I am a repeat customer and usually each experience is amazing. this particular experience i was quite disappointed with the quality of the sesame chicken I was served last night. instead of the typical fried hard breading on the chicken I was given the spongey light breading used for the sweet and sour chicken. it was soggy and mushy and not appetizing. I was disappointed and do expect better from this restaurant. wish I didn’t have to write this review

The general Taos was delicious! The fried rice was fresh and flavorful. The food was ready really fast and they were open even during the day it snowed.

I have learned there is not a perfect Chinese restaurant… But if they have decent food (they do), an interesting atmosphere (dated, but cozy), and good service (they do in the form of a delightful manager/owner, “Jenni” I believe), you can have a surprisingly good experience. I picked up dinner tonight and we had: - Pork Egg Foo Young. Very tasty. The egg was breaded and cooked a little more than we are used to and the take out was drenched in the sauce. I normally prefer the sauce on the side, but this version just worked for us this time. - Garlic Chicken. Best of the two items in my opinion. Simple dish with moderate garlic, and not overcooked onions, celery, and mushrooms. - Basic fried rice. Simple and cooked about right. I added some of the Egg Foo Young sauce to add a nice flavor. - Egg Rolls. I ate mine too fast to deconstruct it for me to comment on… other than it had some shrimp in the mix. One note, I use mustard on my egg rolls, and while the little packets looked the same as those from other restaurants, these had slightly little more heat (which I liked). The “experience” was swayed greatly by a short but pleasant discussion about China and places “Jenni” and I had both visited. It felt like I had met a new neighbor and friend. We will return and eat-in at some point.

I ordered pick up and my rice tasted like burnt oil and I also got fried shrimp that was overly fried couldn’t even bite the fried shell and it tasted the same as the rice like super old burnt oil. I also got a side of fries that were all 50/50 half burnt half raw. Total waste of money.

I recently dined at Michiru Asian Cuisine and ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken. It was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and freshness from the basil. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and the portion size was generous. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for high-quality Asian cuisine, Michiru is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from their menu!

This is my second time here and I love this quick service spot. They are efficient and delicious. The first time I got the Chicken Hibachi and loved almost everything down to the packaging and packing. They took the time to cut out cardboard to size of the plates so stacking items wouldn’t collapse. They also have great portion sizes/containers in my opinion. I personally loved having the vegetables in the bigger side and the chicken in the slightly smaller side. I will say the yum yum sauce was not to my liking as it differs from your typical yum yum sauce flavor but my sister loved it. Got the fried rice instead of white rice and it was just fried rice. No egg or veggies. No complaints, just a heads up in case you are expecting a little more to it. Currently immensely enjoying the egg drop soup. The consistency is slightly thinner than some other places, which to me is fantastic. The eggs ribbons even have air bubbles in them letting you know they are thin and airy. The perfect bowl of egg drop soup.

The owner was super nice! We told her we were in town for a wedding and she set us up with lots of napkins and plates for our hotel stay. The shrimp egg rolls and chicken wings were delicious and seasoned great! My daughter really enjoyed her chicken and broccoli and crab sticks. Very reasonably priced!

Great food for a great price. The egg rolls were thick and crunchy, and the ribs had great flavor. Owners were very friendly and food was ready quickly. Definitely more of a takeout place than dine in. I will definitely be coming back!

Great customer service, friendly staff, attentive, clean! Darlene was friendly!

The family deal was awesome!! _ adults and had lots of leftovers. The rice was a little plain though. They could go better. But you HAVE to try the pomegranate pineapple drink. Oh my God 10 stars it was amazing!!!

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It tastes like it was frozen then fried. Chicken was tough and rubbery. Also I asked for a side of onions and bell peppers so that I can put it in my sauce. She said that she couldn’t sell it to me because it did come in the sauce. Even though they have bell peppers and onions in the restaurant to add to other dishes. I offered to pay extra but to not avail. The rice was clumpy and old. Will never return to this place.

The portions r humungous, but the chicken platter I got had alot if hard pieces in it if it wasn't for that they'd have got 5 stars. The lady took my order was very nice. The size I got was large an both containers were full all the way before I ate it of course.

Under normal circumstances, I would have checked the reviews before ordering here—unfortunately, that was not the case. The food was extremely disappointing. The beef and broccoli lacked flavor and had minimal sauce, making it unappetizing. I couldn’t stomach it. My mother ordered shrimp fried rice, but the rice was overly sticky and poorly prepared. Additionally, the vegetable fried rice had an unpleasant taste, likely due to old cooking oil. The egg rolls were overcooked, adding to our dissatisfaction. The only redeeming item was the General Tso’s chicken, which had some flavor but was unfortunately dry. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and a complete waste of money. I’m throwing the rest in the garbage as I wouldn’t even give it to my dog.

Do I need to share more? Or get the idea? This was in my food. And the response I got was “looks like it was in the broccoli” only would give me refund for the one container I had with me as the others were at home. I asked how do I know if it’s not in the other ones. “Well you didn’t bring it” no duh I was on my way home from work and ONLY brought this container. Didn’t even apologize or anything. So gross that yall don’t clean your food and know about it!

Chicken was either hard as a rock or very mushy.Rice had a chemical taste, wasnt able to eat any of it. Ordered here because our usual place was closed.

The chicken was dry and over done. The Rice was supposed to be fried Rice not yellow steamed Rice. Then the customer service was horrible inside the store with discrimination involved, I shouldn’t have to be rushed with horrible food if I’m paying like everyone else. Overall I would give this restaurant a 0 out of 5 stars if it was possible

Shrimp toast was so overcooked I could barely bite through it it was like a hockey puck. When I returned it and asked them to recook it they told me that it had already been cooked and that was the way it came. I will post a picture and let you all decide Updated stars because they refunded my money after the second time I went in there and showed them that they were hard as hockey pucks. But they didn't like it

Ordered takeout. Only downside is they don't deliver and delivery from doordash or grubhub is much more expensive. The food is great. We ordered chicken on a stick, fried dumplings, shrimp egg foo young, fried chicken wings and the double delight with garlic sauce. I'll update my review if the double delight passes my GD glucose test later 🥴❤️ edit, it passed my glucose test🫶 (I had 3 chicken on stick & about 1/3 of the double delight and was at 116 an hr after 💪)

This is the only Chinese place I will eat from. It’s always been delicious and if I had a problem. There was never any issue with them being nice and talking to me.

Thanks to Google Maps I found this Chinese restaurant because I am not from the area. Date of visit was Wednesday November 13th 2024. I had the chicken chow mein and it was fresh, made to order, and very hot. I highly recommend this fine restaurant.

This seems to be a take out spot but they do have a couple of tables that allow dining in. I enjoyed their Happy Family but switched the sauce from a brown to white. The only reason I can't do five stars is the lack of space for dining in and limited drink selection. This probably won't be an issue if you're local and do take out. But, if you're from out of town be aware.

Best Chinese in the area. We’ve been coming here for years and will only come here. Our favorites are the chicken & broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and the vegetable egg rolls.

Was very surprised at how good the food was at King Chef. I'm pretty sure everything is made to order, and not just sitting in a pan in the back. My food tasted very fresh, very good, very hot, and plenty of it. General Tso combo with soup is really good. If you love standard Chinese food, be prepared to be very happy with King Chef because it was much better!

So I tried this place because of the reviews and I have mixed feelings about this place that is making me reconsider if I want to go there again. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, - This was very good, enjoyed it. I also ordered the hot and sour soup. I have definitely had better. The soup was very thin and watery. I could only spot a few mushroom and a couple of pieces of tofu. The rest was all soup and again it was very thinned out. The next thing we ordered was the sweet and sour chicken. This was truly disappointing. The outside texture of the chicken wasn't golden brown as I am used to. It had an appearance that makes me feel that it was frozen and fried (looked like freezer burn) or it is batched cooked and kept warm. The outside had a "white like" freezer burn appearance. When you bite into it, the batter had separated from the chicken. It resembled crisy fried chicken versus and sweet and sour chicken. There was a gap between the batter and the chicken. So I would definitely not recommend it if this is the what it normally looks like. We did pay to upgrade the fried rice to the lo mein (it was $2.00, but that's pretty good). It tasted ok, but there was a smell when you opened up the box of burnt food. Overall, its not the worst, but I definitely have had in my opinion what I can call fresher and better prepared food.
