Wall Chinese Cafe
As of October 2024 $11.91 after tax for small fried rice. You won’t get full here. However, the rice is good but NOT worth $12 for small plate. Be careful when going here. Majority of the food is small portions
I've never gone to a Chinese takeout restaurant where I saw the bottom of the to go box before. Call me a fat ass if you want but for them to up charge me for a large and still not pack in the food. Yeah never again
Wall Chinese Cafe
We got the hot and sour soup, egg rolls and sesame chicken special with fried rice. The soup and sesame chicken were fine, pretty standard, hot and tastey. However the egg rolls were phenomenal. Crunch on the outside, moist on the inside, lots of cabbage (which I love). We spent $17 which was a great value for the amount of food we got. The staff were super friendly and informative. I think we had our food for dine in within 5 minutes of ordering. The booths were clean and neat.
Our family absolutely loves the food at The Wall. We are happy to drive more than half an hour more through Dallas traffic to eat here. The highlight has to be any of the fried chicken dishes like Sweet and Sour Chicken or Sesame Chicken. There are too many places that have thick and overwhelming batter. The Wall uses a sensible amount, letting the chicken come through better and tasting so good. Their prices are more than fair and really shine when compared to how much you get. The Wall can withstand inflation too! Definitely affordable and very much worth it! The only detractor that I can point out may also be a plus for others. The menu is old and yellow and the decor is right out of everyone's imagination about what a Chinese food restaurant should look like on the interior.
Star Chinese Cafe
I had the egg drop soup & chicken with vegetables and it was awesome! Everything was cooked just right. Friendly atmosphere with good service. You order at the front and then you get your drinks, find a table and sitter down. Then they bring it out to ya.
This is by far the best Chinese food in Ellis County. Everything is fresh and all the sauces are home made. I drive almost 40 minutes to eat here once a week and there isn't another place around as good.
Wall Chinese Cafe
Food is consistently great. Customer service is good.
Nice service, and great food.
Panda Express
Server Odalys P (as mentioned on the receipt) seemed to be in a rush. I placed an order for broccoli beef and orange chicken. However, immediately following, I asked if I could change from broccoli beef to Kung pow chicken. She advised me I could not because she already made the plate although I had just literally ordered it. I was still at the speaker! Then, to top it off, it appears to be just broccoli. There were 2 pieces of beef, MAYBE! They were out of sweet and sour and fried rice. Such a disappointment!
I had never been to a panda express before. They had a lot of different food options. The employees were awesome and explained the food to me when I asked about certain food choices. The food was hot and fresh. Also, they asked me if I wanted to sample anything. I thought that was nice since I had never been there before. I would hate to buy food and then not like it. It would've been a waste of money. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. God bless
Rice House Express Glenn Heights
Guy in the register was nice, chubby girl didn't say anything when she gave my food even after I said Thank you!... looked mad or racist. Took them at least 15 minutes for an orange chicken and rice plate. Food was the worst... $15 and had to throw it to the trash. Wanted to support local, but Panda is 100% better than this. Also got the "most spicy type" and tasted like nothing, no flavor, not even spicy at all. I didn't even try the rice after trying the chicken!
I ordered this place a little while ago on UberEats and it was delicious. I finally was able to visit the establishment. The 3 people at the front desk were very friendly. My food was made to order. It was hot, delicious and did not take too long to prepare . While I was there, a lot other families were coming in and ordering to go because they were regulars. This is Definitely my go to place for Chinese food while in Red Oak/Glenn Heights. I had the Chris's fried rice.. I should have gotten more spice but my 4 year old would have been mad but it was good regardless. The eggrolls and sweet and sour chicken is pretty delicious too.
Panda Express
Natahlie didn't want to give me more than 5 RED HOT sauce packets for my $18 order. Told her to give me more and she wouldn't until I told her I would pay extra then she said "okay". Just wanted to throw it out there and hopefully someone can tell her it's not her money and to learn to accept that the customer is always right! As you can see in the photo I still need RED HOT sauce and because of Natahlie I don't have anymore. Shame
The orange chicken too much sauce. Too sweet! And the chow mein too hard. The bowl was not fresh and hot! Would have returned if hadn't already left.
Wong's Express
My husband and I are still on our Midlo food adventure! We decided to grab dinner at Wong's Express. The restaurant was clean, and the service was prompt. Wong's has an extensive menu, so try to review it online. We dined in, but they were busy with online orders. The food came out quickly, and their portions were decent. My husband ordered fried scalloped for his appetizer and lobster fried rice and the scalloped dish for his entrees. I ordered the steamed dumplings and egg rolls for an appetizer and curry glass noodles as an entree. The only dish I didn't care for was the steamed dumplings. The dumpling was too thick for me, and I didn't like the flavor of the meat. We the curry noodles were delicious and flavorful, as well as the rice and scallop dish. We will be back!
Im so upset because we went there for the first time I got a meal for myself and chicken nuggets for my 1 yr old and ended up paying $30 for orange chicken that tasted horrible. I hate to be mean but it was alot of chicken big literally tasted like just breading barely any chicken inside
Panda Express
Went by there today as soon as they opened since I thought it be fresh and let me tell you it was disappointing they either burnt or reheated the orange chicken from the day before. I’ve never had Extra Crunchy orange chicken couldn’t even use the fork to get into it. The Chow Mein and Kung Pao were fine!
I’ve always loved this location, but i don’t know what happened today that they served me a huge raw piece of chicken. I get it when there’s little mistakes like putting more cabbage than meat but a huge raw chicken is unbelievable, that can hurt someone badly. I called to talk to you guys about it but no one is answering and keep hanging up.
Panda Express
Drive through experience was very unpleasant. Was told to park for my order since it would take 2-5 minutes for the teriyaki chicken but ended up being 18 minutes. If they had told me I would have changed my order instead.
If the store is near closing and the food is not of good standard just close!!!! Don’t sell us dried out, spoil tasting food, I’m tired and was looking forward to not cooking and enjoying a meal!! Total Disappointment!!!
