Mei Wah Chinese Restaurant
The ham fried rice, chicken wings are delicious. Friendly staff. The egg roll is ok. Overall, the food is superb. Love the brown rice made with eggs, onions, and ham. The best in the town, in my opinion.
Wife and I had been wanting to try Mei Wah for a while and we finally both had a Saturday off together (the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays). We tried to open the door and it was locked. Apparently it's all just take out business from the takeout window (you can walk up to it). The employees we spoke to were both very friendly. The menu is fairly traditional for Chinese food. The vegetable fried rice was very good and it's one of the very few places I've been to in the region that uses egg in their fried rice. The lo mein was good with the perfect amount of sesame oil but the noodles were fettuccine pasta, not real lo mein noodles. The General Tso chicken was cooked well but it was more of an orange chicken than General Tso. Overall we were happy with the restaurant and will be back. It's the best Chinese food we've had in Dillon.
China King
I ordered take out. I got the chow meI fun, general tso, and beef with broccoli. I wasn't expecting much because of the stores appearance, but to my surprise it was great! As someone who comes from New York, this place well passed my expectations.
I used to love this place but I went to grab a few wings for lunch today. The meat was spoiled. Even my 7 year old could smell it was spoiled. It stunk and I don’t see how they could fry it and serve it as if nothing was wrong with it. Update 10/3: My daughter ordered last night and I warned her about this place but this is what she found in her food. SMH
China Buffet
The building is rough on the edges overall but the food is better conpared to your standard china buffets. Would recommend the spicy chicken wing! Shoutout to our Lyndsey she was great and gives you that southern hospitality.
The food here is excellent, has the best flavor. Loved everything I got on my plate. Huge verity of food. Lots of different stuff. Staff was friendly
China King
This place is a gem in a rural area with few options. Fresh, delicious and also very inexpensive, especially for the quality and portion size. Orange chicken, fried rice & crab rangoons were all really, really good. Was the lady on the phone a little surly to my boyfriend? Yep! Would I let her yell at me every single time we order as long as the food stays that tasty and cheap? Also yep!! :)
My boyfriend and I got the bbq ribs, chicken fried rice, and teriyaki chicken it wasn’t good! The chicken fried rice the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through, the teriyaki chicken was super thin almost paper like, and the bbq ribs weren’t cooked all the way either and rubbery! Definitely won’t be eating from there again! I called in and was put on hold twice and was rushed to order! I hate making bad reviews about places but the food wasn’t good!
