Town East Asian Buffet
Is it open yet? How long will it be open?
Wish we had an opening date!!!!
Sakhuu Thai (Richardson Location)
Tasty drinks and please try their roti ice cream dessert!!!! The food is good. They have things that are different and not commonly found at other Thai restaurants. The place is small and cozy. Service is usually good ( a little hiccup here and there tonight). Love this little gem đ
Hands down! Iâm native Thai and I vouched for this place. The taste and presentation of the dishes, the ambience, and service are truly outstanding.
Hungry Belly
This place never disappoints! Their Naruto Roll is hands down the best fried roll Iâve ever hadâperfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and something I canât stop coming back for. I also tried one of their bento boxes, and it was simply delicious. Everything was fresh, well-portioned, and full of flavor, making it a great choice if you want to try a little bit of everything. And of course, their shrimp tempura was just as amazingâlight, crispy, and cooked just right. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphereâdefinitely a spot worth visiting!
Definitely a MUST TRY spot - small parking lot - big tasty food portions - good service - atmosphere is fine, pretty close together tables, etc. A TON of TO GO and PICKUP orders - so itâs very popular. The food was a tad on the salty side for me - but itâs also part of some of the choices I made - like the Spam and adding sauces to items. But portions are large and they have a SUPER awesome Happy Hour MenuâŠtried the cold sake (the hot sake would have been better) but it was just okay. The spam was super salty for my taste so I could only eat one piece. The Pork Katsu Bento Box was great - a little variety of different items to try and it was super tasty!
Asian Mint
Iâve eaten at this location for several years and on this occasion, Asian Mint delivered a 5-star experience. The pad Thai chicken wings were full of flavor. The pad kee mow was also excellent. The food felt fresh. Iâve always received excellent service. Iâve watched the atmosphere evolve from a somewhat sterile feeling environment to its current state, which feels more inviting and interesting. Iâve eaten at their other locations and I prefer the intimacy and relative quietness of this spot.
The duck dish I had was delicious. This restaurant is generally reliable for good Thai food and service. The food came out fast and everyone enjoyed it. One concern was that the employee sitting near the kitchen seemed sick, coughing and sniffling, while rolling silverware into napkins. Please, if someone is sick, send them home.
WaiWai Kitchen
Ordered green curry with tofu ( fried), and the tulip dumplings ( fried). Both were absolutely delicious. Fresh vegetables in a a creamy green curry sauce. Wonderful sized portions, great price point.
Iâve been wanting to try this place and finally tried it today. The fried spring rolls were SOOO GOOD, fried to perfection and the sauce was tasty. I will be ordering again.
Afrah Mediterranean Restaurant and Pastries
Afrah Restaurant is a true gem! The authentic Mediterranean flavors are unmatched, with each dish prepared to perfection. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from flavorful kebabs to refreshing hummus and tabbouleh. The highlight for me was the fresh, warm pita bread that pairs perfectly with their creamy dips. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to recommend the best dishes. If you're craving an authentic and satisfying Mediterranean meal, Afrah is the place to go. Highly recommended!
Got the chicken shawarma and gyro wrap. Chicken was dry and the onions in the gyro were cut large, which I thought could be better. Fries were good and the ice cream was tasty. Service was also good, just wish our mains were better.
THE KOI WAY
Ok, I'm a fried rice HATER. But oh my goodness, you must try NASI GORENG! (Forgot to take pics.) It's so good â we should call it the best fried rice dish in the world. Literally eye-opening. I went back the next day to try Rendang, and the beef just melted in my mouth. Soooo goodđ. I think I also ordered Nasi Padang..? Anyway, it comes with soup, but they ran out of the usual and gave us some random soup... that soup was not my cup of tea, but wow, the fried chicken was amazing. Give this place a tryâyou will not regret it!
This was our first time trying this place and we were not disappointed in any way. Everything we ordered was boasting with flavor. We had numerous dishes: - the chicken soup was phenomenal; it was such a comforting, whole hearty soup with depths of flavor - the fried chicken was so crispy, but remained incredibly juicy - the turmeric rice was slightly sweet, but paired so well with the tender beef that was savory and velvety - the egg drop soup was balanced and perfect - the chicken skewer was simple, but had crazy flavor and smelled amazing - the fried rice and sesame chicken were such a hit, we had to order another round This place is legit. Using family owned recipes, each dish had immense flavor, touching every side of your palette and we will be returning!
Phá» BÄng Restaurant
The pho is incredibly flavorful, with a rich broth and fresh ingredients. The spring rolls are a must-try, too. The service is friendly and attentive. If youâre craving genuine Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
August 2024 We havenât been back for a long time. This is still one of best Pho around this area. Beef broth is smooth snd flavorful, canât get enough. Great grilled pork plate as well. I believe the sliced pork was cooked to order. The only down side is the corridor to the bath room is heavy congested and dark. It was the store room for their dry goods. Storage space is the struggle with most restaurants in this area. I waited in the corridor to ensure my young daughter is safe visiting the girls room. If you can overlook that, this is a good place to have a great pho and Vietnamese food. My rating as 5 is very satisfied. Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentive and Courteous 4/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Will I revisit? Yes Will I returned? Yes.
Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar
The food was phenomenal and the service even more so. Our waitress Roe took care of us from the moment we sat down and continued to provide 10 out of 10 service. Food was exceptional! Highly recommend coming on Sundays to try the smoked ribs. All the meat is falling off the bone, spiced and cooked to perfection. This place continues to lead with innovation in the Dallas food scene! Thank you to this team for providing such a nice Sunday dinner for my family
Loro is a fantastic spot for comfort food! We visited on a Monday afternoon around 3 PM, and it was very quiet, but I can see how it would be a popular weekend destination. The food was excellentâmy favorite was the tofu rice ball, which I highly recommend. The flavors were rich, and everything was well-prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Iâll definitely be coming back again!
Genghis Grill
Decent Food, But Service and Maintenance Need Serious Attention I recently visited Genghis Grill, which follows a âbuild your own bowlâ concept similar to Flat Top Grill (both owned by the same company). While the food was decent, the serviceâespecially from one key staff memberâand the lack of maintenance left a lot to be desired. The Food: The food is decent, not great. The âbuild your own bowlâ idea is fun, offering a variety of proteins, vegetables, and sauces to choose from. Be careful with the hot saucesâthey can make your bowl extremely spicy very quickly. Portion sizes are generous; even the largest bowl, which looks small when empty, ends up being quite big once filled and cooked. The Service: The main issue was the front-of-house experience, specifically with the gentleman managing the greeting and payment process. He seemed to be in his own world, acting as though what he was doing was fine, but it was clear he didnât understand customer service. When I mentioned it was my first visit, his explanation of how the process worked felt minimal and dismissive, almost like I was supposed to figure it out myself. He spent a lot of time walking around aimlessly or staring at his phone while customers waited for assistance. For example, a family with a stroller came in, and instead of approaching to help them, he called out to them from across the room, leaving them looking confused. When I paid for my meal, he disappeared immediately afterward without so much as a âthank youâ or âhave a good day.â Itâs a small gesture, but it mattersâitâs the last impression you leave with your customers. On top of all this, his hygiene was concerning, as he coughed openly multiple times without covering his mouth. It felt like he thought he was doing everything right but missed the mark entirely on providing a welcoming and professional customer experience. The Maintenance: The restaurant itself also had noticeable issues. The outdoor door was broken, the urinal in the restroom wasnât working, and the overall upkeep felt neglected. It gave the impression that the place isnât being managed properly. Final Thoughts: The food and concept are solid if you enjoy the Flat Top Grill style of dining. However, this location is held back by poor service and a lack of attention to basic maintenance. With better staff training and some much-needed repairs, it could be a great spot. For now, though, itâs hard to recommend.
Melinda was our server and she was so attentive and kind! The service was excellent, the food delicious, and everything came out in a timely manner, we will definitely be back :)
Rice House Express
I've ordered from this place many times, and each time it slaps so good! I love their food, especially their crab ragoons!!! Love the price and the SIZE!! So worth it and always hot and fresh everytime!! Their fried shrimp is also so good especially with that sweet and sour sauce! đ© Y'all get ya some of their food! Thank you Rice House Express!! đ
The lady who helped me and my coworker was a sweetheart. She could tell we hadn't been there before and talked us through the menu. The food was really good and came out fairly quick. Generous portions. Even gave us a sample of their specialty fried rice that was fantastic. If I'm near there, I'd definitely go back.
DaLat Vietnamese Restaurant and Bar
Fabulous experience at DaLat. The food was extraordinary. Shawn was a brilliant host. The portions are perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. I was excited to see if they'd have the karaoke but we left before I saw it. We'll be back if we're in Dallas again.
The food is delicious, but the service is where this restaurant shines. We had a large party and everything went smoothly. From ordering to food delivery to checks. Not one misstep. I, too, have done a lot of pick ups for food delivery here and have never had an issue or long wait time. This little gem knows what they're doing in food service and it shows.
