New York Lovers Chinese Restaurant
Terrible to say the least. Dry Beef in the fried rice. Little tiny, beef Jerky like pieces of meat for the Boneless spare ribs. Dry, dry, dry. Also the lady at the front counter was playing in her daughters hair in the kitchen. She's kind of rude too. When I lived out there a few years ago this food was superb. Now, well let's say the Chef has left the building and the little 7 year old is running the show!! Don't waste your time!! Terrible!!!
It's really good, but they'll nickel and dime you to death. They even charge extra for a little bitty teeny tiny container of Chinese hot oil. The prices are in line with others in the area, so they should be able to absorb the cost of a spicy food enhancement into the prices of the dishes. Oh, and I'm not sure when, but they are apparently family-owned and operated and they take an entire month off each year to vacation. Must be nice! Another thing of note is they put brussel sprouts in their chicken fried rice. And not just a little that you can pick out if you don't like it, it breaks off and blends in with the rice and it's a nightmare. But if you order it without brussel sprouts, it's really good.
Lucky House
Tasty even as take-out. But size could be larger for the price. But there is inflation right now. And there is a goid amount of meats on the combo fried rice & pad see-ew we ordered. Full of good flavor that I expect of good Asian restaurants. We didn’t dine in but ordered to-go in person. Spacious & clean restaurant. Nice staff that was quick to give us our order. It wasn’t rush hour.
My wife and I went late in the evening on Super Bowl Sunday as other places were busy. This was our first time here. The place was empty. The customer service was extremely attentive. Miso and the other soups are free. Made fresh to order, hot and delicious! A must try!
Bowl and Chopstix
Walked in and ordered a large order. They were professional and accommodating to what I needed. Got home, and the food was hot 🔥. General Tsos flavor is great, orange chicken was great, my wife loved the chicken and string beans as well. Dumpling sauce is great, too. This is a solid place for chinese food
I love the food here!!❤️ I would recommend the chicken fried rice with their spicy sauce this was my first time trying their chicken soup with noodles and I love it!! The atmosphere is very calm ✨
Tian An Men Square Wok & Grill
Tried the beef and broccoli, crab Rangoons, and chicken wings tonight and everything was so delicious. My boyfriend has been having it for the last 10-15 years at least and says it still tastes the exact same. What a compliment. Thanks for the enjoyable meal :)
Decided to stop by after watching an HS football game, and this place did not disappoint. Dishes were made to order and very flavourful and juicy. Ordered orange chicken with friend rice along with general tso chicken with fried rice.
P.F. Chang's
12/14/24: Party of 12 had a reservation on the patio to celebrate my stepdaughter's graduation from college. The table was set nicely, and there were plenty of space heaters available. John, the manager greeted us and said that the space heaters were adjustable and could be tailored to our comfort. Jimmy was our host, and he was AWESOME! It took a team effort to bring our food out, and there were zero issues with accuracy. Our orders arrived around the same time, and Jimmy was constantly checking on us. He made my stepdaughter feel special and that made our dinner even more memorable. We appreciate John, Jimmy and the rest of the staff that pitched in. Thank you!
I ordered curbside pickup and it was easy. Everything in my order was correct and yummy! We had Singapore noodles regular and one gluten free noodles (both good). And the gluten free chocolate cake is so good! Comes with a raspberry topping and ice cream. And the lettuce wraps are good. Normally don’t like those other places but here very good.
Mabo Chinese Food
Surprised to find they have a Chinese-Korean food menu. This is not just a Chinese takeout restaurant but it offers Chinese-Korean style food like jjampong and jajangmyeon and Chinese-Korean style sweet and sour pork. We order the 3 most popular Chinese-Korean dishes and the food was good. Glad there is a good Chinese Korean style restaurant in Allen.
It was an excellent experience. The owner was very welcoming, attentive and even suggested a plate that he thought I would enjoy better, after I requested to abstain from using a spicy confident.
Panda Express
This place always manages to mess up your order. Please don't bother trying to call them to complain because their phone system will never allow you to talk to a real person. When you try to go inside to tell them what is wrong with your food, then all of a sudden they pretend to not speak English. It's funny how they understood you perfectly fine when they took your order. Don't waste your money at this place.
I came here because it's one of my kids favorite places to eat. I don't eat here often because items I'd like to order or try are often not available. The held true with this visit. There was a chicken item, marked as a healthier option and I was told 15 minutes. After my daughter and I ate the entree still hadn't been added. I ordered half noodles and half fried rice. The rice was ok but my noodles were hard and dry. My chicken entre was the Honey Sesame Chicken Breast which looked better than it tasted. My daughter ordered the orange chicken and was happy.
Panda Express
The food at the Allen location is great. Though they prioritize drive thru over in person customers. Took about 8 minutes until anyone even acknowledged us. Clean place.
First off let me say that the only reason why I gave the food a three out of five is mainly because it's a little on the dry side, and one of the chicken entrees I purchased was a little bland with no flavor. I ended up having to put some of the teriyaki sauce on it. The rest of the food was pretty decent and flavorful enough, but my rice was a little hard. Everything you see here plus two drinks cost a little over 29.00. definitely not worth the price. They layer on a huge amount of either rice or chow mein to make it seem like it's a lot of food. Meanwhile the actual entrees are pretty tiny. The only thing that was delicious enough to call it five stars was the watermelon drink refresher. It was just the right amount of sweetness with a lot of delicious flavor. I felt like I was chugging it with how much I liked it. I definitely recommend the refreshers and the teas. The ladies and gentlemen behind the counter were really kind and helped us a lot. Overall I'll give the establishment a four with the food being a three. I think if the portions were a little larger minus the rice and chow mein I think it would be worth it.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
Went and got take out at Pei Wei. It's been a long time since I've eaten at Pei Wei and never at this location. Restaurant was clean and food was prepared fresh. After picking it up I had to stop for gas but when I got home and took the food out it was actually steaming hot! It tasted really good and I feel like the portion size was great. I did pay extra for the noodles rather than the rice. I will ask for extra sauce next time because there were so many noodles they were a little dry. I will be back.
Pie Wei is always consistent with their quality of food. It is not great, just mediocre, but good for Asian Fusio fast food. I like the new menu options. The firecracker chicken is tasty with a little kick to it. The service has gotten better under the new management.
