Chong Qing's atmosphere reminds me of those old school, hole-in-the-wall, what you see in the movies type. The service was impeccable. Everything came out so fast and we ordered many dishes! The food was A+++++. A definite gem here in Providence. I'm only sad that it took me this long to know that this place existed. 11/10 would come back. I wanted to come back thr literal next day, but did a lot of big backing already.

Let's be warned, it is a typical mom and pop atmosphere. No exhuberent decor and pretentious interior design. BUT EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC FOOD. Based on my experience and traditional cooking, their foods never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable in this economy. There are some strong cumin flavored and spicier dishes, are personal preferences. IMHO, they are well executed, for example the cumin spicy pork ribs. It reminded me of a well grilled lamb from the autonomous Xinjiang area but with pork. In all, no restaurant is perfect to suit everyone's palate. For those who enjoys highly authentic food and with bravery appetite, this could be your next new outlet.

I've been ordering from Asian Taste since I moved here in 2011. It's a family run business. I usually get delivery and the driver Han is awesome and his Dad too! Food has always been consistent. Best Gen Tso Chicken hands down. All white meat chicken, no dark meat pieces. It's more mild to me, so if you want it spicy just ask. Crab Rangoon are always good too! I ordered this the other day. Gen Tso Chicken, Boneless Ribs, Chicken Teriyaki, and Fried Rice for $13.95!! Good Food, Good People!

I ordered two combo meals and and a small chicken finger. I am pretty sure I got 5 lbs of food! Perhaps the interior looks a little low key but Asian Taste can really dish out some good food and plenty of it. It's right on RT 44 in East Providence. A combo meal that can feed three people is $8.00

Never actually been inside and I like it that way. We order delivery once a month or so and the food almost always comes piping hot and in less time than the text says. The usual American Chinese staples (think orange chicken and beef and broccoli) are solid and the fried rice is one of my favorites.

Travellers, China gourmet is a delicious take out. It doesn’t appear to be much from the outside but the food is quite yummy. The restaurant is clean and organized and the service is with a smile. Very nice and accommodating. The soups are top notch. We recommend the chicken and rice. It was delicious as is the hot and sour. The shining star of the day was the sechuan dumplings in spicy peanut sauce. They are fantastic. Spicy but not too much. Saucy and delicate. They do not disappoint. Check it out. We recommend. The food was very bland and tasteless. Needs major improvment. If youre craving chinese food youll be disappointed, especiallyfor the price. No one could tell a difference in taste from general tsos and orange chicken. Even the ragoons were tasteless and egg rolls were very dry and again, tasteless.

I have been going to MoonStar for 35 years. The food has consistently been the best Chinese food I have ever had. I once got 100 dumplings for a party and ever one of them went and requests were made for more! I love the fried rice, orange chicken and boneless spareribs. Try it you'll like it!

Now I know why three stars. Gave a 15.00 tip and got no boneless spareribs. Fried food is chewy.🤢 What the hell. Better places around. Won't go back.

My husband and I have ordered from here a couple of times and haven't had an issue. The food has always been good and the people that work there are friendly. Will definitely order from here again.
