TEN SECONDS YUNNAN RICE NOODLE (过桥米线)
We picked up an order from here recently and it was delicious! We got one soup (the kimchi one) and the dry noodle dish. Both were incredible. Just the right amount of spice, and really good sized portions as well. We also got the cucumbers for an appetizer, which were so tasty. Highly recommend, so glad we have a good option for some Asian noodles in Stone Oak!
New and delicious food at this “New” Stone Oak restaurant!! Excellent service and nice peaceful atmosphere!! Will be back again to try even more dishes. Yum!!🤤
Mian noodles and dumplings
Very Tasty Noodle and Dumpling Place. The food is exactly as stated and good tasting! Was pretty quickly from order to table as they brought it out as it was cooked. This is not your warm up something that was previously cooked. They have nice dining area decorated tasteful for the size of dining. I should start commenting on this for some small Asian dining places take a hit with their rest rooms. This facility is very clean and neat. I think this is important and reflects an owner or managers care to providing a clean cooking environment. I will make a note of bathrooms going forward - I think we can all agree on this factor. This establishment is A-1Bathroom ! Great good if your hunting for small home Asian cooking in the Stone Oak Area.
Spotless dining area, authentic and delicious food, and warm service. Shocked to find a restaurant of this caliber in a city not known for authentic Chinese food. This restaurant would surely be a crowd favorite in Dallas and Houston as well.
Wahkee Chinese Seafood Cuisine
First time order and will be my last. When I arrived the restaurant was fairly busy with sit in patrons, clean, looked promising. Greeting was mundane and lacking, unlike the engagement the patron before me received. I placed an online order, left instructions to replace egg roll with veggie spring rolls, also allergies to shellfish and pork. I took a bite out if the spring roll, I was given pork egg rolls. I called to confirm and was told the meat was pork. I informed the staff I requested veggie and silence, no resolution to their mistake. Hopefully I will not get sick. I will not be returning
Not only did my order come with it in 30 minutes it came a little earlier!! The food was really good, when tasted it was nice and very hot!! I just got home from the hospital and I play craving some really good wanted food! Just moved to the area!! I have my house up the road from the restaurant which is amazing once I'm able to walk again!! Iordered the LEMON CHICKEN 🍗 🍋🍚 FRIED RICE and they gave me everything I wanted including sweet and sour packet & utensils, the guy on the phone was very nice when placing my order and tip driver 5 dollars! On top of paying for my dinner and my sweet tea I was $18 not bad at all for delivery. My son-in-law and daughter, me ordered 3 dinner dishes good healthy portions still very good price for delivery & food $34 Yes I read all the good and bad reviews but I had to give this place my own review 1 outta 10 ( 8 is what I'll give it )
Taipei
Food was horrible. Tables not cleaned before sitting us in it. Rice on the table. Walls of booths are disgustingly gross. 🤮 The booths were filthy that we sat on. It’s OVERALL GROSS…. Food is a bust and the whole place is just awful and a TRUE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
My greeting was parochial at best. I was seated and then not spoken to for about 10-15 minutes before my server came to the table. As I was considering leaving, the young lady came. (It wasn't busy) Her attitude was matter of fact and lackluster. The food was hot and decent. However, I must say that it tasted exactly like what we get when ordering at an airport or mall food court. It was my first time eating there, and I think their business model may only have a position for a cook rather than a professional. I think I was expecting the latter. So that's on me. I ordered the General Tso Chicken with steamed rice. I don't remember what it cost me, so I may very well have gotten what I paid for. Thanks for reading...
Sabai Thai Kitchen
Wonderful restaurant. Clean and calm. Staff and service is great. Food is great. We had Tom Kha and Tom yum creamy soup. 5 stars all the way. See pictures.
Fresh and flavorful. Sabai Thai Kitchen, located at 19141 Stone Oak Parkway, Suite 305, will not leave you dissapointed with menu features a variety of traditional Thai dishes that parents and kids can enjoy together. My 4 year old twins loves the food choices including: Pad Thai: Stir-fried rice noodles with choice of protein, egg, tofu, sweet radish, and bean sprouts, topped with cilantro and served with ground peanuts and lime. Drunken Noodles: A popular dish with flat rice noodles, vegetables, and Thai basil in a signature sauce. Green Curry: A spicy curry with choice of protein, bell peppers, green beans, bamboo shoots, eggplant, zucchini, and Thai basil in a creamy coconut milk base. Massaman Curry: A milder curry featuring protein options with potatoes, carrots, onions, and cashew nuts in a rich coconut milk sauce. Pumpkin Curry: A unique offering with pumpkin, zucchini, bell peppers, green beans, and Thai basil in red curry and coconut milk. The restaurant also offers appetizers like spring rolls, crab rangoon, and chicken satay, as well as desserts such as mango with sticky rice.
Heavenly Pho Vietnamese Cuisine
Having Pho in the US is always something to look up to when traveling across the globe. Most Vietnamese (Pho) restaurants in the US have a common taste. Fresh roll is also something that goes well before the noodle. Vietnamese coffee is also a must. It's just not served in a dropping way of a local coffee would do. The inside is too dark from the curtains though.
On Friday evening, my boyfriend suggested Vietnamese for dinner. While he wanted Pho, I saw some photos of tasty vermicelli bowls that looked like they would hit the spot. After searching online, Heavenly Pho popped up in our search so we made our way slowly to the restaurant during rush hour traffic. The restaurant was decorated beautiful inside and we were greeted immediately upon entry and seated by our waiter. While our waiter took our drink orders, we browsed the menu and I decided to dine on the Vermicelli Chicken bowl that included an eggroll and shrimp, while my boyfriend selected the Pho special and an order of Crispy Calamari. Our waiter came out often to check on us and even warmed my noodles at my request for my Vermicelli bowl. While I understand we are dealing with inflation, I wasn't pleased to count 5 pieces of chicken and see 2 pieces of shrimp heaped on a bowl of noodles and bean sprouts. After viewing other restaurants and seeing what was in placed in front of me, I started to doubt our choice to dine here. I for one love eating at home and my boyfriend loves eating out, but if you are going to raise prices to around $14 a bowl, 1/3 cup of meat should at least be the standard to serve to your guest. I also wasn't pleased with the poorly cleaned shrimp with the dirt line that glowed on the plate in front of me. I felt a bit slighted as he dined on his Pho so I ended up tasting his selection, which was seasoned to perfection. He also ordered a Banh Mi to go and we paid our tab. For nearly $64 with a tip, I do believe I could have found a meal that I felt was worth the trip and cost elsewhere. When I eat out, I like to find restaurants that have ingredients that I normally don't cook with so that I feel like it was worth the trip, labor and cost. My meal, I feel I definitely could have prepared off of a YouTube tutorial and enjoyed more at home. I felt like they tried to disguise the protein under the vegetables to make you think you were getting more than you were (sigh). I will continue looking around San Antonio for other selections.
SUSHI EXPRESS
Important note, this is a Korean and Japanese restaurant, not just a Sushi restaurant. The name can be misleading or make some think they only serve sushi. Came for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was not crowded, so was immediately seated. Olivia immediately came over for drink and appetizer orders. She did a great job throughout the evening. For the appetizer, ordered the Tornado Potato, Tempura Sampler. Mussels, and Yellow Tail sushi. Food was brought out as they were ready, so ranged between 5 and minutes for all. Everything was good, but my favorite was the simplest dish of the Tornado Potato. Had a nice crisp and went with the salt only flavoring. Sushi was a nice cut of fresh yellow tail. The Tempura Sampler had a few undercooked items that left the vegetables a little hard. The mussels were good, but the toppings overpowered the mussels flavor. For the meal, ordered the Galbi-Tang and Spicy Squid. Both of these dishes were very good. I slightly preferred the soup, but both were good. Galbi-Tang contained large chunks of short ribs and the broth was perfect. The Spicy Squid had good sized pieces of squid in a spicy base mixed with other vegetables. For dessert, finished with the banana tempura which was bananas fried in tempura batter drizzled with a fruit puree and chocolate sauce served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It wasn't too heavy or too sweet. Overall, good Korean food with some Japanese dishes and good service.
Ordered dinner tonight from Sushi Express and boy they did not disappoint! We ordered a California roll, Scorpion roll, Rainbow roll & Rowdy roll and they were all absolutely delicious. Also ordered 2 egg rolls that were super tasty! All of the food was fresh, the rolls were neatly put together, and the food was packaged perfectly. Very much enjoyed tonights meal and will certainly be back to try more rolls!
India Taj Palace
Weekday lunch hour was pretty dull with no crowd. Ambiance needs a lot of improvements to make it look new and lively. Service was top notch and we got all the attention for the à la carte order we placed. The buffet was decent with some vegetarian dishes done better than others. I wish they covered the dishes to avoid the curry surfaces from drying up. Fresh naans (breads) served were the highlight as they were done just right. Overall a decent place to eat.
High Quality food and service. Home made taste, very good variety. One of the best I had.
Jerusalem Grill
Jerusalem Cafe is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine! We ordered several dishes, including the mezza platter, which was outstanding. The tabouleh salad was vibrant and refreshing, the mahmara was rich and flavorful, the foul had a comforting depth, and the hummus was creamy perfection. The naan was a highlight—huge, soft, and absolutely delicious. It paired perfectly with everything on the platter. I also appreciated the many vegan options on the menu, making it a great choice for all dietary preferences. The quality and care in every dish were evident. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mediterranean food, Jerusalem Cafe should be at the top of your list!
Will has been here before and said it was excellent. We are here today and I have to agree. The food is fresh and delicious. Side note - the place is clean and spotless. The food orders are large. The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki - Sonterra Blvd, San Antonio
❤️❤️❤️… Incredible food and the service was nothing short of perfection from our waiter/bartender… Gabriel, he was so attentive and tender to our every need, explained the menu to the T and made some of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had!!! We have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed us in any way and our experience this visit was a 10/10!
Such a lovely establishment. The Alaskan roll is phenomenal, and Tatiana was wonderful! The sushi was SOO good I didn’t get any pictures. The drinks were also amazing! Thank you all so much for the lovely dinner experience.
Sushi Seven
We ordered takeout from here and it was really good. The spicy tuna had big chunks of tuna in it. The habanero and Luis roll were fantastic. Sushi seven roll was my least favorite but I’m not a huge Mayo fan and it has a lot of Mayo for me
Chopstick lick'n good with phenomenal service. My husband and I went here for lunch and not only was thr food fresh and delicious, The service was impeccable. Our server cleared the table of anything immediately. She also made sure our drinks were full. In addition, although we didn't ask for it, she took a roll off our bill that my husband and I didn't care for. We tried to insist on paying for it since it was something new we were trying and there was no fault with the quality or presentation, just a personal preference but she wouldn't hear of it. We put the cost of the roll plus a little extra on her tip because we were just that impressed.
Honmachi Sushi & Teppanyaki Stone Oak Location
Awesome place to celebrate a bday or special night out! (Wiwi/Kiwi) was an awesome chef and kept us all entertained! Highly recommend. I feel like I already ate half and this is what my plate looked like.
Very good comfort food, I could come here every time I’m in the area and hungry for Japanese food. The chicken teriyaki was cooked on par, the white rice is right on, the miso soup is very tasty and the tempura is very good.
