Che Hong Kong 0

Che Hong Kong

The only good thing about Che Hong Kong is the variety of Che (desserts) they offer, along with their attractive "buy 5, get 1 free" deal. If you're a fan of sweet treats, this is definitely a perk worth noting. However, I strongly advise against trying their $10 lunch option. The food not only lacked flavor but also seemed old and unappetizing. It was disappointing and not worth the price. Stick to the desserts, as that's where they seem to excel.

Updated 6/16/24 Texas 2024: Destination #8: General description: This place specializes in assorted Vietnamese chè and common homestyle comfort food and snacks. Highlights: The guy owner once told me years ago that his family in Vietnam has been cooking and selling chè for generations. He uses his mom's family secret recipe. I have tasted many homemade versions and versions from different Vietnamese dessert shops, but this place makes it best. This Vietnamese dessert shop has been my family's favorite place to buy chè for almost two decades now. It's all about the texture of the glutinous rice, consistency of cassava and tapioca, and the coconut milk is always fresh since they only make enough for the day. Recommendations: 1. Chè Trôi Nước- The uniqueness about this chè at this place is that the owner uses his mom's family secret recipe to make the glutinous rice to remain soft even after refrigerating. Reheat for one minute and it will be like the texture when you first bought it. Other places I have tried will have a hard texture that just doesn't taste good once it's been chilled and reheated. 2. Chè Bà Ba - coconut milk syrup with tapioca pearls, taro, cassava, and yellow sweet potato 3. My kids like the flavorful sweet and savory marinated chicken quarters. The meat was moist and tender and marinated well. 4. Canh chua gà is Vietnamese sweet and sour tamarind soup with chicken has the traditional canh chua flavor with a little twist of substituting fish with dark meat chicken 5. The spicy lemongrass with chili oil fried tofu made from scratch is worth trying. I love it. 6. Chè chuối - My mama friend and her daughter love the chè chuối, Vietnamese tapioca pudding with Thai Namwah bananas and coconut milk. 7. Chè Hột É - Basil seed chè with poontalai seeds is my daughter's favorite chè here Cons: 1. This shop only accepts cash. 2. My nose did not like the smell the first moment I stepped into the food court of Hong Kong market.

I‘ve tried some rice plates and they are very delicious. the price is affordable and the waiters are alway with excellent service attitude. The coffee with condensed milk is amazing!!! I‘ve heard of Vietnamese coffe for a long time. And it really doesn't disappoint me. Besides those, I also enjoyed the documentary of Vietnamese street food a lot. Please keep it.

My pho was delicious! Great service y lots of choices on the menu. The restaurant is clean n wait staff is very friendly.

Talk about options! The menu for this restaurant is 32 pages. So, oodles of options for food lovers are available. The portions are massive, so come hungry. Their food did not disappoint, it was delicious! We did have to remind our wait staff several times about one of our dishes that had not been brought out with the other plates. Once that dish was served, everyone in our party was happily enjoying their meal.

I remember when Bistro B was a small egg roll shop attached to the Hong Kong Market. The growth of this place is well-deserved. The service is superb, food is fresh and extremely tasty, and the atmosphere is roomy, bright, and comfortable. This Garland/Dallas border creates a mixing pot of people from every walk of life and ethnicity. Everyone is welcoming and theyre open til midnight.

Pan Asian Kitchen & Noodle 0

Pan Asian Kitchen & Noodle

We visited for the first time tonight, it was excellent. The hot and sour soup was excellent as were the egg roll and spring roll. The pad thai was sweeter than my partner preferred, but very good. The crispy beef was very good, but slightly less spicy than expected. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The physical environment was comfortable, but not quite as cozy as I would hope. It is a welcome addition to this part of town. While not inexpensive, prices were very reasonable. We'll be back. Recommended.

Recently opened. The food is definitely delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The sauces of the meals are home made!! Start with sake and appetizers and then choose from Korean, Chinese and Pan Asian for your main dish. The service deserves six stars!! Recommended!!!

tried this restaurant for lunch for the first time and i am leaving happily impressed. i came craving drunken noodles so i got the pad see ew. the flavors were so good and the lunch special is so worth it for the portion. we got crab rangoons and egg rolls as an appetizer they were pretty good, but the star of the show was the meal. i also got a thai boba tea and it was amazing. my husband got his water refilled like 8 times without question, the service is spectacular and quick, we did visit at a slow time of the day. overall would defiantly recommend this place should be more popular!

This place is very good. We had chicken pot stickers, spicy tom yum with shrimp and beef pad kee mow. Spices were perfect. It was ordered as take out. When I came to pick it up, I added the sticky mango rice. The lady was very nice and they had it ready very quickly. We eat Thai food frequently and are lucky that we tried this place.

Moon Wok

I had a craving chicken fried rice so I stopped in Moon Wok. The atmosphere or vibe seems a little off, but the value, quality, and portion size quickly make up for it. I ordered the lunch special chicken fried rice that included an egg roll. I believe the price was right around $10. I was shocked on how much food came out on the plate. I was only able to eat about half of the rice and the egg roll. Took home enough for lunch the next day. The menu is simple and includes all of the expected Chinese classics. Counter service was simple and quick. My meal was prepared on order and served hot and fresh in just a few minutes. Definitely adding this place to my lunch rotation.

I recently moved & this was the 2nd Chinese food I tried. It tastes way better than the fortune house restaurant I tried. I got the chicken & broccoli from here, 9/10

Timings 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday closed. The food portions are nice and the place is very clean. The servers are very professional and gave very good service. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place for Indo Chinese food.

Authentic Chinese food! It was a little on the sweeter side for us, but overall decent food! We were told medium is spicy, but next time will probably ask for a higher spice level. Few things to consider - the restaurant has a max occupancy of 48 people. You may encounter a wait, especially during the weekend. We encounter long wait time. Plan ahead. I wish we ordered the noodles… I noticed everyone ordered it. The hot and sour soup was on point. Very kind staff. Great try for halal restaurant!

Was looking for Pho 95 but found this place instead. Staff were very friendly and explained the dishes. Food was very delicious and very economical. I tried the beef broth no noodles and shrimp spring rolls. It was good. My kids orders Chicken broth and fried eggs rolls and loved it. They served free dessert. We were very full so we didn’t try it. Place is clean. Restroom is spacious but needed some TLC.

A popular Việt restaurant in Richardson, TX in a spacious shopping place. It is known for complementary sweet dessert aka chè. In a station on the left side, there are many flavors to choose from both cold and hot. It is so popular that during peak time, each guest is limited to two flavors. Foods are very tasty. Attentive staffs to take care of guests.

Hiep Phong BBQ

Went there yesterday for some Thanksgiving roasted porks. Terrible food handling. All employees handle the food with bare hands. The old man chops the meats and use his bare hands putting the meats into the containers while another man wiped his hands to a dirty towel and then use those hands to touch the meats. Never come back again. Gross!

We purchase roasted duck and roasted pork here before. It was great. This review is for the recent purchase; the meat was old and roasted but it does not make the old meat taste go away. We ended up throwing out all the meat and only eat the veggie we stir fried with.
