CHIYOSHI
Their food is like any other Chinese restaurant food, but great thing is they serve Halal meat, so people like my father get to enjoy Chinese cuisine without driving too far to find Chinese Halal food. They serve good portion size as well.
This place is hands-down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Woodbridge. The food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious—every dish I’ve tried has been really good. And the delivery service (I wish I knew his name because he’s awesome) is just as impressive. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re craving really great food with top-notch service, this is the place to order from.
China House
The cream cheese wantons should be the only reason to come to this place. The beef and broccoli tasted like burnt oil and lost dreams. The low mein was mid at best but you could still taste the unsanitary conditions on the noodles themselves. The food was poorly seasoned and tasted thickly of oil I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Surprisingly, good food! It's really tasty. I ordered beef in garlic sauce, delicious. The service was just as good. That surprised me, too! 😆 Price was very affordable also. Great place! I wish we had bone like this on Baltimore.
Golden China Restaurant
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Every time I order here, it’s always hot & delicious! & if I make a specific request, they always comply & get it just right. & the woman at the front counter is always polite. KUDOS to the cook also!
They are the best! The lady that works there knows my order by heart. Very prompt. Reasonable but price, good service and most of all Great food!
China
I’ve gotten takeout here twice now, and both times the fried rice was hard and dry. Fried rice is not supposed to crunch when you chew it. Even adding some water and reheating it does not help. The almond chicken had whole, raw almonds sprinkled on top which I’ve never seen at any other restaurant. The egg rolls aren’t bad, but I’m guessing they are purchased frozen and only fried in house. The egg drop soup isn’t bad, but the crispy needles that go with it are some of the worst I’ve had. Guess my hint for decent Chinese food in my new neighborhood will continue, because this isn’t it. The service is good, and that’s one of the few positives of this place.
Ordered $50 worth of food from yall just for my family and me to feel sick the next day. The fried rice tasted old and so did the lo mein. Not only that the service sucks not one hello or smile when I walked in to pick up my order. You guys suck and need the health department called on yall. Definitely will not be back.
Fire King
Fire King is our go-to for cheap and tasty Chinese. We have tried most of the little strip mall Chinese takeout establishments within a 5+ mile radius of our house and this is by far the best. Better-than-average American Chinese take-out/dine-in that's always fresh and served with a smile. And now that they've got a nice website with smooth online ordering + a drive-thru window, there's no reason not to give them a try if you're already in the neighborhood.
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I've had since I've been here. The lemon pepper wings on the other hand fell a bit short but I think it's about my personal taste. They were quick and the food was hot.
Peking Express
I recently moved back to the Woodbridge area and have not been able to find Chinese food that I really like. (I have tried three places so far and DID NOT LIKE THEM. I will not mention names.) Many years ago I would eat at Peking Express every week when they first opened (until I moved away). This is the first time in almost 30 years that I have eaten here again! I was very afraid to try my fourth Chinese restaurant - I thought maybe someone bought the establishment after all of these years and it would not be as good. Well, maybe they have, but the food brings back memories. I was so pleasantly surprised! I ordered delivery tonight. Not only did they deliver earlier than scheduled, but my food was HOT! (This is important.) in addition, the food was awesome. Great flavor and not greasy! Initially, I was very irritated because I ordered the pork egg foo young and I did not get the gravy! 😡 However, I thought about it and would rather they forgot it than to have poured it directly all over the food. I LIKE IT ON THE SIDE. So, it’s probably not fair that I have only given them four stars (I believe they deserved five… but they forgot my gravy!). I am sure the next time I will be able to give five stars. Lol - I will have to pick it up and check my order.
Never again. I specifically asked for my food extra crispy. I said it 3 times. Each time, the cashier just said ok and never put it on my ticket. When I got my food and got back to work, it wasn’t extra crispy. When I called back, she said it would’ve been to hard. But if that’s what I asked for, why not just make it how I asked???
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
I visited Great Wall yesterday. One of the items i ordered to go was the Shrimp Toast. When I arrived at home i was surprised to find that the Shrimp Toast was burnt. This surprised me because most of my past visits were good. This, however, was not good. We didn't even bother to return it. I should have checked my 'To Go' items before I left.
I don't go here often. Bad choice tonight. My lomein noodles were super dry, no sauce on the sesame chicken or General Tso's. My chicken and broccoli was more like rice and broccoli. I barely had chicken and a bunch of rice and broccoli. Not to mention the egg rolls were not cooked all the way through. A little annoyed that I spent 35.00 and putting most of it in the trash. All of this pictured will go to waste.
China 1
My wife and I came in for lunch. She loves bourbon chicken and was excited to see it on the menu. As soon as we opened it she said what is this? I said it looks like sweet and sour chicken. So I asked the gentleman is this bourbon chicken? He said yes. We ate it because we were very hungry. Even after eating it we don't know what it was in fact we're not sure it was chicken. 🤢 Definitely won't be back!!
This place used to be the best place in Dumfries.. they changed owners 2-3 times in the past 2 years! Now it absolutely Disgusting!! I ordered bourbon chicken and it looked like CHITLINGS 🤢 🤮 brown meat.. definitely not chicken. So disgusted!! I immediately returned it. The lady at the counter was really nice and the owner wanted to know what was wrong with the food.. smh see the pics.. see for yourself!! I will never eat here again or encourage anyone to eat here. Bring the original owners back or shut it down lol
