Cafe Anh Hong
My first impression when walking into this restaurant was that it's dirty. But it's not it's just in need of a facelift or remodeling. If you order the dim sum you're going to get authentic Chinese otherwise it's mostly just American Chinese like in most Chinese restaurants in the United States. My family loves the dim sum chickens feet and many of the other dim sum choices too. The American Chinese food that we had was good too.
Probably The most authentic chinese food you will find in SLC. The place might not look very appealing at first glance but the food is delicious and prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend it - especially if you are sick and tired of commercialized / americanized Chinese food.
Zao Asian Cafe
I grabbed a chicken bowl from Zao, and it was so good! All the toppings are fresh and full of flavor—it’s hard to pick a favorite because everything’s awesome. What I love most is that it’s a healthy alternative to fast food, and you still get your food pretty quickly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
Zao’s food is fresh and delicious. The store was clean and well kept. The staff could’ve been friendlier. Overall, it’s a restaurant and the food was excellent
Thai Mango
This is the best green curry I've ever had. The way they prepare the tofu is so good! I've been coming for years and have always enjoyed myself. It is one of my good to comfort foods during the winter.
Ordered Pad See Ew (gluten free). Got the thin rice noodles which are used for Pad Thai, rather than the thick ones. The lady said, the thick ones are not gluten free, but I had thick (gluten free) noodles at many Thai places in the US. They also put peanuts on the dish, which doesn’t belong into Pad See Ew. Tastewise also not the best I ever had. Other than that, very friendly service and tidy ambiance
