Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
First time to this location. Been to other Pei Wei locations many times. We were promptly greeted when walked in. Our order was taken by a friendly person. The food was brought to our table by a friendly person. I ordered a sweet and sour soup. And a spicy crispy beef and white rice. It was all delicious. Loved it all. The staff were great here !! Really made a difference.
Stopped by for lunch in between appointments and asked for extra spicy and it was delicious! Huge portion size and very fresh! Definitely will be back! :)
Pacific Moon
It's a Pan-Asian restaurant. The teriyaki chicken bowl was delicious and the potion size was big! It had an egg on top (I opted for scrambled ), so it was a new flavor combination for me, but it tasted great together. It has a nice calm vibe for dining in and the service was great! I think I'll try the sesame chicken on a future visit.
Items of note: Small extra charge for credit card. Friendly staff Delicious food Well stocked bar Had a wonderful time at Pacific Moon. Staff were super-friendly and attentive. The Raman bowl, I forgot the actual name, was really good and well seasoned. The portion is huge, with lots of noodles and vegetables. They will split it into two bowls (my picture shows split portion, vegetable) for a small charge. Oddly enough, this is a place I've seen often but never went in. I'm glad I did this time. A hidden gem. Went inside and it seemed to be quite popular. I found it amusing how they knew some of the customers names, whom I assume are regulars. Prices for the food range from around $10 to $30, and the drinks were reasonably priced. May be our go-to place for an occasional evening drink.
Sizzling wok Restaurant
Kinda Pricey. Food Portions not very generous. Lunch Prices are a lot more Reasonable. But as far as taste of the food, they are good and their food is always Hot & FreshšI will definitely come back again.
We absolutely love Sizzling Wok. We've frequented this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. Now that we have kids meals are a little slower but it's always a good time. This place has more meaning for us because it was a comfort food for us when we were going through tough times. It's continued to be good healthy wholesome and comforting every time. We've never had anything bad on the menu and taro smoothie is my go to. Service has always been great and the food is ready in decent time. We'll definitely continue to dine here and I always recommend when anyone I know ask for food in the area.
DASHI Chinese Kitchen + Bar
We showed up 15 minutes early for our 12 o'clock reservation on Christmas Day and were greeted and sat promptly! We were sat at a small table in the back corner near the stage which was fine with us. Minute or so later our waiter came over and explained the menu to us and took our drink orders. He quickly came back and we placed our appetizer orders. Short few minutes later our orders started to arrive. First we got the bougie egg drop soup. It was warm and pretty hardy but no flavor at all... so I had to ask for salt n pepper and that definitely helped. Next we got the soup dumplings and they were amazing! Next was the Chengdu wontons in the bangin garlic sauce and they were bangin!! We then received the duck and smashed Cucumbers. The duck was tender and juicy and my wife really enjoyed it, the Cucumbers were unique to say the least... very sour like made with vinegar and there was tofu skin that was strange to me but I still ate them all! Once I was able to get my waiters attention again we ordered cold garlic noodles and sal and pepper fish and another tea. He took my cup and never returned, we did get the rest of the food from someone else and the noodles were great and the fish was amazing! Maybe we were too hidden away in the corner but service was not the greatest... we had a good time, the food was good, and it was reasonably priced but I would not travel back the 40 minutes it took us to get there.
I absolutely enjoyed our meal. Plates were coming so fast that I didn't even get to take pics of everything. My favorite things were the spicy eggplant and the pork belly. A big surprise was how delicious the boy choy side dish was. They looked plain, but the flavor kissed my taste buds like it was my husband. The fried rice was really good too, they add a lot of veggies to it. Their alcoholic drink menu did not disappoint! I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Szechuan style Chinese food. Oh, and the portions are huge and made for sharing, family style.
New Wu's Kitchen
I've been coming here for years, and they have consistently the best food. This is what you want when you're thinking about Chinese food. I've seen the same people working at this location for years, and they have never sold me something I wasn't satisfied with. I drive an hour round-trip for this craving. Lg Orange chicken dinner special with pork fried rice, small wanton soup, and 5 rangoons comes in just under $20 and leaves some for the next day even if I'm HUNGRY.
Tried this place after seeing that many of the reviews were good. Disappointing. The girl at the counter did not speak or acknowledge me. I ordered and paid. She gave me my food and did not respond to my āthank you.ā I got the chicken with vegetables and the sauce had an odd flavor, almost like too much jasmine or some other seasoning. There was very little chickenāthe dish was mostly very bland rice and tough broccoli.
Lemongrass Thai Restaurant
We dined in for dinner & the place was nice, mainly because we were the only people in the place. Seemed to be more to go orders than dine in orders. We enjoyed the nice quiet restaurant & relaxing atmosphere. The waitresses were pleasant & happy to help recommend plates & explained the spice levels. We told our waitress we donāt eat spicy food & itās no coincidence our food was at a low spice & perfect for us. Food was delicious & we will go back to try more plates. We ordered a couple different appetizers. The steamed dumplings were delicious. Also tried the lemongrass combination appetizer plate. It comes with 2 egg rolls, 2 winter shrimp, 2 cheese rolls (similar to cream cheese rangoons), 2 gyoza & 2 spring rolls. The sweet chili sauce served with it was a little different from other places, but very good & we liked it. We also had a tasty soup that was on the specials board when you walk in, it had wide noodles, shrimp, squid & tofu. Then we ordered the Pad Thai noodles. I think we are happier with a different restaurant for Pad Thai so this one wasnāt impressive, but it was still good. We really liked all the food as a whole & hope to go back soon to try more.
Monday 1130am. Nice and quite. Alot of togo order's here. 1st time for me. Tried the Thai dumplings appetizer. Very light, not to much flavor but good, not overcooked, steamed to perfection. Tried lunch Num Prik Pao Sauce with very light slightly fried tofu, not overly cooked like some places do. Tofu soft to bite. Great flavor here and I ordered spicy level 5 from 1-10 choice. My lips were a little numb after but it was good. Hot ans sour soup was good. Nice peppery and slight vinegar taste which I found tasty. Give them a try š
Panda Inn
This place is a gold mine of delicious food. The beef chop suey is probably the thing Iād request as my last meal, no joke. Itās ultra slivered cabbage, celery & onions just made the dish perfection. The sauce was full of flavor, just the right consistency & matched the beef seasoning. Letās not even forget the eggroll that was the size of a small newborn. The aromatic flavor of the sprouts really levels up the eggroll. The second dish (canāt recall the name of as Iām still dreaming of my leftovers) was a bounty of beef & veggies atop pan cooked noodles. Also a 10/10 and very well seasoned. Not pictured are the crab rangoons - large & generously filled so itāll take more than 2 bites to finish one off.
This places lunch specials are unbeatable, Friday is my favorite day for two reasons now! Best Chinese Iāve had in SA so far. I paid less than $10 for this plate, a canned coke and tip.
Mon's Thai Bistro & Sushi Bar
I used to love this place and even gave them a five-star review in the past. Unfortunately, it seems like all good things come to an end. On 12/27/24 at 6:00 PM, I picked up dinner, but my experience was far from what I expected. I ordered my usual Kung Pao Chicken with extra chickenāa dish Iāve had many times before. This time, however, the portion was shockingly small, more like a kidās side meal than a proper dinner. Confused, I called the restaurant to give them an opportunity to address the issue. Instead of understanding my concern, I was told, āYou can speak to the manager, but itās not going to make a difference; those are our portion sizes.ā As someone who values consistency, this was disappointing, especially since my previous experiences were excellent. If this is their new standard, I guess Iāll be taking my business elsewhere. To be fair, at the end of the call, they said, oh sorry we didnāt add the extra chicken.
Atmosphere is excellent. Very clean and serene. We loved the Thai butterflies. So tasty. The Pad Thai medium is pretty spice and yummy. The childrenās chicken fried rice was perfect! My daughter is so picky and loved it. Very lovely shaded outdoor seating. Service was wonderful.
Pinch Boil House
I am a regular and I am always impressed by the friendliness of Destiny and Ariza! They are always kind, sociable, and even memorized my order which is a small but extremely kind gesture. The food is great as well! I regularly get pinch fries, which I 100% recommend, and have also tried the Prawn bowl, the chicken curry, the Japanese curry, and two of their bahn mi sandwiches. Absolutely everything has been tasty and worth ordering. I would absolutely recommend coming here for the food, the atmosphere, the workers, and the cleanliness.
Food is super good! We went twice in one week. The bread for the Banh Mi was soooo soft and toasty. The fries were great perfectly done with a great amount of crab on top. The prices are super reasonable, staff was friendly, and I personally love the posters hanging up as well.
Full House Chinese Restaurant
Was so disappointed in the food and service here. Chicken tasted like it was reheated. Egg rolls were cold on the inside. Didn't finish my food for fear of getting food poisoning! The lady at front was rude! Will never eat here again! Would give 0 stars if I could!
My fiance and I live right around the corner from here and absolutely love this little hole in the wall place, the people are sweet, the food is good, and I even got a photo of their updated hours to help anyone who needs it. This place is a little pricey but the amount you get is worth it completely.
