Great little shop inside 99 Ranch. You can get some good traditional dim sum here at a decent price. I'm used to NYC dim sum, and I've missed it; thankfully this place is a pretty decent stand in. I can do my grocery shopping at 99 Ranch and get some to go dim sum from here for lunch when I leave. Shu mai was great. Har kow was just OK. Spare ribs with squash was very good. Fried pork dumpling (hom sui gok) was great. Stuffed eggplant was good, but a little oily. Sticky rice in a leaf was great also. Turnip cake (lo bak go) was good. I would happily grab some more to go after my grocery shopping everytime.

Best pan fried soup dumplings in town! Be warned, there is lots of juice inside each dumpling and it is piping hot. Don’t burn your tongue. It is worth the thirty minute drive here. I also liked the green scallion noodle.

Newly opened restaurant in the food court of 99 ranch. Really authentic Shanghainese noodles and pan fried buns with friendly staff and a window where you can watch them make the food fresh. The pan fried buns are freshly made so there’s a 10-15 minute wait but it’s definitely worth it! The scallion oil soy sauce noodle is definitely worth a try as well.

4.5 stars: I really liked the good beef stir fry noodle. Stir fry rice cakes were pretty good too. Wonton chip complimentary at the start of meal and fortune cookie at the end is a cute touch. Entree items come with rice. Soup dumplings were ok, not too special so I’d probably skip that next time. Salt and pepper shrimp was ok too, better than the soup dumplings but I wish they cooked the onion more.

We ordered Ma bo tofu, Singapore noodle and sautéed lamb with cumin. Good presentation, fresh and moderate potion (dine in 2 people, and bring to go home some left). Served with steamed white rice on side. Personally a bit salty, otherwise I’ll put five stars.

I tried for the first tonight. I loved the Chicken Pho! Also had the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and the Beef Fried Rice. Of course I am taking much home; at least several meals worth! Very nice staff. Go check it out for yourself!!!

Pho Oh Yeah is one of the few restaurants that we try to visit at least once a month if not every other month. The restaurant is very clean with great ambience. Service is also prompt and friendly. The portion size is extremely generous! You will definitely not leave hungry 😊 We tend to choose from the noodle soups when it comes to the menu. One of these days, we'll have to start trying out all the other rice and vermicelli dishes. House special pho: Generous amount of meats and veggies. Most importantly, the broth was perfectly seasoned. Bun bo hue: This is our go to dish! Well seasoned and not too spicy. Perfect amount of meats, pork hocks, and blood cakes. Bun Rieu Cua: This is a specialty Vietnamese dish that may be a bit difficult to find outside of Chinatown. It's a noodle soup with tomatoes, pork, minced crab, and tofu. Very flavorful and delicious! Pho Oh Yeah is definitely one of the top 3 Pho Restaurants here in the Katy area. This is coming from someone who is Vietnamese and has lived in Katy for almost 20 years. Highly recommend for anyone to try out!
