Great food, I'll be happy to go back. The tempura was cooked perfectly. The sushi was made beautifully, and that's the one thing I forgot to take a picture of. The house salad was not my favorite, but it was fresh enough. I just prefer the creamy type of ginger dressing. It was quite busy on a Saturday night, and our waiter did a fantastic job. If you struggle to open heavy doors, like me, the entrance here is a bit difficult. Though they have a nice ramp to the entrance if you're using a wheelchair or walker.

This place is HUGE. Very good...certainly better than the Sichuan places we have in Cincinnati. A couple of things that keep it from 5 stars. They need to offer LAMB as a meat option and the menu could be a little more creative...i.e. offering hot pots, frog legs and tripe.

We got the sweet and sour chicken and weren’t super impressed. The fried rice had nothing in it? Maybe the other dishes are better. Service was good though, fast and kept up on drinks.

Food quality was sub par. I got shrimp and scallops stir fry. Sauce was tasty but the seafood was poor quality and rice wasn't great. Interior is in need of updating, painting and cleaning. A lot of clutter and disorganization. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Had an amazing experience and the service was incredible. Our server was Chris, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we well taken care of. The food was excellent and he made incredible recommendations on what we would want to eat. And he didn’t miss with what he recommended. He also made suggestions on what to drink just based on how we felt at the time and those were fantastic. We were also celebrating a birthday and he made that feel just as special. If ever you visit this location, you should absolutely ask for Chris. His service and attention to detail is outstanding.

I haven't been here in 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised by the food tonight. I got the Chang's Spare Ribs and the Sesame Chicken both were delicious. My friend got the Kung Pao Shrimp and the Dumplings she enjoyed her food too. Our server Chris was exceptional. He was so friendly, patient, and attentive. We'll be back and we're asking to sit in Chris's section.

This is the best Chinese seafood restaurant you will find in Midwest. Food and dish selection is outstanding! They specialize in seafood and have an excellent selection of chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian plates too. I've traveled the world to find good food and I have to say is place is a gem. Recommend calling for reservations on weekends and they also have a small party room. Takeout is also an option. They have fresh seafood...as in it's still live so it doesn't get any better than that. Yes they do run out of product at times because it's that good. Tables and chairs are really comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Parking is also convenient. Food is served on real plates. They do offer beer and wine here too. Lighting is bright so you can really see your food. Prices are affordable and the portions are large.

Fu Mon Lau sesame chicken, hunan shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and sesame chicken. I have eaten Chinese food from the west coast to the east coast and even Alaska. When someone says hunan shrimp there is a particular flavor that I am looking for. This restaurant had a beautiful presentation. The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was authentic. The food was really good. The sweet and sour chicken had the best texture...fluffy, and was not oily. It needed more sauce so we asked for a side. The rest of the food was good, but it didn't taste like the name suggested. The hunan shrimp had no spice and the flavor wasn't the same. The orange chicken did not have any spice either. It's usually served with red pepper flakes. The sesame chicken tasted like a piece of chicken with a sweet sauce and they threw sesame seeds on it. It didn't have that distinct taste or orange or sesame chicken. I didn't taste any orange in the orange chicken. It was all really good, but I thought it was going to taste like something else.

Atmosphere is very nice and staff is friendly. Our server was quick to help clear the table, take orders, etc All of us loved our food, though my mom said her vegetables weren't cooked as much as she'd like.

We got the General tso lunch special with appetizer crab Rangoons. First of all, the service was great. He brought out some chicken to share with us, whitch I did not realize was going to be what we ordered. It was crunchy but very salty and not at all sweet or spicy! The fried rice was bland. The egg rolls were the best part. The crab Rangoons had very little filling and the sweet and sour was also bland. We ate it, so it was okay, but I don't recommend this dish. Maybe try something else tho. Restraunt was beautiful.

Service was excellent for a really busy night. Food was fantastic. The dishes that came out were amazing and the presentation was beautiful. We had about 11 different dishes and ate family style. Perfect evening.

Food Quality is good. Saw robot delivering take away food . Enough accommodation for large parties or small seating requirements . Overall ambience was good just a little noisy. Good place to visit for Chinese food , if you have not tried it yet. Go for it.

Had the chicken in black bean sauce and the General Tso’s chicken. The Chicken in Black Bean sauce was FANTASTIC! The General Tso was ok but we like the black bean sauce much better. The Won Ton soup is very good and has a rich flavorful broth and very good wontons. The pasta is delicate and the filling is tasty. Will definitely be back for the Chicken and Black bean sauce and the won ton soup!

Got take out. Ordered happy family, fried rice and crab Rangoons. Happy family was supposed to have beef, chicken, shrimp, crab and scallops. It was full of beef and chicken, with 3 scallops. And the whole dish was bland A.F. It tasted like it was made with dish water. The Peas in the fried rice were like rocks, and there was NO CRAB whatsoever in the crab Rangoons. Piss poor food-- no flavor at all.

Noodles were great! Someone commented previously that the eggrolls were the best they ever had, but they just tasted like frozen ones to me… but that’s what I get for ordering an American Chinese appetizer. The beef flank noodle soup was delicious. Flavorful broth, tender beef, crunchy toppings… it was everything I wanted on another cold day in Ohio. Order something you don’t recognize and trust the process.. and you’ll be happy here.

From the time we discover this place, we keep on coming back. Place is neat and clean, and most of all their noodles are the beat in Dayton even compare to those expensive restaurants. Soup is flavorful and their noodles can’t compare to others! It don’t sag and taste is great! All flavors are exceptional We tried Mala noodle beef steak and regular beef, fish, sausages and fish balls everything were worth the price! They are not expensive for the huge servings

North Village Chinese Restaurant - 1 Stars After living in Dayton my entire life, I finally decided to give North Village Chinese Restaurant a try, especially after noticing a few customers coming in for takeout. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I had high hopes based on the foot traffic, but the food did not live up to my expectations. To start with, the hot and sour soup was a letdown. It had a globby texture and lacked any real flavor, which was surprising. I had never tried it before, so maybe this is how it is typically served, but I found it to be unappetizing and not even hot. On a brighter note, the wonton soup was quite good—definitely the highlight of my partners meal. The crab rangoon was average; it was okay but nothing that stood out. The fried rice was decent, but it really needed more seasoning or flavor to elevate it. I found the noodles to be sticky and bland, which was disappointing. The Mala G. Beans Chicken was particularly unappetizing and lacked any definitive taste, while the Moo Goo Gai Pan also fell flat in terms of flavor. Overall, I was hoping for a better experience at North Village. While I did enjoy the wonton soup, the rest of the meal simply did not impress. I may return to give it another shot, but my first visit left much to be desired.

When you ask for General Tso’s Chicken and you get a container with an extreme amount of a running sauce resulting in something more like SOUP… the outcome is sorely disappointed. What an unpleasant experience. Not to mention costly. 14.95 for lunch!!! You could have kept the wonton soup. After the “unrequested, unsolicited soup” I did not want to add additional insult to energy. This overall experience was “AWFUL!!!” The only part of the encounter that could be loved upon favorably was the general disposition of the host/server. Such a waste of time and money.

I got hooked, I love the food over there, it is so tasty, delicious, and affordable, sometime I find myself driving 15 miles to buy food over there, while I have other places much closer to me. It is a family biz and they are friendly.

The best Chinese food in Dayton. Healthy portions. The orders are accurate. I hate that the dinning room hasn't been open since Covid. The parking lot need repair.

More onions and bell peppers than anything but taste ok. Hardly any meat (but I am not a big meat eater) or portion eater . They are pretty stingy with the meat . But load you up on veggies . #Burp I enjoyed my entree.

Not sure why there are any one-star reviews here at all. The food is very fresh, and the service is quick. This is my favorite family-owned spot in Dayton. Thank you for making such delicious food!

I wish I would've thought to take some pics of everything I'm about to attempt to describe, including the food lol. First , let me say the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the general tso's shrimp, which I've never seen at any other Chinese restaurant ever, and I loved it. What I didn't expect was walking into a "restaurant" that's been chaired off to hold some children(though I get it, you gotta do what you gotta do), piles of boxes by the door, filth everywhere. The place could use a serious cleaning, to the point that i questioned my decision of where to get food, after i walked in the front door. Thankfully, I gave it a shot and found the food excellent.
