Oishii Japanese Bistro
Oishii Sushi is a hidden gem! The Ichiban Rolls were absolutely incredible—perfectly balanced flavors and fresh ingredients that melted in my mouth. The Venus Rolls were just as amazing, with a rich, delicate taste that made every bite unforgettable. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy yet elegant. If you're looking for high-quality sushi in a welcoming setting, this is the place to go! I’ll definitely be coming back.
amazing and cute little sushi place!! I love the ambiance of the place, the staff is very kind, service can be slow at times but I have no problem waiting. the food is very good. definitely recommend!
Noodles and Company
I always get the side of Wisconsin mac and cheese with the udon noodles and steak as my main dish. Always consistent with quality and flavor. A regular go to of mine. Tables and drink area always clean and staff is always happy 😊
This location is great. Food cooked to perfecting with and not terrible wait time. Service is friendly and forgiving. The in side is also very inviting. A location that definitely gets 5 out 5
Tokyo's Sushi
Who knew Chinese can do Japanese sushi? The items ordered were quite good. The whole squid was wonderful but for $17 and that small, I don’t know.
Unforgettable Sushi Experience at Tokyo Sushi Tokyo Sushi is where fresh meets extraordinary. Every single bite of their sushi is an experience in itself—so fresh, it practically melts in your mouth, leaving your taste buds doing backflips with every roll. The flavors are vibrant, the fish is top-quality, and each piece feels like it’s been crafted with care. And let’s talk about the sauce: it’s not just a condiment here. Their sauces are fresh, balanced, and complement the sushi perfectly, enhancing every bite without overpowering the natural flavors. Tokyo Sushi isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for sushi that goes above and beyond, this is the place to be!
Awadh By Chef Anand
Recommended by a friend. Excellent Saturday lunch buffet. Samples of every primary entree and side dish. A separate station for potato filled rice crepes - dal. Everything was replenished frequently. Quiet atmosphere even when busy. Very nice.
We recently hosted a couples event at Awadh by chef Anand in Powell, and our experience was nothing short of amazing! From the very first conversation, the team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was thoughtfully planned. Their commitment to excellence made the entire process seamless. On the day of the event, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt valued and well taken care of. The food was nothing short of amazing—flavorful, well-prepared, and consistently delicious, just as it has been every time we’ve dined there. The service was impeccable, with a team that was both professional and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire experience. If you’re looking for a place that delivers top-notch service, exceptional food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Awadh by chef Anand is the perfect choice. We are so grateful for their hospitality and look forward to returning for future events and dining experiences!
Yoshi (Powell, OH)
Worst hibachi ever. These portion sizes are made for toddlers. Paid $15 for steak hibachi and received an entire bowl of noodles with 7 small pieces of meat. $8 for mango sticky rice that tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. Ordered yum yum sauce and spicy mayo and received neither. $15 for chicken and shrimp hibachi that was inedible. Came home and ended up making pizza for dinner. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place is GROSS with a capital G 🤮
Had a cold and craving pho so I decided to give Yoshi a try. I ordered the chicken pho and crab rangoon. The broth is a little on the bland side, but otherwise I’m very happy with the flavor and portion size. The crab rangoon had a lot of filling (kind of rare these days) and the dipping sauce has a nice spicy kick. The cashier was very friendly when I stopped in to pick up my order.
Full House
Went to this take out Chinese restaurant because of the good reviews online. They were right the food is indeed yummy. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the customer service. I felt as though I was a nuisance to the cashier lady. Could definitely work on making all customers feel welcomed instead of looked down upon. Other than that we enjoyed our food. The portions are generous and the service was fast. Beware no seating inside to eat. This is strictly a to go Chinese restaurant.
I have been on a quest to find great Chinese since I've lived in Knoxville. I have tried them all. I won't go back. This place hit the mark for me. I wanted that old school DC Chinese place vibe and I got it here. They actually cook the fried rice with vegetables...something that for some reason i haven't found anywhere lately. Listened to my special instructions and executed them perfectly. Delicious crunchy egg rolls. The spicy could have been spicier but she gave me extra chili sauce so I just zchuzzed it up a bit with that, it also needed a bit more salt but again those are easily fixable things and did not deduct from my enjoying it. $27.59 for two combos and a pint of pork lo-mein. Large portions. I have lunch tomorrow too. Thank you for your courtesy. 20 minute drive there and totally worth it. A picture is worth 1000 words. You can tell by that how delicious it was.
Golden China
Gave this place a go from a friend's recommendation. The reviews were mediocre and not the best rating however we tried anyway. The reviews for this place are pretty accurate, 3* at best. It's a mom/pop/kid place with 1 table in there to sit at, so plan on takeout. The other table is full of school stuff and other things. They had my order ready exactly when i wanted and they seemed nice. When it comes down to the food, everything was really bland imo. The beef mai fun as you can see is white, it's like there is no sauce or anything, maybe just a little sesame oil. The egg rolls were pretty tasteless as well. The pork fried rice and the crab rangoons were good. The kung po chicken was mediocre, not much spice to it. The egg drop wonton soup was really thin, normally i see it a bit thicker. Once again that was pretty bland as well. Unfortunately, I don't think i will be back. I appreciate the service, good luck to you guys.
Great local family business! Very friendly service! I had the sesame beef and fried wontons, both were delicious.
Lin's Wok
A great place for some delicious food and warm, friendly service. Their menu offers a wide variety of options but I personally had tried their General Tso’s with fried rice, lo mein and crab rangoon my first time around. Every item on my order complimented the other and offered its own unique taste compared to other restaurants with the same menu items. If you’re in the area or debating giving Lin’s Wok a try, it will be worth your while. They have sure not seen the last of me whenever I find myself visiting the Columbus area.
Please ignore the other reviews that are saying this is the best- they are not true. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Ordered general tsos chicken, chicken fried rice and something similar to happy family. Was not impressed.. honestly don’t want to eat in fear of getting sick. The chicken was soggy and lacked flavor. The vegetables had a smell and an after taste and even the rice was mushy. I think the worst thing of all is that I called the lady to report my concerns and she said that this is the way they have always made it and if I don’t like it then go somewhere else. This is the rudest customer service experience I have ever had.worst Chinese food ever
Beijing Restaurant
My favorite Chinese place! Family-run. The food is always excellent. I've literally been eating here for decades.
It had been a couple of years before I was willing to give them another chance. What a mistake to trust them again!! First, their. packaging is pathetic. Fluid all over appetizers, everything! Spring rolls… god awful!!! Hardly spent any time in the deep fryer. Pale, tough, nasty. Fried dumplings used to be average. Even more tough, thick, & doughy!! Entrees were average. They should pay attention to the fortune cookie they gave me. It said…’Business is a lot like playing tennis; if you don’t serve well, you lose’. Well, you’ve lost me FOREVER!!!!! I’ve forgiven bad packaging & poor customer service in the past. The awful food is a dealbreaker.
New China Express
My husband talked me into trying a new place for NYE takeout. Cleanliness: Super clean Service: Friendly, willing to answer questions about allergens and food ready quickly Food: not so great. The chicken was nasty. Some parts were chewy and other parts mushy. The crab rangoon was very good. Super disappointed after seeing all the great reviews and how clean the restaurant was. I ate the veggies from my dish and tossed all but the one bite of chicken I tried. Hubby ate about half but decided it wasn't worth the calories.
New China Express proves that not all Chinese restaurants are the same! For price, quality, and quantity I would rate them a 10/10! Starting from the friendly staff, the clean interior of the restaurant and the variety in menu they're a winner in this segment. The food was cooked perfectly without feeling overly greasy or heavy. We ordered the Crab Rangoons and Egg Rolls which were perfectly crisp. From the entrees we ordered the BBQ pork lo mein, the meat had a great smokey flavor without being dried out, and the noodles had a nice chew to them. We also order the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice, the heat level was flavorful without being too hot. We've tried the competition, but always come back to here! Don't forget to try the lunch specials, amazing value for under $10!
