Asian Star
We tried two lunch platters. The vegetables in the chicken and snow peas were crisp and tasted very fresh. The egg rolls were also delicious and tasted like they had been made in house. This restaurant is in a nice building with huge windows. Service was friendly and efficient.
Food allergy warning (peanuts), horrible quality, and overpriced. Don't eat here. We used to do takeout from here and it was delicious, but ordered delivery today and without saying a thing, they switched out the cashews for peanuts in the cashew stir-fry. My wife is allergic, so not only a sketchy corner cut, but a health threat. Unexpected peanuts are unacceptable and even without that, the quality has clearly plummeted while the prices skyrocketed.
Rice King Restaurant
Skip this place... Mu Shu pork is seriously made with leftover BBQ pork, chicken chow mein flavorless and the veggies were still raw, the Mongolian beef is mostly onions... there are better Chineese food restaurants close by and cheaper.
Our usual Chinese restaurant was closed unexpectedly tonight so we decided to go to Rice King for takeout. I had never been here, but my family had dined here. We ordered online, which was easy and convenient. We arrived to find a full restaurant and a line of people to pickup takeout. I thought this was a great choice considering the volume of people. Once home and the bag was unpacked I knew already this was not like our usual place. The entree portions were much smaller. The potstickers were pretty good. Flavorful enough. The egg rolls were more like a spring roll. Maybe I’m biased being from the East coast where an egg roll is an egg roll. These tasted just like the ones you buy frozen at Sam’s or Costco. Minimal filling and little flavor. I ordered the General Tso’s, a dish I judge every Chinese restaurant by because it’s my favorite. This was terrible. Aside from being a skimpy portion, it had no flavor aside from a sugar sauce. No spice to it at all. It was a brown sugar sauce and no broccoli. I was highly disappointed. The lemon chicken was good. The lemon sauce was a bit runny though. The cashew chicken was probably the best dish. The ham fried rice was decent. No veggies and a little bit of ham. The pork lo mein was the best dish. Large pieces of pork. The noodles were a little overdone, but not terrible. The person that checked me out was friendly. He was clearly rushing all around with that many people there. I doubt I’d go back to this restaurant.
Teriyaki Grill - Fort Union
Simple but good, tasty food. Beef was very good but chicken was a bit dry. Veggies are ok but the noodles was very plain. Good thing they serve it with Teriyaki to add flavor to the items. For a small bowl of serving though, it was a bit pricy where you could get a large portion or bigger bowl of serving of the same price somewhere else. Staff was nice and the place is clean and well maintained.
The food was just not very good. I usually love teriyaki and it had been a while since I had been to this place. My kid liked it and ended up eating mine. Compared to the many options for this type of food, I would not recommend this place. The redeeming quality is that my kid could eat there with extreme nut allergies.
Red Corner China Diner
This place is great! Just be sure to order off the Chinese menu! We love: • Diced chicken with chili • Twice cooked pork • Eggplant household style • Mapo tofu • Griddle Lotus Root • Sliced potato with jalapeño • Dandan noodles The service is great! Very clean. Delicious if you order Szechuan food instead of the American Chinese dishes.
PSA: this is a Szechuan Chinese restaurant so I highly recommend trying the authentic Szechuan style food on the dinner menu if you like spice/flavor and bored with regular Chinese food. We got the chili chicken 5/5, mapo tofu 4/5, eggplant tofu 4/5. While this might be the closest we’ve gotten to Szechuan flavors here in Utah, the spices were still on the mild side so if you like spice ask for extra spicy. Service was good, cute and relaxed vibes.
Mr.Feng’s Chinese food & Pho(冯记私家菜馆)
If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-try! We ordered the stir-fried pork intestines, stir-fried chicken gizzards, and lamb soup, and all of them were fantastic. The stir-fried dishes were packed with bold, spicy flavors—perfect for anyone who loves Chinese-style spiciness. The lamb soup was rich and comforting, making it a great balance to the spicier dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection, and you can taste the care in every bite. Highly recommend this spot for an authentic and flavorful dining experience!
My daughter and I had a pleasant lunch at Mr. Feng's. We had the Honey Garlic Chicken and the Northern Dumplings. They also have very authentic Chinese cuisine
One Noodle Bar - Sandy
Great place! Lovely atmosphere and quick service! The food is delicious! The gyoza is nice and crispy and comes with a yummy dipping sauce. The ramen is fantastic. A bowl is very filling. I really recommend trying the one that has fried chicken in it. I also add in some minced garlic and it’s amazing.
Pretty good food. Tonkotsu Ramen named Rich Rich, but I think it would be better if the soup is richer. And the egg is a little bit salty. But I like it.
Yi Sushi Bistro
I love places that have discounted sushi, and the quality of the food is not compromised. We are big fans of sushi, and having it taste fresh is difficult to find in Utah. We gave this place a shot and really enjoyed it. The staff were kind, the food was made quickly, and everything tasted so good! The Unagi, Play Boy, and Mt Fuji rolls were DELICIOUS. We highly recommend you to try those 3 when you visit.
To be frank, I felt underdressed as soon as we got there. The place was really nice and some of the friends I was going out with were dressed nice too. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere seemed pretty cozy. We were there on a day where it was snowing, so the contrast was nice. I honestly forgot what we ordered since it was a while ago, but the sushi that I ordered wasn't as good as I expected. I ordered the Tiffany sushi - wouldn't recommend that one if you're more into the spices and flavors that punch. But the sushis that my friends ordered were good. Overall decent place to get your sushi!
Cafe Trang Bistro Midvale
Favorite authentic Vietnamese spot. Fresh seasonal foods with great fresh flavor. Love the young woman who takes my order every time and puts up with me trying to speak her language. I always leave full but never feel heavy after a meal here. It’s an uplifting fare and a quaint spot to share culture.
I recently dined at Cafe Trang Bistro Midvale, and it was a great experience! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. I tried the Vermicelli with Garlic Butter Steak and Egg Rolls, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. My friend tried the Pho, which was also delicious, with a rich broth and fresh ingredients. For dessert, the Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and had an authentic flavor reminiscent of Vietnam. Overall, Cafe Trang Bistro Midvale offers tasty food, great service, and a pleasant ambiance. I’ll definitely be back!
Great India LLC
I've eaten Indian food across the country, this was not good at all. Onion pakora was just a deep fried soggy mess, with uncooked batter inside, see the video (sorry I had to hold phone and fork). I got the chicken dhansa, I ordered it very hot, could of passed as baby food hot, like no heat whatsoever. The samosas were fine, the garlic naan was fine, portion sizes are fine and service was excellent with a smile (I used take out). However I wouldn't go again not would I recommend this place. An unfortunate experience and maybe given previous reviews - I got them on a bad day.
I have ordered take out from Great India a few times, and the food has always been amazing. The butter chicken is delicious and full of flavor, and the Naan selection is fantastic! I am a huge fan of their unique garlic chili Naan if you like a little spice! Today was my first time eating in at Great India and the service was wonderful. We were seated and served quickly, and we were even provided free dessert (the rice pudding) which was unique and delicious! I highly recommend Great India; I've been to a few different Indian restaurants around and this is the best one. We order here whenever we can!
Ganesh Indian Cuisine
Delicious and authentic Indian food. The food here is not very heavy like a lot of other Indian restaurants. And the dosa is amazing. Dinning environment is very chill and relaxing. Great and friendly servicer too.
Ganesh is our Indian Food Staple. The staff is so friendly. Their location is easily accessible, lots of parking, ada compliant and the food is amazing. They do a good job balancing their seasoning, and will make your dishes blazing hot to mild and everything in between to cater to your spice level. If you like Indian food, in my opinion it’s the best in the valley. It is a little pricey, and the amount of meat you get in certain dishes is minimal compared to other Indian restaurants. This caters more to our specific preference though. It’s definitely more of a quality rather than quantity restaurant.
