Sugr Wok
I was in the Katy area at Holistique Healing Spa two doors down to get massasge therapy for tension headache. The therapist, May, walked me over next door after my session to Sugr Wok Asian Food as she said a hot soup will also help with my headache. I got the wonton soup and I wasn't expecting much as it's just wonton soup. But actually I really liked my soup! It was really fresh and not oily and not too much salt. I ordered shrimp to add to my soup and it had the wonton dumplings and vegetables ..so good and refreshing. The owners were really friendly and easy to talk to. They gave me a small sampler plate of my favorites..1 each of crab rangoon, a fried dumpling, and a custard cake. My soup came out fairly quickly. As far as the restaurant floor itself, everything was clean and tidy. The soup was the perfect end to my morning errands. I want to go back before I fly back home to try their other food. This is a fairly new restaurant, two months old, I hope more people stop by and check Tim and family's cooking out!
Second visit, again I was not disappointed. The food and portions are amazing. You will not go home hungry. Food is awesome they will even kick it up a notch if you want it spicy. Customer service was Spectacular. The food portion is enough to take for lunch the next day. Definitely will have to try other items on the menu soon. đ
Kosher Tokyo Hibachi
We enjoy the hibachi chicken but PLEASE, not so much strips of cabbage. It is overloaded! Please put in more chicken & way less cabbage. There were barely any zuchini also. In addition, when we ordered takeout last night (3/24) white rice was put in when we had asked for fried rice. We think with some tweaking & sprucing up the restaurant a lot, it has potential since we enjoy the food especially the eggrolls & hibachi chicken. We hope these reviews get read & taken into consideration. Please, not so much cabbage! It ruins it!
It was a special day for my son and he loved it. We had a little of everything and he truly â¤ď¸ 'ed it! From the Wonton Eggdrop soup to the Stir Fried dishes, everything cooked to perfection...and our main menu at the register...very patient to go over every one of his 20 questions in detail - it was bliss!
Meet Spice Chinese Kitchen
This place is awesome. My family and I enjoy this at least once a week. They've got great food, really good prices, very timely, excellent service, and great good portion sizes. This is definitely our go to place for amazing flavor and comfort. we recommend to everyone in the area. Go check it out!
It's in the same building as the old Chinese restaurant that used to be there. ( Golden cafe ) I think it's ran by new people (I didn't see the older guy who usually runs it) The menu is somewhat new as some items are new and specialty dishes, some are just Chinese (typical Chinese Viet Thai generic Asian restaurant food) staples. The prices are more expensive than the older spot. They brought back sushi bar!!! But I haven't tried it yet. Chili oil dumplings were amazing!!! Egg rolls are solid!! The crispy fried chicken was ok, too many peppers the spice was good the chicken was very good and tender. The food was good, the only problem I had is the egg foo young. The egg omelette was buried under gravy and meat it was like egg omelette with beef and veggies mixed on top drowned in gravy. It's not what I expected IMO About 15$ per person the average dish is 12$ Service is good, workers are nice! ..... Update The sushi is pretty good, lady makes it fresh. The salt pepper fish is amazing! Steamed dumplings were good. General tso tofu was good Tried out the dry hot pot pork intestines ~ aka Chinese chitlins They were good! the only problem (for me) is the Sichuan? Mala? Spice peppers ( the mouth numbing stuff ) it's not spicy or hot but every now and again you chew one get a tangy bitter taste and you tounge is numb... I had to pick mine out. The same peppercorn is in the crispy fried chicken. If it's not your taste you can ask what dishes it's in but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be for those dishes... It's an experience Chili oil dumplings still the best item, I bought 2 orders! The restaurant is a new place but with that said my mom liked the food at the older spot more the way it's prepared and seasoned is different. Update.... House special Noodle are good! The salt pepper fish and chili oil dumplings are my favorite here!!! Again bought 2 orders Hunan beef is good! The service is still great!
Shanghai Garden
A little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that has very limited seating inside, so much so that I wouldn't really consider it dine in, and just take out. The food has been, for the most part, really good. The moo shi I tried once was very salty, and occasionally the lo mein just feels very under seasoned. Aside from those two minor issues, we've always had a good experience here. The parking can get kind of sketchy, mainly because there's no designated parking spaces and if some folks just park stupid, it blocks a lot of the available space. I can't speak for any kind of bathroom here, as I've never used it. But I do know I couldn't get in the front door with my wheelchair if I needed too. All that being said, the food is still tasty, the portions are big, and the prices aren't insane. For those reasons alone, we keep coming back.
This place is definitely more of a takeout spot, but it's totally worth it if you're craving Chinese food. The Chicken Lo Mein was delicious, and paired perfectly with their hot oil. Definitely recommend giving it a try! As for the Szechuan Chicken, it wasn't spicy at all, and honestly, it was more like a Kung Pao chicken than anything else. Not quite what I expected and wouldnât recommend it.
Chans Chinese Food
Thus is the best drive through Chinese food place I've ever known. Food is always hot and fresh and the variety is exceptional. My favorite place for comfort food đ
Food was nasty as hell, chicken wings were dry and bland. Pepper steak was more Peppers and onions that anything and shrimp fried rice was tasty and tasteless. Will never ever ever eat here again. Go out if business please already!! I don't know why people say Chinese restaurants make the best chicken wings, maybe in other cities and states the do..... But not in Jacksonville Florida, these Chinese restaurants are---STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE !!!
China Inn Cafe
I had been a customer to China Inn Cafe since 2017, I usually placed an order once a week and often twice a week. Throughout that time our tea order would not show up or they would send the wrong soup and they would give me a credit for the next order. Today was just the worst, food is good enough to put up with it most of the time, but when the missed one of the lunch items we ordered after they repeated the order multiple times forgot to charge us for it(they did not input the order in their system). When we called to figure out what happen we placed the order for the missing food, I waited to eat with my wife, 1:15 minutes later when we called to check on delivery time the said that the driver refused to deliver it because it wasnât more than $20. I talked to the manager after the person who takes the order had to beg him to talk to me, I could here him in the background saying he does not want to deal with customer service issues, she insisted and then he got on the phone and said, âwhat you want!â( I tried to take the rude response as a translation thing). I explained that I have been a loyal customer for years and that I would like to have my food, he said he pays the driver too much for a order less than $20, I told him that I tip the driver $6-$10 for a ordered that is usually $34 and that my order would have been more than $20 if they had gotten it right in the first place. He said driver refused and that he cannot do anything about it, that I can go pick it up. Forgive the long negative review but good grief. Enough is enough. They have lost a loyal customer who put up with their incompetence for years. Do not be like me and put up with it, because when they mess up bad, the owner will not care. To the lady on the phone, thank you for making him get on the phone, you have integrity.
Disgusting ppl They don't care about you because they don't eat it themselves Don't eat here as you can see A ROACH IN MY FOOD! then they had the nerve to ask if I wanted some more Don't bring this garbage to your family to eat I beg you I will be reporting them to food authorities! They need to be inspected ASAP
Panda Express
Ordered a take out, customized the small dinner plate option. It was flavorful however the lo mein noodles were quite dry. That could have been better.
Staff was welcoming with a smile đ Flavor was on point, fresh hot food.Hard to eat out and get hot food I'm impressed! Bathroom is clean along with restaurant! I highly recommend
Rice
Me and my wife have been ordering from here, since before they moved. Everything we've tried has been great........Our son loves the wonton soup. It's hard to say what I usually go with, because everything is great. Today, I went with the Orange chicken, some shrimp egg rolls, and cheese wontons. Keep up the great work!
I have only lived in Dayton for about a year and a half and I was always in search of some good Chinese food. Rice is the spot for me hands down! Itâs a simple name but delicious food! My recommendations would be House fried rice and Sweet and sour chicken.
Tomato Garden Chinese Restaurant
Hello i place and order today my food came in five minutes after placing my order which the food was disgusting the rice taste old and shrimp lo mein was awful also tasted old.
I spent $50 tonight on the worst Chinese food that was so-so. The egg rolls were all breading and dry. My children and I love egg rolls and we were all disappointed. My daughter ordered the orange chicken and it was horrible!!!I I had the pepper steak and it was bland and just ok. My son had the chicken and broccoli and he said his was good. This is the last time I will order from this place. I can't believe how bad the food was. I called to let the owner know and he didn't seem to care. To top if off, the fortune cookies were stale and soft, not crunchy, and had a funny taste. What is going on with this place? Never again will I eat here! I wouldn't say I like giving negative reviews, but I felt I needed to this time.
Hunan Spring
Came in for lunch at 1:30. I ordered from the lunch special menu which has very fair prices. Food was mediocre but when it came to paying I was disappointed in the service. My friend and I got our checks and paid. Our server waited at our table for like 5 minutes, and was asking us for a tip. We gave him $3 and he said âthatâs itâ (our bill was only $18). We gave him one more dollar and he was still waiting at the table. Didnât appreciate him being unprofessional like this, I personally work at a 4-star restaurant and couldnât imagine what my boss would say to me if I was begging for a tip.
Iâm mainly reviewing for a specific dish which I look for, their mapo tofu, because I enjoy it specifically. From photos, I hoped it would be more flavorful but it was more on the bland side: not really a strong sense of the mala spicyness, nor the flavor of the bean sauce. Their rice was also unfortunately clumpy and somewhat harder, see photos attached. The ongoing search for better mapo tofu continues!
