China Panda Buffet
I was π€ skeptical of a Chinese restaurant in rural Tennessee however I was pleasantly surprised. Good food, good folks, good service, at decent prices. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Restaurant was clean and food was very good. I was impressed by the flavor and freshness. The bbq pork on a stick was so darn good. Coconut shrimp was also tasty. Tap water was really gross. I thought it would have been filtered. Service was also great. The young ladies were attentive and were very helpful. We were there until almost 8pm and fresh food was still coming out.
Peking House Restaurant
We got the sweet and sour chicken and werenβt super impressed. The fried rice had nothing in it? Maybe the other dishes are better. Service was good though, fast and kept up on drinks.
Food quality was sub par. I got shrimp and scallops stir fry. Sauce was tasty but the seafood was poor quality and rice wasn't great. Interior is in need of updating, painting and cleaning. A lot of clutter and disorganization. Very disappointing and a waste of money.
Panda Garden Buffet
They have definitely up'd their game. OK in the past, yet today, everything was exceptional... Food was hot, crisp and flavorful. Clean dining room and men's restroom. Service was prompt and responsive tethered with politeness. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly conversationalist cashier. Nice to speak in English and easily carry on a conversation. πππππππ On a 1-5 rate!!!
Pathetic. That's what came into my mind. I'm a huge fan of Hot and Sour soup. Their version looked ok, but tasted nothing like H&S I've ever had. I tried 3 items on the Buffett, 2 chicken and one beef. The beef was maybe medium warm and from the looks of the veggies, had been there a while. The chicken items were barely above room temperature. This is a good place to get sick. I was afraid to even eat. I just paid and left. Does Dayton or Rhea Co. even conduct restaurant health inspections?
