East China Restaurant Carryout
You can’t tell a book by its cover! When I want some good Chinese food, don’t want to wait a long time and want to pay a reasonable price…this is the place. Great selection on the menu. Good soups, egg rolls and entrees. My wife was skeptical because we like Asian food out at nice restaurants, and this is not that place. But, since I am picking up, it’s tasty and it comes home hot, she likes it. Generally don’t wait more than 10 min. On the street parking and a large parking lot is just across the street. Easy to find next to the Fire Dept and across from Ace Hardware on Chagrin, just east of Lee Rd in Shaker Hts
Wow! This place is awesome, they really go the extra mile, all the way down to a paper towel in the egg roll so it wouldn’t be too greasy! I’m very impressed! The rice tasted homemade and the chicken crispy with a delightful sauce. Great customer service too, can’t wait to come back here! One of my new favorite places to eat in Cleveland.
Dragon Light
From the freshness of the ingredients to the exceptional service, Dragon light truly delivers an outstanding experience. The quality and flavor of the food are remarkable, and my son absolutely loves the wonton soup. The kitchen is spotless and clearly well-maintained. If you’re looking to support a local gem, I highly recommend this mom-and-pop shop
My family loves this place. Been going here for a while. The people are nice. And the place is clean. We order many dishes and no complain. The prices not bad.
China Wok
I ordered General Tso for lunch. Well….they left out the chicken. Don’t let the picture fool you. These are not huge pieces of chicken! It is fried dough! There wasn’t any chicken! I even left them a tip when I picked up the food. When I took my first bite; it tasted good. But, no meat.I tried another piece, only to find out that all of the pieces had no chicken. I cut a few to show everyone. I didn’t have time to cut all the pieces in half to show. I am really disappointed!!! 😠 China Wok please fix this!
Quickly made food worth great flavor. That's it. Typical Chinese spot were the"Chinese" lady new and spoke better Spanish than I didn't.. that's most of them in my area of Cleveland.
Great Wall
The staff is amazing, once you called in your order and go to pick it up they know exactly what you ordered. The food is best around. Wish there were more diet options.
First I can say the staff was friendly but seemed a little over whelmed with the phone kept calling and only two people in there trying to make orders. But the worst Chinese food I’ve ever ate from the rice was way too soggy like they extra cooked it. The crab dragons don’t even taste like crab dragons. I also had the sesame seed chicken, It didn’t have the sesame seeds on it just the sauce It was okay but a little overcooked “ very chunky “ , but still eatable but definitely will not go back again to order very disappointed.
Golden House Restaurant
i mean its been around forever and people like their food. i personally isn’t the biggest fan of this place. the one man that is in the front can be very freaking rude at times. people come here for the zombies…
The service was trash. This was a after work drinks for a birthday. It was 15 of us and some even brought food. The zombie drinks were nice, but service was sub‐par with a lot of attitude. Last visit.
Panda Garden
Honestly, if I could give this 0 stars then I would. Firstly, the restaurant is decorated in printed out pictures of food. Secondly, the woman at the counter kept yelling at her son to eat his fried rice, and then after tasting the fried rice it makes sense why he wouldn’t eat it. She refused to sub out my husband’s fried rice for noodles. And the food itself literally had no flavor. The chicken, we are sure wasn’t even chicken. The “fried rice” was yellow and looked like boxed Mexican rice but without any flavor. And the fried shrimp was so hard that it cut up the inside of our mouths. EVEN THE PACKETS OF SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE HAD NO FLAVOR. I’ve never had a Chinese restaurant forget the salt. Although, my husband found a hair in his cashew chicken, so that was a fun surprise. They definitely scored 0 on food and service.
Very clean and the food is absolutely delicious. So glad to have finally found a good Chinese spot in cleveland
Richie Chan's Chinese Restaurant
Affordable and tasty! I live pretty close but have never been until now and I have been missing out. Service was nice and food was good, the couple who was there were very nice, good kind atmosphere
My girlfriend & I opted to dine via take out from Richie Chan's. She has been eating here since she returned to Cleveland two decades ago & raves about it all the time. We decided to order take out for Valentine's Day & it was fast service with generous & delicious portions. They only take cash but it's very inexpensive for the quality & quantity of food you receive. We got wonton soup, shrimp with vegetables & steamed dumplings & it was enough for two meals each for both of us! We also got organic navel oranges, fortune cookies & almond cookies as a gift (I think this may have been part of the Valentine's Day) The food was so good, we ate it before we could take photos but my girlfriend's fortune cookie says it all...wonderful food for a romantic evening. We will continue to return here. Richie Chan is the main cook & his wife, Wai, helps with food prep & takes all the orders & transactions. They are so nice & friendly it feels like your favorite aunt & uncle just invited you over for dinner. Having lived in PRC, I can attest to the genuine taste of their Cantonese, Hunanese, Mongolian & Mandarin dishes. It is also a true bargain for what you will receive.
Han Chinese Kabob & Grill
Da Wonton is good. They got the chilli’s, and tingly numbing peppers that I CRAVE. 🥵 The food felt pretty clean. I mean, I didn’t end up in a food coma after eating, so that’s a plus. Cleveland has so many authentic Chinese hidden gems. Y’all don’t even know how good we got it here.
Outstanding!!! I'll have 10 of each!! This by far put the others that I've been to to shame!!! Everything was fresh and hot. The flavors are full and balanced. You can't get a bad dish here. If you get a chance pick something you usually wouldn't or ask for a recommendation from your server. They are so proud of their food it is wonderful!! Can't wait to go back!! **Edit** went back again for take out and was told they recently remodeled. The details!! They changed their chopsticks to include a blessing on them! How cool is that??
China Mountain III
Husband picked up our food but he said service was great. There is no inside seating. The food was amazing! We had wonton soup, veggie lo mein, pork fried rice, pot stickers, and split an egg roll. I’ve been craving wonton soup. We got some yesterday from a different restaurant. It was awful. This more than made up for it. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. We will definitely get take away again. Highly recommend. (Sorry for the low quality photos. The lighting isn’t great right now.)
Move over Everest! This China Mountain stands above them all! Best take out I’ve ever had. They know what they doing with that Sesame Chicken! This wok is worth the walk. Unreal food coming from the chefs back there
Szechuan Gourmet
I gave eaten here multiple times and not once has anything come close to NOT being the best food I have ever eaten. With each visit, I try something new off of their extensive menu - and it is a true treat and pleasure; even if I am not sure what I am ordering. The prices are fantastic and the portions are very generous for a family style meal. The store next door is fantastic as well.
You will never understand my deep and immense love for Szechuan Gourmet. Ever since I started school at CSU 2 years ago this place has always been my comfort restaurant. I bring dates here, I bring family here, I bring friends here—I always order the Golden Mountain chicken so often I’m a regular! It’s truly worth the price. Highly recommend this local restaurant. The staff is kind and the portions are large for the price.
Wonton Gourmet & BBQ
Foods were great at very reasonable prices. We keep coming back to this restaurant whenever we were craving for some Chinese (a little bit mix of Vietnamese) food. Yumm😋.
No frills little Chinese restaurant serving up authentic dishes at reasonable prices. Quick service and friendly staff. Free parking lot next to building. While the decor of this place is not fancy, the taste was pretty good. With that said, don’t know if it was the food from this place, but got sick the next day.
Dagu Rice Noodle
Newly renovated dining area, super friendly servers. I enjoyed all the food except the cross-bridge rice noodles. To me, cross-bridge rice noodles are supposed to have really oily and heavy chicken broth as soup base. The heavy chicken broth not only give cross-bridge rice noodles its rich flavor and creamy texture, but also helps keep the noodle warm (enough to cross the bridge. That's exactly why it's named like that). This on the other hand, is more like a regular rice noodles, just served in a heated pot. The taste is not bad though, it's just not reaching my standards of cross-bridge rice noodles, sorry. Bubble milk tea is 👍
Extremely great experience. Perfect service and fresh rice bowl / hot pots. The appetizers of sliced beef in chili oil with peanuts was surprisingly good( surprising because beef was cold a served cold). Also the salted chicken app was good. Maybe needed some sauce?! Will return soon. Check out pics
