combo and its a lot of food. edit: i heard a rumor that if you walk from the door to the counter in five steps or less.. your food is free!! but! no knocking into other patrons. and no one can help you (carry you, etc)
