The man and his wife are always arguing and fighting. Like every time I go they are arguing and slamming dishes. I understand the stress. But there no need to fight in the food business. The only thing good is the egg rolls (sometimes) This place has went down hill bad in the last year.
They haven't change the scenery since COVID but the food coming out of there is good. Especially the red wings! They're hard to find at ANY Chinese places but they have them and they are great
Lucky Cheng
The service was good but the food was not. I ordered bourbon chicken and it came fried hard.
If the little boy at the counter had more manners, I would have rated it 5 stars. Other than that, it's a great restaurant: food is always fresh and prices are very reasonable.
NEW CHINA
Excellent Chinese cuisine! 1st visit, I got Boneless Chicken with White Rice. 2nd visit, I got Chicken and Broccoli with White Rice...
New China is definitely going downhill. They are very expensive. Not only that but the food is not fresh. And the chicken wings they give you must come from a biddie. I don't like big wings but I certainly don't like them this small either. Just the other day, I ordered a shrimp egg roll and you should have seen how BIG AND THICK this thing was and the ingredients were old and mushy. Lastly, this is one of the few business establishments left that does not take credit/debit cards. It's cash-only. I now go to the other Chinese restaurant where food is REALLY fresh and it's also much cheaper.
China Town
Great Family Food. They are pleasant about making amendments to their original menu. I like them a lot.
Great food. Freshly made. Restaurant kept clean and beautiful indoor ambiance. Courteous and professional staff. Hidden gem in Low Country!
