Pho Thin Vietnamese Noodle Lounge
I wanted to grab a bowl of pho for lunch, today, so I headed over to Pho Thin for the first time, ever, which is, “Temporarily operating in SAOLA Restaurant & Lounge building as a pop-up.” When I arrived at noon, the parking lot was not crowded. There was only one woman working the front of house and one table of four seated on the Saola side of the dining room. The Pho Thin side was empty and I was seated at a two top facing the bar. The entire space is large, clean and modern. The woman working the front of house was very friendly and quickly took my order of pho with beef tendon and extra beef tendon. I didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. Typically, pho tends to be served with almost all of the liquid fat skimmed out of the broth. This broth had quite a bit of it, which I greatly enjoyed, except for the greasy splatters that appeared on my clothes. It was a bib or apron-required kind of pho. The beef tendon was just about perfect. I like it big. I like it chunky. Yum! I enjoyed the pho enough that I plan to return with my wife for another bowl sooner, rather than later. I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu. I’m also looking forward to dining at Saola, which I was told serves Vietnamese and Asian-fusion cuisine. Strangely, I can’t find a listing for it on Google Maps.
After visiting Oktoberfest in Snowbird, we decided to stop here because we loved Vietnamese food. We checked out the reviews and felt it was a good choice. And we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was incredible. It was lunchtime, so it was very quiet but enjoyable I really enjoyed the food I’ve got it’s one of the top Vietnamese places I’ve been to in a long time! I definitely will coming here more times than one! Really chill and incredible place would highly recommend anybody that likes Vietnamese food.
SAOLA Restaurant and Lounge
Perfect anniversary date night spot! Very beautiful location snuggled up against the mountains, easy to find right off the freeway, and lots of parking. They also take reservations online. Our waitress Katia was so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, she suggested some amazing dishes that we had to try. I was so impressed with the phenomenal cocktails-the Lemongrass Mojito and One Night in Bangkok were our favorites. I loved the garnishing and the flavors were just dreamy. The Tamarind glazed salmon was the highlight of the meal. I loved the spicy oil served on the side and the noodles were delicious. The sushi is SO fresh and incredibly tasty. So glad to have found this spot, looking forward to visiting again and bringing the kids as they have some items that they would certainly enjoy, even the picky eaters!
Diverse menu with many options. Plenty of free parking. Service was great! The fresh squeezed limeade and thigh basil mango shrimp are excellent!
