Egg Roll Express
The food is spot on! This really works for a good lunch and may work for a quick, simple dinner. The garlic sauce is simply amazing... I may have found a new addiction. I ended up putting it on everything - the rice, my spring roll, and of course my chicken and vegetables. I even made sure to save the leftover sauce and took it home just to find something, anything, to use it on (drool). The service was great as well - friendly and beyond helpful. We asked for a knife, and there were none out, but that did not deter them from finding us one... they simply had not opened a new box of them yet, but they didn't stop looking for one even after I said not to worry about it. That, my friends, is customer care. We ate outside on the picnic table and enjoyed the lunchtime weather, which paired perfectly with our meal. We will most certainly be returning. If you are looking for that perfect balance between a true, sit-down, table service Asian restaurant and the (not so good) fast food (bleh) "Chinese" food places, you absolutely can not go wrong with an order from Egg Roll Express.
I ordered from Egg Roll Express on Parmer in Austin recently and had a mixed experience. The delivery guy, Edgar with Favor, was awesome. Despite hitting some traffic and arriving later than expected, our food was still surprisingly warm. The shrimp egg rolls were great as usual, but the real disappointment came with the fried rice. It was tasty until I discovered pieces of eggshell in it. That was quite off-putting, and it left me feeling unsatisfied. I hope they pay more attention to food quality in the future because finding eggshells in your meal can be a real turn-off. Despite the hiccup with the fried rice, I appreciate Edgar's excellent delivery service. Hopefully, Egg Roll Express can improve their food quality, as I'd like to get what I paid for and continue to be a customer.
Twin Panda
When you are in Austin, please please come here if you are craving for Indonesian food. We came here twice in our 5 days visit here. We love ❤️ their Nasi Padang, chicken noodle ( Bakmi Ayam), Nasi Goreng , Sop Buntut ( Oxtail soup) , Ayam Kalasan ( Marinated Chicken) . They really nailed their spices, so delicious and tasted like food back home. We are so happy 😃 that we came here and leave with our tummy stuffed and happy.
Came for lunch and left full and happy. Quick friendly service. Food was out in no time. Food was super duper good
Wok Togo
Excellent food for the prices! Ive had to update my ratings. I think anyone looking for some great tasty Chinese food to-go will find they do NOT disappoint. This is not really a sit-down restaurant, but they have added some tables and chairs. The General Tso chicken is prob THE BEST I've ever ever had, and it's to go!!!! The chicken is crispy under the sauce and is not soggy. It is sooooo good!! The sesame chicken is one of my go-to dishes for lunch time. The beef and broccoli is always good and one of my go-to dishes. The black pepper steak is pretty much the same as the beef and broccoli but with bell peppers and onions, which I prefer. You have the option of getting white rice or Fried rice with your dishes, its not full of flavor, but it was not oily either, so I prefer that. The white flat noodles, think it was Pad ke mao, and it was very tasty with a little heat. My new fav hole in the wall, I would definitely come back again. Also, the lunch time specials are really good deals, u get bang for your buck!!Hope you guys have the same experience.
I grew up on Chinese food from a place off Braker called Twin Lion. For 20+ years, I ate there and had my staple dishes. I've slowly moved further and further north, which had that food out out reach. I tried various Chinese food places in Cedar Park/Leander area, but none of them ever hit the same. One day, WokToGo popped up on my Door Dash. My youngest and wife wanted beef with broccoli and I went with my safe choice of sesame chicken. First bite, I thought... "this is wonderful chicken!?" a dish I enjoyed previously. My wife and son loved the beef with broccoli, it had a good flavor, wasn't watery. I was relieved to finally have a Chinese food place I could get regularly and add to our rotation. Owner and staff were super friendly, they now know it's me when I order everytime. Is this "traditional" Chinese food? Not really. But it is absolutely tasty "American Chinese food".
Panda Express
For fast food, this Panda Express serves up fast and pretty tasty “Chinese” food. They offered few healthy options such as Chicken and mushrooms, grilled chicken and few of the vegetables options. The crews seem fast, friendly and efficient. 👍
Bad service with app. I have ordered from this location many times. I do not appreciate having to wait more than a week to have my order issue resolved. Their app customer service is complicated and slow. Panda = Poor Quality, Bad Customer Service. No shrimp in my plate.
