Wok 1
I hate to give them a bad review because the food is good but it’s losing value over time since I started coming here. When you pay for extra protein ($5 upcharge) you would expect it to be there but they seem to be trying to get away with the regular portion and keeping the money. Come on, chicken is so cheap to get commercially.
It's totally amazing! I was mind blown, and this will be my go-to Chinese restaurant from here on. We did take-out and got our food in less than 15 minutes. Once we got home, the delicious smell of the noodles had me drooling. The shrimp and egg rolls were delicious! 10 out of 10 would recommend. I'm definitely coming again.
Ginsoy Extreme Chinese
After a long time I got the taste and experience of Pakistani Chinese food. Their street style chicken corn soup was the best. Their white hot and sour soup was not good at all. It had an extreme sour taste and felt like something has gone bad in the soup. Their Chicken Chili Dry was tasty and it tasted better with their fried rice. Dynamite chicken was okay - they could have used rather smaller pieces. Overall it was a good experience - close to Ginosy in Pakistan. They could do better with taste and training the staff. The utensils were not clean. We had to ask for fresh silverware and bowl a couple of times.
Finally made it to Ginsoy. I have tried Ginsoy in Pakistan, Canada and finally now in Houston. We went on a Monday late evening and thankfully were seated right away. There was a large party on the other side of the restaurant so it was very loud and chaotic. It took a few minutes for our server to ask for drinks etc. You get a Fiji water bottle for $2 each. We ordered single servings of hot and sour soup, garlic friend rice, spicy schezwan chicken and beef chilli. They also served us complimentary crackers which was great. Soup came out pretty quickly and tasted yummy. The rest of the food took 40 mins to come and we had to inquire a few times from our server to check on the status. We were told that the kitchen was running behind. Anyways the chicken and rice were delicious. Chilli beef was a bit disappointing. Service can definitely be improved as I saw a family that never got their dynamite shrimp despite asking about it 4-5 times. In the end they just gave up and told the server to take it off the bill as they had finished their dinner and the appetizer never came. The environment was very loud and everything seemed chaotic. Hopefully this will get better as the restaurant is still new and getting used to the high influx of customers wanting to try it out. The food is definitely authentic Pakistani style so I enjoyed that. Single servings were perfect for a family of 3.
Panda Express
I recently ordered uber eats from them because it got too late for me to cook when I got home. I was enjoying my food until I realized that they took a scoop of rice and placed it in the second meat choice section and put a tiny amount of beef and broccoli over it to seem like more. Like cmon man I’m paying for my food for you to do that to me! The whole section should have been my meat choice! If you didn’t have any the least you could have done was add more of the other meat and place a note saying you ran out! Not cheat me with filler rice. So disappointed
Food was good ordered the 3 entree menu shinghi beef grilled teriyaki chicken orange chicken and crab reagoons. I asked for half chow mein half fried rice was told could only do if I get 2 entree and use the other for the chow mein
