Lao Sze Chuan has delicious food served in a clean and trendy establishment. They have a wide ranging menu with fair prices. The pork soup dumplings were great with a perfectly steamed outside to piping hot flavorful broth on the inside. The sesame chicken had a nice sweet and spicy flavor and I felt it was not over breaded. The staff was very nice and helpful as well

Recommended best Szechuan in Montrose. Very good Chinese food and equally good service; friendly staff. Ordered hot and sour soup (one of the best I’ve had), chicken egg roll, chicken with vegetables and dry chili chicken (recommend this dish, loved it!)

Delicious authentic and cute restaurant on Montrose that serves all of the Sichuan cuisine classics and does it extremely well. The prices here are fair for the quality of food you get, and the portions are family style. We especially loved the spicy chicken cubes and the eggplant and green beans. A decent amount of seating for a relatively small restaurant, and the parking is drive-in and back-out only, and not too many spaces. Staff was very friendly, and food came out very fast. Definitely one of my favorite Sichuan places in Houston, highly recommend.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant! The parking is limited but worth the wait to find a spot if it's busy. The menu has a great variety of dishes and shareable (2 adults and 1 child shared everything pictured). Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is pleasant. I appreciated it not being so cold inside.

This place is cool. You just have to come and experience the vibe yourself. Because this place is a vibe. The pizza was actually super good, came out hot and fresh. Perfect amount of cheese and the crust was just to die for. Want pizza and drinks? This is the place for you.

It’s a great spot for grabbing pizza and drinks. When we went for dinner on Monday, it wasn’t too crowded. The weather was finally cooling down. The pizza was really tasty and arrived quickly! We also enjoyed the ranch and tried the wings. The only thing I’d suggest is a bit more sauce on the wings, but they were still really tasty. My companion was happy with the beers he had. The atmosphere and decor are awesome, especially the Halloween decorations. The restroom has this wall of mirrors, which is kind of fun after a few drinks. The staff was super friendly and even checked in to ask about my friend's cocktail preferences! I’ll definitely be back!

As pictured, I ordered eggplant in garlic sauce with steamed rice, and bbq ribs. The rice didn’t make it to my bag.. I called and met them know that I didn’t get the rice. He told me there was nothing he could do. This is not the first time they have been utterly rude when you enter the restaurant I will not order here again.

This mold and hair in my food was not why I walked out. The ignorant cashier asked me if I was homeless. . First it was not busy at all . Even the homeless have a right to eat wherever they want
