This has been our favorite bang-for-our-buck sushi place for years. It does seem like the quality dropped compared to when we last went; sushi falling apart a bit before even picking up, undercooked edamame, seaweed was more overpowering and chewy than usual. I typically love their sushi and have had their other dishes, barbecue pork fried rice being a rare dish around here and one of my favorites.

Wonderful time at Ichiban! Great prices! Wonderful variety of delicious sushi rolls! Had chicken teriyaki, Romance Rolls, Utah Rolls, and Rocky Mountain Rolls. The server, Lily, was fantastic and helpful! Worth the trip!

For a fairly new business, they really deliver! Good variety of sashimi, sushi and other Asian food offerings. The best deal in SLC for all you can eat sushi buffet!

Willyum and I are So. Salt Lake locals and couldn’t believe we hadn’t tried this seafood joint yet! I’ve been dying to try a bib and bucket seafood place my whole life! It did not disappoint. This sounds made up, but I literally overheard one of the customers tell the waiter, “This is the best sea food I’ve ever had. Seriously man.” To which the waiter stood there awkwardly and probably said something I couldn’t hear. Beautiful human experience. Anyway, I haven’t had much sea food to compare it to, but it was good! We each got the $15.99 seafood bucket special. It was a great deal! We both got the bucket flavor which is just all the flavors combined. Willyum got spicy and I got medium. They seemed the same spice level which wasn’t very spicy. The snow crab, shrimp potatoes and corn were all really yummy. It was my first time trying mussels and they alright. A little fishy. We got the mango boba and it was mid or below. The only change I’d like to see is some good music playing! The music was so quiet. I think it would enhance the ambience. Overall the food and service were amazing for the price!

My partner and I selected this restaurant because it was in easy walking distance to our nearby hotel. What a find! We were pleasantly greeted by a gentleman, presumably the owner and seated. We ordered appetizers from the menu consisting of spring rolls, which had fresh, country vegetables and a tasty bowl of hot and sour soup. We barely finished before our main dishes arrived. My partner had a delicious platter of chicken and broccoli. The broccoli was especially yummy as it was hot and still nicely crunchy. I ordered a true veggie dish of tofu in (not too) spicy garlic sauce. The perfectly cooked tofu was accompanied by a myriad of assorted vegetables and a savory sauce that was not too spicy. I imagine, one could request the dish to be spicier but it's hard to take spicy out. I wish I lived in the area because I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

This place did not have to go this hard. So tasty and so cheap. Definitely recommended for the vegan homies 🌱

The pho here was absolutely delicious and so comforting—perfect for when you’re craving something warm and hearty. The spring rolls were just okay, but the fried egg rolls were amazing! They were packed with so much meat and super flavorful. The service was a bit odd, though. It took a while for someone to take our order, but once we ordered, the food came out really fast. After that, we didn’t see our server again, so we ended up paying at the front. Overall, the food was so good that I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really great take out experience, everything was ready for us in 15 minutes! I just had some terrible Vietnamese food the other day, and needed Pho 33 to deliver and boy, did they. The grilled pork was cooked to smokey perfection, and I loved all the fresh veggies along with my vermicelli noodles! Their Eggroll is seriously addicting as well. My girlfriend enjoyed her lemongrass Tofu, she just wished there was more of it. I could drink their fish sauce by the gallon! We will definitely be back!

We came here after shopping at the Chinese market. I got the spicy squid dish. It had a lot of squid! The squid was perfect not excessively chewy. The whole dish overall was large, very flavorful, and delicious. Easily two meals worth of food. My wife got the beef bulgogi with noodles. The beef bulgogi was good, but the noodles were served cold. Honestly, they weren’t very good at all. We took them to-go but ended up throwing them away. Which is unfortunate because it is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. We both enjoyed the appetizers that they serve you before your entree. Some of them were better than others, but it was a lot of fun.

Best bulgogi and short ribs in Utah. It's expensive but huge portions. You get what you pay for. One order of bulgogi and ribs is enough to feed 4 people easy. A must try if you love Korean food.

This is one of my favorite places to get desert in Chinatown. The desserts are amazing, delicious, and remind me of deserts back in Taiwan. The shaved ice is an incredible treat and isn’t overly sugary. My favorite is the mango, but is only available during the summer season. Overall, an amazing pick for a treat or dessert.

Tried out this place on valentine's day. The price of the desert looked a little steep at first but the size and quality of the dessert check out. I got the chocolate deluxe egg waffle which was delicious 😋

What a fun place! I got their spicy broth, and chicken broth. The spicy was so delicious! No complaints about the service, we were sat really quick, and everyone was friendly! My only reason for giving 4 stars, was they didn't have any carrots or onion on the menu to put in the hot pot. Not a big deal, just love having those in the options. I would suggest adding those.

(I’m from Chicago and there have plenty hot pots options. My comment is compared with hot pot restaurants in Chicago) I spent most of the time waiting for my food to come, watch the broth boiling, and have nothing to eat. This is all because the size of each order is small and the slowest serving (or, you might never get it - see below) The broth is very plain and you can clearly see through the broth (see detail comments below); the winter melon is not fresh; the fried buns are too greasy; each order has very few foods and you can finish it in few minutes and wait ten minutes (or longer or never) for the next order; the serving is slow, waited ten minutes with no food served; ordered some foods but never served and then customers have to remind the staff; the fried beef balls taste bad; the fried tofu is delicious; the meat slides are ok but I was not able to eat enough because of the slowest serving… (imagine you can eat 10 but only get 3-4) About the broth: I have never saw a broth like this before. It is too plain. It is like you get some broth from the true hot pot broth and add a bunch of water in it. The worst broth ever! And it has a unpleasant smell - this smell is usually because of the bone (or meat) is not prepared correctly Remember for those who still want to try: 1. if your food is not ready in 5 minutes, make sure to let the waitress/ waiter know!! Otherwise you may wait very long time to get it and possibly never get it. 2. And ordering foods in advanced!! Otherwise you would just watch the broth boiling and no food to cook (for more than 10 mins or never get it until you ask the staff) 3. Avoid the bone and tomato broth. You can do it much better at home.

Okay, so don't let the service fool you. It's not the conventional "I'll take your order and be with you a lot" because this place was packed when we got there. It looked like 2 or three people taking payments, serving and checking in and man did they do a good job for how many people there were. You order your food by scanning a QR code and the kitchen will get your order as soon as you confirm your cart! Everything I tried to ight was amazing. It has become my new favorite noodle spot! Their hand-made noodles were amazing. This place will not disappoint. I will be back, and I will be bringing family and friends 👍👍👍

First time coming here, and I’ll definitely be back! We tried the soup dumplings, braised brisket ramen with hand pulled noodles and the chicken fried noodles! The soup dumplings came out quick and were very flavorful! The braised brisket was fall apart tender, and added a delicious flavor to the noodles! The portion sizes were great for the cost.

I used to come here about 10-12 years ago. Not quite as good as I remember but pretty decent over all. The only down side to our visit was the AC was on full blast so we were cold and our food got cold. The sweet and sour chicken was great.

I stopped by to grab some Chinese food and I saw this place. It looked kind of sketchy and had a couple of homeless people in the parking lot but no big deal. I ordered at the counter from a really nice young lady and sat down. She brought my food to the table so all is good. I ordered pork fried rice and hot and sour soup. I was ready some of the reviews while I was waiting and saw that the older ones had an owner from China, that isn’t the case anymore everyone there is Hispanic so here goes my review of the food. I eat Chinese food more than any other ethnic cuisine so I’ve got some idea of what is food and what isn’t. The hot and sour soup was not awful although it had pieces of chicken in it that is a first for me. It was a bit runny and had too much of a vinegar flavor. The rice had absolutely no flavor at all and there were small pieces of pork among the few vegetables and wilted bean sprouts. There was both on any of the tables to add to the rice, soy, hot sauce, chili sauce. The only thing I saw was an empty bottle of low sodium soy sauce in a lower compartment by the front desk. The place looked clean enough but when I left I had bites on my legs from something that I didn’t have when I arrived. I won’t return to have flavorless rice the bites were extra.

SO GOOD! We got the beef hot pot and it was delicious. A fun experience and the broth was so so so tasty! Staff was very friendly and it was very busy but we got seated right away. Prices were fair, my husband and I split the hot pot and they gave us extra noodles which was nice. It was a great atmosphere and pretty quick service. We got E3 on the menu and it was very tasty and not too spicy. This is a really fun area to visit and there’s a lot of other Asian stores nearby.

Delicious! We got the fungus noodle soup and fish noodle soup. Both were so good. The broth was flavorful and the fish was tender. The bowls are made so you don’t burn yourself and the chopsticks are perfect! Not wood, not heavy. Just right. Come here! Five stars!
