No.1 China
Not pleased at all first time eating here ordered alot of food for my family the peppered steak with onion and peppers was very tasty but as you can see they messed me over on the steak badly when I called back asking about it that's just how they make it what a rip off we also got sesame chicken it was sooooo dry and hard never doing that again and the fried rice had no taste not worth the money but hey the sweet and sour chicken and lomein noodles were both amazing so good luck hope everyone else has a good experience
I was skeptical about visiting because of so many bad reviews it reviews. I'm glad I checked it out anyway. The food and the price were decent. I ordered a variety of dishes: egg foo young with white rice, won ton soup, and steamed dumplings. I received a free egg roll due to my total being over $20. The egg foo young was a little greasy and lacked flavor despite being filled with shrimp, peas and onions. The gravy was the only thing that saved this dish. The won ton soup was good. The steamed dumplings had a different filling than I'm accustomed to. I didn't care for it. The ginger-soy dumpling sauce was spicy and good, which made the dumplings edible. The egg roll had very little filling but it was good. The establishment itself was small but clean. It's to-go or take-out only. I'm willing to visit again in hopes of finding dishes I like better. Stay tuned...
Number One Kitchen
This is the best Chinese cuisine restaurant around! The food has always been perfect, Never wait for it. And they're typically always busy. But that never affects the service! I've been eating here for 5+ years. And yet to be disappointed. And frequently get a free large tea! Always be polite and courteous!
The food is delicious! We get take-out often. We usually have a large order, and they are always friendly and make sure the order is correct.
China8
It was good. Not very fast (food wasn’t ready at stated time so I had to wait ten extra minutes). However the cashiers were nice. Wonton soup was a bit salty and my chicken and broccoli dish needed more chicken but I would come back to give them a second chance
In my opinion my plate tasted good. I had the general tso and a pork egg roll. We got there around 1130 am so the food was hot. The egg roll didn’t taste very good. It had a weird taste from your usual egg rolls you get at Chinese places. On the other hand my fiancé wasn’t too impressed with his meal he got the tilapia and shrimp. He said the rice tasted good but the fish was eh
Teriyaki Express
The food is excellent and very affordable. Large portions for a modest price. It's a mom and pop/family restaurant and the service is impressively fast. 10-15 minutes from placing an order and your food is ready.
This is a CASH ONLY drive thru or walk up Chinese food restaurant. Nothing to write home about. The prices are decent and portions are as expected. They have cheap wings, but that's because they are small. The only thing that really stood out to me was the state of relative disrepair that the place seems to be in. In my opinion there are too many other good options in the area to bother coming back here. Note: The pictures by other reviewers of sushi and nice black tables and chairs and inside dining is from the place next door, Teriyaki Japan, not this Teriyaki Express.
L J Snack Shop
The best kept secret in Clearwater,SC. The food is a party in your mouth! Everything is seasoned perfectly and you will be pleased with the portion size. Don't forget your red velvet cake before leaving bc there's no way you can eat it as dessert unless you take some of your meal home. Enjoy!!😋😋😋
Always a great conversation. Is real family friendly atmosphere great. The food is good too.
Fire King
Fire King is our go-to for cheap and tasty Chinese. We have tried most of the little strip mall Chinese takeout establishments within a 5+ mile radius of our house and this is by far the best. Better-than-average American Chinese take-out/dine-in that's always fresh and served with a smile. And now that they've got a nice website with smooth online ordering + a drive-thru window, there's no reason not to give them a try if you're already in the neighborhood.
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I've had since I've been here. The lemon pepper wings on the other hand fell a bit short but I think it's about my personal taste. They were quick and the food was hot.
Ming Ming Chinese Restaurant
The orange chicken with chicken wings was awesome! Seasoned well, the rice was not dry, and orange chicken was perfect. 2 orange chickens and 2 kids lo-mein with chicken wings cost us $43 and some odd cent. The kids love the cream cheese won tons and their lo-mein with chicken wings as well.
Worse customer service ever! Google menu has prices that are outdated. I called in an order and was told to show Andy the prices that's on Google and he would fix it. We show up and he rung up the prices that are current. I tried to not be confrontational and shared with him this is false advertising. He started talking fast and came up with excuses. I would not have written a review if my food was good but to pay full price and food not be good is crazy work. Then the sauce for the lobster shrimp meal was put in a to go box instead of a soup container so it spilled out. We stay 20 minutes away but we liked their food so we would take the drive. Not anymore! We do understand prices are going up everywhere but don't do a bait and switch.
China
I’ve gotten takeout here twice now, and both times the fried rice was hard and dry. Fried rice is not supposed to crunch when you chew it. Even adding some water and reheating it does not help. The almond chicken had whole, raw almonds sprinkled on top which I’ve never seen at any other restaurant. The egg rolls aren’t bad, but I’m guessing they are purchased frozen and only fried in house. The egg drop soup isn’t bad, but the crispy needles that go with it are some of the worst I’ve had. Guess my hint for decent Chinese food in my new neighborhood will continue, because this isn’t it. The service is good, and that’s one of the few positives of this place.
Ordered $50 worth of food from yall just for my family and me to feel sick the next day. The fried rice tasted old and so did the lo mein. Not only that the service sucks not one hello or smile when I walked in to pick up my order. You guys suck and need the health department called on yall. Definitely will not be back.
Golden China Restaurant
The lady at the counter is so nice and friendly. Food comes out super fast. The amount of food is worth it for just ~$15 per person. It's more reasonable than going to a sit-down restaurant.
Watch your receipt!!!!! Charge you for items then when questioned about it they act like it’s a problem. Instead of fixing the issue they move on about it like it’s not a big deal…. Cheese Wontons: $6.75 Where is the filling????? Money is hard to come by…give ppl what they pay for!!!! Zero stars!!!! I will take my business back to New China, they are way more pleasant!!!! And their WONTONS ARE ACTUALLY WONTONS!!!! My pups don’t even eat them…..🤨
New China
I purchased garlic chicken from there today and it was completely disgusting. The chicken was very tough and grisly. I won't be going back. I'm glad it was at least cheap.
First time eating here as I was in the mood for good food. I ordered chicken fried rice paid extra for white rice and asked to have it fried. Soy sauce never made it to the wok and I just got warmed up white rice with subpar chicken and overloaded with white onions. I also ordered wonton soup which had a dark yellow broth and the wonton was not completely cooked wonton soup should have a clear broth and be delicious. I wish restaurants like these would explain that this is not real Chinese food as I for one can't tell the difference just looking at the sign or the lobby pictures.
Jade of China
The establishment is older and seems in desperate need of an upgrade. Service was alright, in a way of it was me and another couple and we weren’t checked on. Even though she walked by us a bunch of times and couldn’t get her attention. The food was good. not great. but good. and got what we ordered. It’s fine for a quick bite.
We usually love this restaurant but the past couple of times we have ordered from them have been horrible. I ordered Mongolian Beef and it was all onions with maybe one or two chunks of meat. Nothing else so basically onion stew. There were on veggies, sesame seeds or anything and NO meat really. My husband ordered Kung Pao Beef his was mostly bamboo shoots and water chestnuts (from can)he also had no meat, no nuts or veggies. These meals were very very bad and then I noticed that their ratings went from an A to a B- we well never order from them again!!!
No 1 Chinese Restaurant
The service here is so good! The employees are so kind and quick to serve you. The food is really good! We enjoyed our beef with broccoli, orange chicken, pork fried rice, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, wings and crab rangoon. Everything was hot and tasted great!
First time trying this place based on the many rave reviews. Apparently they may have been good in the past but not now. We ordered moo goo gai pan and almond chicken. The sauce for the almond chicken was not good at all. The rice was extremely greasy and inedible. We both threw our plates in the trash. I'll make the trip to Ming Ming in the future even though it's a little further away. Although the price was decent, no egg roll was included.
