Wok N Roll
The service is always great. It's a very busy place and sometimes you have to wait but hat's to be expected. The food is always hot and fresh with crispy vegetables cooked in a wok. We typically order Crab Rangoon (good), boneless spare ribs (sticky and sweet and tender) and some type of main dish. We haven't been disappointed yet and have been coming here over a year.
This is the best Chinese take out on the south side of town hands down. I have been coming to the establishment for many years. The food is always great and the lady that works the front counter is always polite. Keep it up W&R
Hunan Express
This food was horrible. I ordered the general chicken special, fried chicken wings, fried rice. That food went straight in the trash. General chicken was mushy tasted like it had been microwaved from the day prior. Fried chicken looked weird and had absolutely no flavor, just grease and flour. The fried rice was very mushy and had no flavor, I’m 100% sure they cooked it a few days prior. I was so excited to try this place considering the decent reviews. I have no idea how people are rating this place about a 3 star.
I am not from around here, but this is the best Chinese food I’ve had by far! Everything is fresh, the chicken is crispy, and even the rice and broccoli are perfectly cooked. The small portions are the perfect amount of food for one person. And the prices are great! They even wrap the containers with plastic wrap so that it doesn’t leak when carrying it. I just wish there was a Chinese restaurant this good where I live.
King Chef
Food was okay (sweet & sour chicken). First time at this place tucked away in a little strip mall. Service was nice. Restaurant is tiny. Could have better ambiance, but is clean (most important). Impressed with the number of menu options. I will go back again!
0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Never had an issue with this establishment before until today. I called to place an order and the lady was very RUDE! i dont know if she had a bad day or what. Anywho, I ordered chicken on a stick and upon receiving my order. My chicken on the stick was the color of the road. BLACK AND BURNT. I had to then go back into the establishment in which the lady snatches the bag out my hand and makes me another order in which she threw the new food into the same bag. Bad experience wont be going back again.
Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
The food here was terrible. I ordered the 6 wings with shrimp fried rice and paid almost $16. That was my first mistake. But I figured for the price the food should be pretty good. Absolutely not! First off the wings were TERRIBLE. They were VERY small (like American Deli small however AD wings taste amazing), and the quality of them were just bad. The shrimp fried rice came with 5 mayyyybeee 6 shrimp, which is fine considering but it was only the shrimp, a few pieces of onion and rice. That’s all. It is the yellow rice which I enjoy but this was dry and disappointing to say the least. Do not recommend and guaranteed I won’t be back.
Food is super clean, and made fresh. Typically not a fan of Chinese these days because of the excessive grease and MSG. But this place truly breaks the mold. The moo goo gai pan was amazing. I have had it twice now, and the mushrooms and veggies were so fresh and crisp.
Hibachi House
Ordered the Hibachi Chicken & crab rangoons. Both the chicken & vegetables & rangoons were delicious! The "fried rice" was very bland, as others have stated, but its not bad. For $10.25, you really couldn't ask for a better deal! WAY More affordable & better tasting than the Hong Kong chinese place that's down the road. IMO. Will definitely be a repeat customer so long as the quality stays the same. Edit: came back to say, this place was a bonefide lifesaver when I had covid. Egg drop soup & certain chinese foods are some of the few things I can actually eat when I'm sick. I ordered from here almost every day & it really got me by. The soup is delicious, comforting, & filling. The chicken & broccoli was delicious, the chicken lo mein was delicious, & today I'm trying the chicken mei fun. From 4 to 5 stars, highly recommend! The hibachi is decent, but the rest of the menu is better.
Service was less than par. The girl working at the counter is rude. She acted as if she does not want to be there. As a first time customer I wanted a minute to look over the menu. She slumped over the counter tapping her pen as if we were bothering her being there. We didn’t leave. The food came out hot. The girl was fairly nice to me when bringing the food to our table but not friendly at all to my partner. The portions were small for the price. It looks good on picture but mostly rice. The vegetables are under the meat. So actually you get a small amount of meat, lots of rice, and a good amount of vegetables. I’m not sure how it would be if you chose not to get vegetables. The taste was good. The chicken was overcooked and chewy. The steak was very tender though. I probably wouldn’t return especially if the rude clerk is at this restaurant.
Happy Garden Restaurant
This place has delicious sesame chicken and egg rolls not to mention their beef rice was satisfying. This place will leave you happy with a full stomach.
Food was good. Strip mall needs an upgrade, place is very old looking and run down. Service was fine, no issues. The chow mein was kinda dry. No flavor. Other than that. Fine.
Panda Express
Waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru because I had to wait “a minute or two” on beef. After 7 cars received their orders, I went inside to see if they forgot me. The crew scrambled to start my order, upon entering the store. Orange chicken was cold and my fortune cookie had NO fortune. I never leave reviews like this, but this was my ‘redemption meal’ after they’ve failed to provide decent service the 3 times I’ve visited prior.
Went through the drive thru at 3:30 on a Thursday. Before I could order, the worker on the intercom asked me to go inside because they could not come to the drive-thru window. I was the only person in line, and I could only see one person in the dining area inside. I went elsewhere because I was needing something quick and convenient.
Golden China Restaurant
We use to enjoy the food here but today it was awful, something tasted seriously off! 3 bites and it went straight into the trash! My husband came inside and said the same thing about his including the egg rolls were fried hard and tasted burnt! Very disappointed, such a waste of $35!
The worst fried rice I've ever tried. Lo Mein edible. Atmosphere still in COVID pandemic setting with worn out furniture. Sockets even covered with duct tape, facility strictly take out. Best thing was food packaging.
