China Platter Restaurant
First time eating here last week. Can right as the lunch menu was ending and it waitress was a like snotty that we wanted the dinner menu for more options. She went and got another waiter to handle us. He was a nice young man. The atmosphere is super cool in there. The good is mediocre. My husband ordered the Singapore noodles I think, and I did the Kung Pao. Super bland food. The wontons were ok and the egg roll was gigantic!
Food is average but the portions are so small. When you order family style it's only going to be enough for one and a half people per plate, as you can see in the picture the main entree is the size of my fork. The atmosphere's amazing but our waitress wasn't the friendliest.
Mandarin
We decided to try this restaurant after hearing a lot of good things about it. It was by no means bad, but it definitely wasn't worth the hype. The food was good, but perhaps a little overpriced. The staff were friendly and the service was great. It was a good experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way or wait hours to eat there again. While the dining experience was pretty positive, I have a big issue with their reservation system. When you make a reservation they require you to give them your credit card number and if you cancel they charge you $15 a person! I have never had to give my credit card to another restaurant just to make a reservation.
I celebrated my birthday tonight with a large group. We were seated promptly. Our food was delicious and was served in a timely manner. The service was fantastic. It was overall a pleasant evening.
China Star
It was very quiet here at 9:30 on a Saturday night, only one other table was occupied. Nice decor, clean bathroom, good service. I ordered the walnut shrimp and it was absolutely amazing--I highly recommend it.
Ordered for pick up. Chicken fried rice and the beef curry. Hardley any meat in both dishes, I mostly paid for rice and vegetables. Also, why am I being asked to tip twice? Once on their website and another when paying at the restaurant. If I'm ording myself and picking up the food myself why would I tip? The food I got was passable, nothing special.
Panda Express
This panda is probably one of the worst. The food does not taste very fresh and the staff is definitely not friendly! When I ask for half rice and half chow mein there's no reason to give me attitude is there? If you don't like your job I'm sure McDonald's is hiring you can always flip hamburgers in the back. . But the. MOST discussing part is I keep watching the staff obsessively wipe around the food in the warmers with a dirty rag constantly.... They're even lifting up the glass and wiping the underneath side of the glass and I can literally see food and particles drop into the food below from dirty rag above. This is absolutely disgusting and I'm watching this after I ordered my food. 🤮
I went to Panda Express and I didn’t open it until I got home and when I did open it I found a BITTEN piece of bread in my chow mein I don’t recall bread being in chow mein so not go to this Panda Express this is not acceptable.
