Lucky Panda Cafe
This restaurant is located to the right (if facing Walmart) of the store next to a Medical Compounding Store. It looks secluded and quiet but once you walk in its a nice sized restaurant. We ordered our food and it was absolutely delicious! I have eaten at an Asian restaurant in this town and I got really sick! But NOT this place; they took good care of preparing our food! We were impressed with Lisa's customer service! I think she may be part owner but she was working the front despite possibly having staffing issues! This is now my "Go To" for Asian Cuisine! Did I mention the food was spectacular?? After I received my food I made her aware that I am a google reviewer! She smiled and understood why I kept snapping photos! I highly suggest this place because the food is great, the atmosphere is fine dining and the location is great! Thank you Lisa, we will be back!! This restaurant is #DJApproved!🙌🏽🙏🏽💪🏽⭐⭐⭐
We were really hoping to love Lucky Panda Cafe, but honestly, it fell pretty flat. The hot and sour soup tasted watered down and lacked real flavor. The wontons were stale. The beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and kung pao all tasted way too similar, with no real standout flavors. Even the lo mein was surprisingly bland. The steamed rice was great—but it’s steamed rice, so that’s not saying much. To be fair, the inside of the restaurant is nice and clean, and even though we did takeout, the food was packaged really well and looked fantastic. It just didn’t deliver on taste. I’m not sure if the flavor was toned down for some reason, but there wasn’t much to speak of. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.
New China
I don’t know what happened to my favorite place to eat but today was the last straw. The lady used to be so sweet but lately here bad attitude! I just paid $15 for seafood lo mein that tasted like trash lo mein! No seasons no flavor nothing! The imitation crab meat tastes weird! No salt no soy sauce no brown sauce, NOTHING! No onions no veggies no bean sprouts NOTHING! Whatever her problem is I hope she gets it together soon because personally you only got 3 chances with me and that’s if only I’m feeling generous! Today was it! No more! I won’t bother going here anymore. I hate that too. There isn’t too many “good” Chinese food places near by. Oh well, adventure awaits! Off to new places to taste 👅 shameful!
Really nice service! Very quick takeout! Large portions! Definitely a got to spot in HV Crab Rangoon is 🔥🔥🔥
Joy Chinese Cuisine
Service isn't their strong suit but whatever you order it's great. Large portions, relaxed environment and a full bar. Orange and Sweet n Sour chicken are great as well as the crab rangoons. If there is a better Asian restaurant in or near Flower Mound I've never been..
The restaurant looks nice inside, but it's service was lackluster. The waitress didn't have great knowledge and messed up the order in multiple areas. She added a full rice order instead of what came with the meal, and management refused to credit it back. Also, when substituting green peppers for the vegetables that came with the noodles, we were charged extra and again, management refused to give a credit. The food lacks flavor and was bland, and the kids didn't even want to finish the chicken lo mein. I won't be returning to this restaurant ever again. Customer service is not a priority to them.
