Went to lunch on a Wednesday and was seated right away. The restaurant was almost at full capacity, but we were attended to rather quickly. All the iced tea is unsweetened so you'll have to put your own sugar, this is not a problem for me personally since I prefer unsweetened tea. I ordered sesame chicken and won ton soup. The soup was relaxing and wasn't too salty it tasted home made, all the food tasted home made. The rice wasn't oily or over cooked it tasted healthy. The sesame chicken wasn't too sweet and had a good flavor to it. The egg roll was amazing to me, had the perfect crunch and filled with vegetables, not too oily either. Overall the lunch experience was great and it has my co-workers wanting to go back as soon as possible. I'm looking forward to trying the beef and broccoli and will post more pics when I'm able.

I’m so happy to see Peng’s back open and running strong, with the same wonderful family behind it from their previous location off Bandera. The food truly brings back so many childhood memories, with those familiar flavors that are just as delicious as I remember! The menu has a fantastic selection of lunch and dinner specials, all at great prices. If you haven't tried the spring rolls here yet, you're missing out! They're unlike anything else I've ever had! Crispy, flavorful, and unique in a way that no other place seems to replicate. Highly recommend checking it out!

I've been coming here for years and will keep coming. The food is always full of flavor and the bowls are huge. The service is impeccable every time. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

Best tasting dishes in this hidden gem of a restaurant. They have great customer service. Their prices are also very pleasing. We live far from this restaurant but it is truly worth the drive!!

The food at this restaurant is very unrecommended. We heard from our friends that this place is good so we came to this restaurant with high expectations. Drove almost half an hour to get here. I have to say the service is very good. But the food is really not recommended. The chicken was fishy like leftovers. The fish was just ok but not very fresh fish either. The cumin lamb was average. The garlic baby bok choy was great. I like this one. The waiter was very nice and caring. At first we were allowed to sit at a small table but because we ordered a little too much we were allowed to switch to a larger table. My friend and I were hungry so we had no choice but to keep eating we didn't want to waste it. Their food is as bad as pre-made dishes. All in all, the service is good but the food is not recommended.

1. No window shades so every time a car pulls in, ya sitting like a deer in blinding lights. #annoying 2. I ordered vegetable fried rice with tofu… take a look at the photo-not a single vegetable in the dish other than a few tiny pieces of chive…. It was also very bland. I had to keep asking for duck sauce. 3. The Chinese broccoli dish was overly cooked with garlic and the huge chunks of vegetable were unappealing. 4. My mom asked for more water and didn’t realize the waitress had placed the pitcher on our table- the waitress pointed to it and basically said serve yourself. It’s not a pleasant experience when you have to ask for more water, napkins, duck sauce, etc and the place isn’t busy. I wound up giving all my leftovers to a homeless guy outside the restaurant who needed it more than I did. I hope he enjoyed the food, and I wished him a Merry Christmas.

Hadn't been in years nothing beats this beautiful atmosphere. Still a great place visually. Had the sweet n sour shrimp sp good big shrimp, grate portions. Orange Chicken cooked to perfection. Definitely a must!

My wife and I stopped for lunch in between appointments. The hostess messed up my name which is hard to do since I spelled it twice for her.🙄 so when they called Eric we thought it was someone else. After seeing several people get seated that had come in after us I asked what was going on. The hostess acted like it was my fault. So no stars on the front end service. But our waitress was fabulous 5 stars and above. Since the ordeal getting seated had run us late and we had another appointment to get to we ordered the lunch specials. The eggdrop soup was middle of the road at best and the crispy noodles we ordered were dripping with grease, yuk! Worst iI have ever recieved at a restaurant!! The egg rolls and rice were good but nothing exceptional. My wife said her lemon chicken was really good though. My sweet and sour pork wasn't the worst but far from the best. The large chunks of pork were not tender and had to be cut into two or three pieces each. The sweet and sour sauce was some of the worst I have had, all sauce with almost no veggies/fruit. So while the food didn't kill us it didn't impress us either. This restaurant use to be exceptional when we would come into San Antonio, many years ago, but now it's just average at best. I know we won't be returning. Like i said the waitress was the only redeeming part of our meal.

It’s a great restaurant, food is delicious and the flavor is unique. Rodrigo’s service is excellent! Looking forward to visit again.

Went for a pre birthday dinner, food was good and decently priced. The music was lit, the workers and everyone else was nice. service was a bit slow but overall a fun experience!

Upon reading other people's reviews and Facebook posts about this place, I finally decided to try it. most people say the customer service is probably some of the friendliest they've ever received, and I have to admit the gentleman behind the counter was professional. I honestly wish I could say the same about the food. I ordered chicken lo mein. It is one of the easiest dishes to make. The texture of the noodles taste like they have been sitting around for days. It was very mushy and tasted bad. The chicken was very sparse in the meal. I don't waste food. I will generally eat my food even if it's not to my expectations. But I literally only ate a quarter of my plate. My friend, I was sharing it with them, they took one bite and was done. I had to drown it with soy sauce just to give it any flavor whatsoever. Fortunately for me, I was still in the complex where the restaurant is located. I brought the food back, and the gentleman did look extremely genuine and upset that my food was not to my liking. Offered my money back or to make my food again. I refused my money based solely on the fact that it was a Saturday night it was an hour before closing, and it was actually quite busy in there. I did not have my food remade because it looked like they were short-staffed and just extremely busy. I will try the place again and when I do I'll give an update and hopefully change my ratings because I do like that people have given this High marks and the courtesy and professionalism I received from the gentleman deserves a second chance.

I gave this place a chance, and it was my last time ordering. I ordered the chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and cheese rangoon. The rice has no flavor other than the old chicken they used (it has that old taste). The egg rolls are just soggy spring rolls, and the rangoons are old AF. I’d rather get Panda Express than this, and I loathe Panda Express.
