chef Asian cuisine
This place just opened and we decided to give a try since a nice lady welcome us to come in and try it out. And no regrets they were all very kind and the food was delicious. Charley our waiter was very attentive and showed us a magic trick at the end which made the service even better. We will definitely come back again…
Thanks to Charlie we had a amazing experience after we had a great meal and service... Charlie showed us a cool magic trick
Kettle & Wok
The restaurant is tucked away in an office building close to the airport. Look for the sign next to the parking lot to direct you to their location. The space was quaint and very clean. There is an option for outdoor seating although it didn't appear open when we went. The owner was there to help us. She was a wonderfully sweet and helpful lady who answered questions about the menu and made recommendations. I got the Lomo Saltado over parmesan noodles and my husband got the Ribeye Steak Bowl. Both were delicious! I appreciated that the Lomo Saltado came with the green sauce you get at most Peruvian restaurants. And over parmesan spaghetti was pretty indulgent. If you want to try different flavors, the Lomo Saltado & Ribeye Steak Bowl were pretty similar in flavor so I would recommend getting one or the other. The tea was delicious albeit slightly on the sweeter side. Overall, we loved the experience. The hidden location may cause their business to be a bit slow so be sure to check this place out if you are in the area. They deserve the business.
What a gem this place is ! Located inside of an office building , this little restaurant could be easy to pass up , but don't! So far I have only had lunch there but it was delicious and so fresh. I love that it is fast , the seating area is clean and they have an array of offerings like Asian and Peruvian inspired dishes. They also have what looks to be delicious coffee/latte options as well, but I haven't tried them. It's really too good to not give it a try !
Formosa Garden
Good Chinese food overall. Although the hot and sour soup and the pork buns were bland, the rest of the meal picked up from there. The General Tso's chicken and the chicken in black bean sauce were well spiced and delicious. They also gave generous portions.
Well here we are with a reservation family of 14 people hibachi dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Booked this place 2 weeks ahead. Our chef Shamu did not have a runner/server for the event, said he was short staffed. We asked the manager Leo for some help as we sat for over an hour and only had our soup. Forgot to give us our appetizer and salad as part of our meal. Drinks running low so I had to refill everyone's drinks and run to the bar to ask for another round. We also had no one to clear our table and had to physically clean/clear our eating space ourselves and put dishes in the busser container. This place lacks attention to staff and detail. Our salads came drowned in water, our fried rice was overcooked and yet this was supposed to be a family birthday celebration. 2 hours in and we are barely getting started on our actual meals. 16 staff standing around in the main dining hall, bartender was on his phone, and the place hardly has any tables of customers to attend to and no one could be bothered to come help. Kudos to the chef for doing the best he could but without any assistance from staff or management, this place is not worthy of a revisit.
Wok This Way
This was our 1st time here. The teriyaki chicken with steamed rice was fantastic! It was so flavorful. I actually wanted to order a to go plate. And the sweet and sour pork with the sauce was so so good. The sauce was thick, not like the glazes you normally get. Everything was freshly made. The pork egg rolls were so good, we had to order a couple more to fulfill our cravings. And the staff was super friendly and very helpful to explain the dishes. We will definitely be back.
Everything was freshly made so it did take a bit of await which I didn't mind. My kids had egg drop soup for the first and finished it. Got half of kimchi fried rice and couldn't finish portion was too big for me but I still enjoyed. Definitely will be coming back.
Pho Tommy1
My girlfriend has gotten me food from here before and it’s been amazing but I never found out where she bought it from! Today was the first time we went in person together and it did not disappoint! The shrimp spring rolls were so delicious, the pho was perfection, everything is made with so much love! the atmosphere in the restaurant alone would make me come back! Ana is so sweet and I will definitely be coming back again and again and AGAIN!
My dad and I come here every so often, and the owner knows who are we and what we order every single time (easy when it's the same thing! Brisket and eye round pho!) All the food's delicious, service is excellent and very fast! It's the best pho soup we've had around here that's to our tastes, so it's always nice coming back to say hello and have a bite to eat.
Yummi sushi and grill
my friend and I shared two appetizers and a roll, about $20 per person if split evenly. good quality and hot when it comes out, everything is plated very nicely. they have a very extensive menu, though it's hard to tell what rolls are cooked or raw since there's no specific section for it. a really nice spot for an affordable dinner. I will say the miso soup comes in these very used plastic bowls.. didn't feel very clean and there wasn't much soup portioned for us. I'd say that was the only negative thing
Reminds me of a more classic feel Japanese restaurant. Great fish compared to most other places. All you can eat menu had good selection and worth the cost for me, I'll eat 3 rolls myself. Couldn't help myself, started eating then realized they deserve a photo and 5 stars.
Panera Bread
The food was delicious, no issues there but if i was the manager I would be super disappointed in the way the inside looks ( pictures for reference) place was a disgusting mess....outlets were exposed, which can create a serious LAWSUIT ( keep that in mind Panera bread). There was a caution wet sign just laying in the middle of the floor. Napkins and numerous dirty tables everywhere. Might as well eat on the dam floor. This generation has gotten so lazy and only care about the money made. We can all do better, especially if you want to continue taking people's money. Won't recommend and will post on all my social media platforms. Do better!!!!
Good is priced way too high for the quality THIS LOCATION SERVES! My food looked pretty crappy compared to their photos as advertised. Would not come back to this location. Compare my photo of my sandwich to what is advertised….
Thai Cafe
We came here for the lunch buffet that is offered from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. The selection was very good and everything on the buffet looked fresh and delicious! I really enjoyed the pad Thai and the fried rice paired with the yellow curry! I felt that there was a lot of options here and everything had a good process to it! There were markers showing if the food was spicy or not as well as the staff giving recommendations and happy to answer any questions you may have. The price was very affordable and I was happy with the service and food! The only downside was a personal preference of mine where they did not offer fountain drinks for soft drinks/sodas.
My experience here was okay but not exceptional. I was surprised that the sticky mango rice didn’t impress me—it didn’t excite my taste buds. The sticky rice was overcooked. Additionally, the lady who was serving and taking orders had a bit of an attitude. I used to enjoy this place before the new owner took over. I do not recommend this place.
Thai Casa on broadway
We came for lunch, and had a blast! The garlic stir fry was surprisingly good. Egg drop soup was cold; you should ask the waiter to bring a hot portion if served. But I came for the entrees, and was pleased, and full. 😋😋😋
Food is always so delicious and fresh! Love the atmosphere and attentive staff! Cheese rolls are my personal fav and the sushi is perfection!
Thai House Restaurant on Rittiman
I really enjoyed our meal here. Came for the first time with my mom and we ordered the Phad Basil, Pepper Steak and something else with noodles that I can’t remember. It was very tasteful and my favorite was the spring rolls and the dipping sauce. Will definitely come again!
Ordered the chicken pad Thai to go with an app of veggie spring rolls. Rolls were crunchy and dipping sauce was good. Pad Thai was ordered hot and could have had a little more spice but overall it was pretty tasty. Food was ready when I arrived and very hot and plentiful for the portion.
Pho Plus Vietnamese Restaurant
The service provided by Kelly and the quality of the food was absolutely phenomenal! 10/5 stars, highly recommend this food and restaurant! Definitely coming back and becoming a loyal customer to Pho Plus ♥️.
Pho taste is really good. Perfect for family time in San Antonio. Also Pad Thai and eggroll good.
Myung Ga Won
This was my first time at this restaurant and I have to say the food and service was incredible. I ordered the kan pung gi which was deliciously crispy and full of flavor with the perfect amount of spicy. My boyfriend ordered the daeji bulgogi and usually he's not the type to eat kimchi but this place made it so perfectly that he ate everything. The prices match the portion you're getting and the quality as well. The server was so kind and attentive I didn't catch his name but he was really nice. I wish this restaurant got more attention instead of the chain k bbq places
I first visited this place a long time ago with family and I remember it started my love for Korean food. I know business is slower for them since a lot of other Korean and Asian restaurants of opened nearby, but this is still an amazing place. The restaurant was clean and the staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful. The menu is missing some items but the food is still delicious. The side dishes (banchan) were very flavorful and savory, and some were served warm which was a nice change from all the cold dishes we are used to always getting. Not a single one tasted bad and my family ate every single bit. The lunches were delicious and were large, filling portions. We had the beef and pork bulgogi. The meat was well marinated and tender, sliced thinner than some other places, which made it tastier and easy to many with just a fork or chopsticks. My family ordered one dinner dish, Kkanpunggi, and the portion was huge! And the staff had no trouble making it spicier when requested. My family liked it so much more than our regular Korean restaurant that now it'll have to be our go to. Highly recommend this place! (Excuse the messiness of the plates in the photos, my family couldn't wait to eat)
