Fortune Cookie
Take out orders are always wrong, they NEVER include sweet and sour sauce with sweet and sour orders, they send s&s chicken instead of pork, and when I order (delivery or dine in) shrimp with vegetables, I am given shrimp and vegetable tempura, even when I clarify shrimp with vegetables in the sauce. 9 out of 10 times the order is wrong. The food is good but we cannot justify spending this kind of money at a place that doesn't seem to care if your order is right or not and they have NEVER reached out to make it right.
Great little place to grab lunch. Never too busy at lunch but they are always helpful and accommodate your needs. Chinese or sushi... both are good. It's a little run down but still a good stop for a quick lunch. Their lunch deals are hard to beat for food and price. Good selection for their lunch deals. Enjoy!
Panda Express
I just went here for the first time in years and got a Bigger Plate with 3x Grilled Teriyaki Chicken. The chicken was rubbery and didn't taste great, there was a piece of cartilage in it and the chow mein was low on flavor and overcooked to the point of being soft. Also, while eating I bit off the tips of two of the tines of the plastic fork they gave me, which is NOT a common occurrence for me. The entire experience reeked of cheapness. Next time I'll go to Mo Bettah's or Chipotle or something. Speaking of Mo Bettah's, you can get roughly similar amounts of protein and calories at Panda Express -- by getting a "Bigger Plate" -- and Mo Bettah's -- by getting a Regular Plate, where it's $11.50 (pre-tax) at Panda Express and $13.99 at Mo Bettah's, meaning Panda Express costs roughly 82% what Mo Bettah's costs. Is it 82% the quality? If you've eaten at both of these places then you'll likely agree that Panda Express is NOT EVEN CLOSE to 82% the quality of Mo Bettah's. (A third of the quality, maybe?) So, Panda Express, unless you're willing to charge $13.99 / 3 = $4.37 for this food, then you're getting beaten by the industry and should probably stop. You're just filling valuable retail space, at this point.
My mom & I came here to get a very large order, (2 family feasts + more) and all of the staff was extremely accommodating and kind! Fabiana was especially helpful, she showed no distress at our large order, and was happy to help!! She was helpful and was willing to read back our order to us, overall just a wonderful experience!
