Hy-Vee Chinese
Normally I really enjoy this place. The food is usually really good and you get a good helping. However, over the last month to month and a half the new gal that is behind the counter on 49th and Louise is without personality. And she is very stingy with the food. Even though it's on $7 night usually the food is fresh. Last couple of times it has not been. Usually we sit in the restaurant Fortune so that we can sit and talk. However, due to me having surgery this last time I took it home to eat. It just wasn't that appetizing. For the first time in a long time most of the food ended up in the garbage. I am hoping that in the future that things turn around because even for $7 deals it's not a deal.
Not 5 star Chinese let's be honest
Yummy House
This place honestly is the best! I have had a lot of Chinese food in my life and let me tell you this place is absolutely astonishingly delicious! If you’re in Sioux Falls this place is a must! I am telling you it’s the best Chinese food in America change my mind I dare you! I got to meet the 93 year old chef that prepared absolutely decadent dishes thank you for your perfection! I wish I could give I higher rating
The entry and foyer are a little helter skelter but do not let this turn you away. On a road trip on Christmas found this to be one of the few places open and wasn't hoping for much, but was I wrong! They have a selection of Americanized Chinese food like fried sweet and sour, but save that for those that don't know what Chinese food is. I sampled several of the dim sum and tried a couple of the entrees. The pork belly was phenomenal. The five spice was fragrant, and reminded me of a Chinese dish I had in Malaysia. The dumplings melted in your mout, and everything was superbly fresh. As it was a holiday it was very short staffed. The attendant ran the whole room, serving multiple guests and didn't skip a single beat. If you love Chinese you have to make this a part of your dining experience.
