New China JAMISON
The best sweet and sour chicken in the area. I love in warminster and I drive over to Jamison. Great Chinese food! Crab and cheese wontons are good too!
The chicken and green beans was gross. The chicken tastes like fish. Even my son that likes fish didn't like it. The chicken lo mein had a mild burnt flavor. The spring rolls tasted like black pepper and had no other flavor. The only thing that the family liked were the fried chicken wings.
Wild Ginger II
Shrimp tempura roll: Very little shrimp, large amount of batter, rice tastes old. Bleh straight in the trash
My husband and his coworkers orders food from Wild ginger few times a week at lunch time and opinions from him was for the tastiness of this place lately for the last couple months has thumbs up and thumbs down.. not consistently taste great. Sometimes the basil fried rice taste awesome sometimes they were bland. And this time I came personally to have lunch last Sunday and we were party of 3. First we were really wish this place has outdoor seating.. just a wish by the way. Second the beef negimaki was ok.. was not that bad but also was not that great. The Tom yum soup in my experience the broth was way to clear and I barely can taste anything.. not enough flavor. One of my favorite seafood is calamari and their crispy calamari definitely is not my favorite here. The only thing good was spicy seafood salad (they were not spicy at all not sure why they said spicy) sweet sour cabbage and the sushi (Angel roll). Also the staff were good too. By the way this place is BYOB
Kam Wah Chinese Kitchen
Would not order here again. Man at the counter was very nice but our take out order tasted really off. Smelled off, tasted off and the texture of the egg drop soup was so thick it was like jello. $33 spent and we trashed it all.
it’s cheap which is good but unfortunately it tastes cheap… the entree portions were generous but the general tso’s was mainly breading and the beef and broccoli was I kid you not, 80% broccoli, 10% carrots, and 10% beef. chicken was also WAY too sweet and beef was WAY too salty. and the soups tasted metallic, like the stale tap water taste? yeah. everything tasted really old.
Golden Wok
My family and I order from here periodically. The people there are always friendly and courteous. The food is always ready on time and is tasty each time. If I had to conjure a complaint, it would be that I have a hard time getting my food as spicy as I like it to be. But to be fair, I have the same problem wherever I order chinese food.
Absolutely disgusted, my order cane with black hair in it. When I called they offered to make a new order. What's that going to do if you don't wear hairnets or cut your hair. Kids working and most likely handling money without washing their hands before cooking after a transaction. If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend unless you want hair in your food. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Grand Buffet Chinese Restaurant
This place was good. Stopped in for lunch because I was in the area. I got the build your own plate habachi with all the veggies and was able to put my own spicy garlic sauce to make sure it was just perfect. The worker on habachi cooked my veggies perfectly. The other prepared foods were good and smaller portions so it seemed to be great turnover at lunch time. Everything was great. Service was even better. I would travel to come back it was very good.
Food was no good , I went in buffet on the dinner 17$ for food sound not bad . But all food was no good . Bad taste, meat pepper steak was disgusting. Not come back there . Not recommended. I still feeling bad after went this place.
Ma Wongs Carryout
Very good food. 40 yrs old and born and raised in this neighborhood. This place has been here since a kid. They have really stepped it up on the food. Definitely recommend the shrimp fried rice, the fried chicken and the triple delight(chicken, beef, shrimp and white rice)
Very delicious Chinese & American foods thumbs up the only problem it's wing li now lol 5/8/20
Kung Fu 12 Szechuan (Baltimore) 功夫十二
Been going here for years! We usually celebrate anything and everything including New Year’s Eve traditionally. The service here is excellent! They do not waste any time and are quick with cooking and bringing out the dishes! Since we’ve been going here, the quality of the food is consistent and amazing! My favorites are the salt pepper squid, walnut shrimp, garlic cucumber and the sweet and sour pork in scoop. Can’t beat the portions and prices either. The best part is that this restaurant is great for hosting large parties and not to mention it is BYOB! It also sits in a small business park so parking is never an issue if you have ones that need and accommodations with distance. If you’re craving some good Chinese food with good quality, check out this place !
I think this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area that excels in both traditional Chinese cuisine and American-Chinese dishes. The only drawback is that there are many menu items I’m unfamiliar with, but the portions, taste, and price are all excellent. It’s a popular spot, with many takeout orders as well, and the quality remains high. The variety of dishes is impressive, and most of them are quite good.
Yo Café
I had no clue this tiny shop existed- and I just randomly popped in for bubble tea and dumplings and…OH MY FREAKN GOD!!! I’m Asian and the assortment I got were the best dumplings I’ve ever had. Period. Literally this food is going to make you feel like you’re home.
We passed by the area last weekend. The restaurant is small. We arrived at 11:30am and they were busy. We ordered some dishes and bubble tea drinks. We really liked their crispy dough sticks and beef noodles, and the mango pomelo sago which was very delicious. Will come back next time to try different dishes.
China Town
Update 11/18 - I ordered Mongolian Beef and what they gave me was a remix. Mongolian beef is typically beef with green onion, sometimes onion and bell pepper. What they gave me was NOT Mongolian beef, it was something they made up. Highly disappointed and prob won’t be going back Food was very fresh and hot. We order Sesame chicken and General Tso chicken. They both were tasty but I’ve never had general tso that taste just like sesame chicken. I’m pretty sure they are using the same sauce for both dishes. The egg rolls were hot but didn’t taste fresh.
I ordered four meals last night and made sure to confirm this multiple times before paying. However, I only received three. Wanting to clarify the situation, I returned today to ask about the missing meal, only to be met with nothing but rudeness and disrespect. On top of that, the food itself was bland and underwhelming. Very disappointing experience overall.
Panda Express
Staff is great, they love the students. foods pretty good as well!
The atmosphere was okay mainly due to the fact that this Panda Express was inside a University. A place where tons of students are laughing and chatting. The service was nice. There were good employees. But the food, on the other hand, was horribly bad. If there was one item in the menu I would recommend, it would be the orange chicken and that is it. The first two times I ate there, I knew the food was bad because the lo mein and egg fried rice were bland (like tasteless). I only decided to eat there again for the third time because I really wanted to order the egg rolls. Turns out, it is possible for a Chinese based restaurant to fail at making egg rolls too. Learn something new everyday.
China Fun
Called to place the order to be rushed off the phone. Lady was very short with me & a little rude. Placed the order anyway, hoping the food was better than the service. Well, unfortunately the food was just as bad. Very bland. Lacking flavor. Hot and sour soup was not spicy at all. Honestly.. after this experience, I will never order from here again. So disappointed & still hungry. Threw my wonton soup out.
I ordered dinner here last night after driving past it many times, and it was a really great experience... I placed the order online and got a call when it was ready. The lady at the counter was a delight. Seems like a family-run shop. The kung-pow chicken was surprisingly good, and the veggie fried rice was tasty and light. Check this place out-- it's more than your local Chinese place
Mandarin Taste
Mainly a Chinese takeout place. It does have six tables. My group ate there yesterday. The kid was food was quite good, but we were disappointed that they didn't have any Chinese tea. The decor is nicer than the average Chinese takeout place but not quite as nice as an average person Chinese restaurant (see photo).
I lived 10 mins away and decided to try their food for the first time. So I ordered the orange chicken. Unfortunately, the sauce that came with the meal made the meat very soggy. So, I called to explain my concern, and a gentleman on the other end (I believe manager) was very cordial and accommodating. He told me to bring back the dish, and he would have the chef replace it. Upon arrival, a mature aged female (no senior) employee seemed irritated about why I was returning the food and became hostile, including her word usage. Yet I maintain being pleasant and understanding. Her refusal led to a refund in which she "tried" to short change me. Overall, my issue is the lack of respect even when one doesn't agree. And the insults spoken in Mandarin or Cantonese.
