China Flag Buffet
Basing the review off the typical Chinese buffet experience, this place is good. Food was fresh, crab ragoons actually had a decent amount of filling in them. Sesame chicken was a little mushy, but, it IS a buffet. The biggest disappointment was there were NO cones for the ice cream, only little plastic sauce cups. The selection was vast, even having chicken nugs and pizza for the weirdos.
This place was a good find. We hadn’t had a Chinese buffet in quite a while and searched one up. It led us here. It looks rather run of the mill from the outside and you can’t really judge anything. Once inside, it’s really nice with tasteful decorations, a cool ship-shaped buffet line, and even a couple TVs. They have traditional Chinese buffet offerings, along with the obligatory chicken nuggets and Americanized stuff, sushi, and even a hibachi grill. I started with the hot and sour soup, which is a favorite of mine. Theirs is quite good, and I have had many. The dumplings were good and even the wontons were very tasty. The various other items like beef and broccoli, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, green beans (nicely crunchy), and the like were all very good. You can’t say that about a lot of places. The sushi bar has a small but effective selection including salmon, tuna, and crab nigiri. I even tried the hibachi grill and everything was cooked very well, and not overcooked. Honestly, this place for the price point is a tremendous deal. I’ve been to some really bad buffets and this is not one of them. I have to bump this rating up for the $15.99 price point on a Friday night! I will definitely think of this place next time I get the craving.
Panda Express
When we pulled up it was right before 930 pm. They already had the chairs up. So we had to double check their closing hours and it still said 11pm. So we went in. They had already cleaned the floor. Which means they started at like 9 or sooner. Immediately was thinking that's way too early and didn't make up feel welcomed to eat there. Took them a few minutes to help us, she had nicely asked us to wait. They had soap all over the floors back there too. The smell was so so strong. I could taste it even. They had most of the main food there but no sides. If we wanted to eat like wantons or egg rolls we had to wait 8 mins she said. The teriyaki was burnt!!! Like she tossed like 3 pieces to get to the bottom and it was all still burnt. Which she gave me anyways. After eating some I couldn't bite thru the charlled burnt chicken and saw the egg and carrots in the fried rice were also burned. Which we obviously took our food to go because we didn't want to eat smelling the chemicals or having to make us take a chair down. But they were still very busy for 930. Idk or I'm not sure ill care either to go back there. Pic is just how burnt the chicken was and also I got like 4 pieces of chicken in my sweet fire. Such a massive disappointment.
Consistently served subpar food, I typically get the honey walnut shrimp and anytime i get from this location they are always poorly breaded and sometimes stale, hard, and crunchy. Today was by far the worst time, as I seem to have found a piece of metal in my meal. Do not go here, save your stomach. Employees do not care about your food or proper food safety
