We stopped here while visiting friends and family. The place was very busy and we had four people in our party so it took some time to get our order. The food arrived hot and cooked to order for everyone in our party. The food was very delicious and full of flavor. The staff was very nice and took really good care of us while we waited on our order. Overall, we had a great dinning experience.

Food is always hot and delicious. I usually get the catfish and shrimp with fries which are seasoned as a bonus. I've also switched out the fries for fried rice and wasn't disappointed. You have to try their garlic dipping sauce. It's amazing! The prices and portions are reasonable. The service is also great and the place is clean even on Fridays during Lent. I look forward to trying more of their menu in the future. Side note: If you have leftover fries, take them home and warm them up in the air fryer or oven and enjoy them with another dish or dip them in the garlic sauce.

I walked in and signs said to sit myself, and I did so. I waited about 25 minutes for a waitress to attend to me with a menu. They were playing with the lottery machines thereShe only checked on us once. The food, though, was amazing!

This place is good for a quick mexican bite. It is a little bit tex-mex influenced, yet still enough authentic food items available. Friendly and genuine service with good attention to guests and table. Nice atmosphere with a lot of space and the music is not overpowering either. All in all a good place to have nearby.

Ordered takeout on Christmas Eve. They were about ready to close and we were able to get one last order put in. Order was ready on time for carry out. My chicken pad Thai was okay. The chicken tasted off to me. We had two orders of this. Could have been just a bit more spicy so I’d ask for some additional flavor next time. We also ordered Drunken Noodles, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Everyone enjoyed those. Cheese rangoons as well. They were just okay. We did not enjoy the sushi rolls. Would not order again. Would try it again for a sit down experience to see if the quality of food was a bit better. I was just very appreciative we had an order last minute Christmas Eve, so maybe it was a bit rushed for them right before closing.

Due to the weather, I was in need of some Red Curry. It was hot and fresh. It didn't have a heavy presence of Cocunut milk which i like but it definitely did the job. The hot n sour soup was good along with the Pot stickers. It came with a tasty brown sauce. Definitely going back to try other dishes.

A Dong Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant @DeZavala

A Dong is one of the very few restaurants in San Antonio that offer a menu closer to authentic Vietnamese food. Their “canh chua” (Vietnamese sour soup) is pretty great, might be on the sweeter note, but if you’re from South Vietnam it’s perfect. We also love their fish sauce chicken wings - so crispy and flavorful. Their lotus roots salad or beef salad is refreshing. Lastly if you enjoy savory and crispy, try the sautéed pork ribs!

This past Wednesday, we visited a restaurant we haven’t been to in years. A Dong Restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Hubby and I both had the Coconut Drink that was very refreshing. Love the fresh coconut meat! Dad had Soy Bean Milk. We started off with the Vietnamese Egg Rolls and Crab and Corn Soup. The soup tasted good but the crabmeat was not the star of the dish. Hubby had the Beef Rice Noodle, which is one of his favorite dishes. I tried some and it was tasty. Dad and I shared the Stir Fry Vermicelli Combo without the curry since we didn’t like spicy. There was some flavor but could’ve use some more. There are 2 locations. We visited the 5222 DeZavala Rd., Suite 318 location. The other location is on Agora Parkway in Selma.

I've had this twice already and both times I've ordered general tso with fried and white rice. Food tastes good, I just wish it was spicier. Egg rolls are great and the fried rice could be better but overall compared to other places, this is good and reasonably priced.

Eat here at your own risk! The first time i ordered from here, i got sick! Didnt think much of it, thought maybe i got some germs from somewhere i might have been or people i might have been around. Ate here again maybe 6 months later...and wouldnt you know it...i got sick again. After reading other reviews, i see im not the only one. Never again.
