888 Chinese Restaurant
First time trying this place today. Everything was really good. I ordered the triple delight clay bowl. Super hot and fresh. So hot it was burning my mouth! Wonderful spice and the vegetables were so good. I definitely want to return. I highly recommend this dish along with the plum wine that was amazing as well.
Ordered to go. The soup smelled horrible. The chicken wasn’t spicy at all but the flavor wasn’t good at all for any of it- the rice, general Tao’s chicken is the crab puff. I’ll never eat there again!
Hong Kong Cafe
The staff were very friendly. The Cafe was spotless. Clean restrooms. We ordered General Tso's chicken and Sweet n Sour chicken and 2 egg rolls. $30, to me, was quite steep. While none of the food was bad, all of it lacked in bold flavor. It's like they were scared of over doing it, so they left it on the not so tasty side. I wouldn't say bland but, close. I made some sauce with soy, rice vinegar and Sesame oil at home. Fixed my Tso's right up. The food portions above par. Tomorrow will make the 3rd night of chicken. Egg roll and fried rice are gone. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a friendly staff, clean place and quiet atmosphere. Tho, I would recommend asking for extra flavoring. By the way. They give you packets of duck sauce. I had never had any. I thought it had duck in it. I gave it a try. Phenomenal! I will be buying me a bottle on my next grocery run! Oh. I stole a few pieces of my Mom's sweet n sour chicken. 😁
Glad I stopped here! Good food and even greater service! I had their spicy garlic shrimp, veggie roll and they’ve got Vietnamese iced coffee! ☕️ 5 Stars
Dumpling Time
I love this place! Best dumplings and bao in the area! The service is always fast, friendly and accommodating... I tend to order a lot of different things off the menu, which takes up a lot of real estate on the table... they were fast to clear plates as we emptied them... this is the first time I was able to take pictures and label them for review (only 2 of us were dining)... I highly suggest Dumpling Time, especially if you like variety.... and of course... GREAT FOOD!
The food was really good. These are some of the best pork boa I have had.
Hibachi Grill & Buffet Restaurant
Pretty good place. I come here everytime I drive through Houston. The togos are only 5.99 a pound as long as no seafood. Other places charge 6.99 a pound. Just wish they had more hibachi options. But 5 stars all around. This Togo plate was only $15
Food was ok but it definitely could've been fresher. Seats have tears and rips on them and just the overall vibe is meh. Nothing wow. It's about average price but they do have a wide variety of food and it was all good just think it could've been more fresh. Plenty of parking here
Top Tea Restaurant
I searched up a Vietnamese restaurant near me and I chose this one for having 4.8 stars and good reviews. But after going to this restaurant, it was good service Don’t get me wrong, but the food did not mean my expectations and to be honest for Two People It was really expensive . I paid almost 60$ for food I didn’t eat I’m really Disappointed . I would Definitely go back for my money if I could but it close , pork was so dry and hard a a rock only got one sauce per plate and sauce didn’t taste like nothing ,
This place is every bit amazing, great food and fun games while you wait for food and even after you eat.. friendly staff amazing atmosphere for date night..
Wok D'Lite
My sister went to wok d’ lite where she normally goes every once in a while for Chinese food, it just happened today as she was eating it she noticed a maggot in her food. A FREAKING MAGGOT in the gravy mix. She thought it tasted funny because it was bland but nope! It was old!!! DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE!! Very gross!! STAY SAFE OUT HERE! Health is wealth!!!
Food taste has declined over the years. I've always gone with my family. I stopped going for a few months, but i was just there 2 weeks ago and taste is not there anymore. Vegetable lo mein was bland and over cooked.
Noodle Master
I love Noodle Master 🍜 The food is always delicious, the service is amazing and the price is reasonable. This is one place my family and I come to when we want delicious and fulfilling food.
This is some of the best chinesr food in baytown. This is my go-to place for general tso chicken egg rolls are also amazing
Pineapple Xpress Chinese Cafe
Decided to have lunch with my wife here and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the hunian beef and the shrimp lo mein. The beef was tender and the sauce rich in flavor with a very manageable heat the side of fried rice was what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The shrimp lo mean was done perfectly. Noodle were soft but enough bite for a good texture. The shrimp was cooked well and not over done. The staff was friendly and responsive to request. I would recommend you try this place out if you want chines food that is good and quick.
First time trying this spot and was really surprised at the menu and the food that we ordered. Still has that old jack in the box vibe to it. But overall good food, good service.
Panda Express
It was our first time trying Panda Express, and let me tell you… Complete disappointment! If you want to choke, eat their noodles that have no flavor and is dry af. The girl that took our order in the drive through seemed very irritated just because we’re asking questions… All that being said we won’t look y’all’s direction AGAIN… If y’all want a really good Chinese food to eat at go to General Wok on Alexander! Their food is full of flavor and they’re not schiesty on the amount of meat they give you.. If we were on that side of town, we would’ve just went there. Oh and these “spring rolls” they have at Panda Express is a effing joke. Lmao
I will definitely return because the food was delicious, and the manager, Krystal, was very helpful and patient. She is friendly, always so sweet, and I would come back just because of her kindness and the food.
General Wok
Avoid this place! The staff is rude, the “fried rice” had no eggs or vegetables, the chicken was chewy, and everything lacked flavor. Don’t waste your time here!
Utterly disgusting. Don’t waste your money. Parking lot needs to be redone , leaks in the ceiling . No welcoming presence.
