粽子the cantonese style sticky rice dumpling is so good. It is huge and has a lot of fillings of a great mixture including egg yolk, chestnut, sausage, peanuts, and pork. The downside is you can’t stop eating the whole one and always ending up being too full😅
Wow 🤯 super amazing Hong Kong Style Barbecue 港式燒味 including roast duck 燒鴨 and cha siu 叉燒. Their pork intestine 肥腸 is also excellent. I ordered a lunch combo I asked for rice and lettuce it’s super authentic. Affordable pricing + wonderful service = simply perfect. p.s. they even have braised egg 滷蛋 😭❤️

I have been wanting to go here for a long time. This is by far the most authentic Asian food I have ordered. Not knowing what to get, I asked another patron what was good. I understand this is an American critiquing authentic Asian food, so take it for what it is worth. I ordered the beef stew noodle, a barbecue pork steam bun, and a coconut custard sponge cake. I tried the steam bun first and was not able to finish because of the taste. The dough was mushy, and the taste of the pork was not very good to me. I moved on to the stew and added the noodles and cabbage to it. The smell was a little off, but I tried it anyway once again, the taste is not at all desirable to me. I did finish the spongecakes though, so I had sponge cake for lunch. I understand there are people that would enjoy this, but I will definitely not be going back.
On a hot summer day, their Taro boba tea is one of my favorite things to have. Their sponge cake (like to have it with tea), noodle soup, beef muscle & green bean dishes are good too.

Ok. I haven’t been to this place since they moved to their current location many years ago. I went to their old location in the 90’s kiddie corner to “Albertsons” on 9000 south Redwood road. Back in the day this was the go to place for Chinese food in the West Jordan/South Jordan area. This is where I first tried and fell in love with the General Chicken! They used to put broccoli in it back in the day, now it’s just chicken deliciousness. It’s the standard that I judge other Chinese General Chicken by. I do miss their old location and how big their dining room was but post-covid, it’s just easier to grab take out and this trip did not disappoint. Dining is available there, but it is fairly small I took photos of the takeout container and it’s stuffed full of food. I spoke with the owner and it’s still the same family serving great food. If I live closer, I’d probably visit once a week. Thanks Wok-King for serving great Chinese food all these years!!!
We also was love coming here for their sweet and sour chicken. Love how it’s in a fluffy dough. We always get their chicken lo mein. Food comes out fast and hot. We prefer this over other Chinese restaurants.
