奉天小厨FT.Chef (原江湖 Jianghu Cafe)
Highly recommend. Authentic Chinese food that's very flavorful. We were on a road trip and hit bad traffic from Toronto to Syracuse, so we got there later than expected. They were kind enough to stay open a little bit later for us, so we did not have to rush our meal. Very friendly staff. And best part is they allow BYOB!
We had cumin beef and peppercorn fish here. My partner ate the last bit of the fish and wanted to swim in the soup. The spicy level is authentic and you can tell the chef knows what they are doing with the doneness of the ingredients. Nice portion and friendly service. 10/10 recommend.

Incorrect Tax Calculation on Takeout Order I recently ordered four dishes for takeout from old chengdou. While the food was good, I noticed an issue with the receipt when I got home—the tax amount didn’t seem correct. After reviewing it, I couldn’t figure out how they calculated the total tax. I recommend that the restaurant double-check its tax calculations to ensure accuracy for customers. It would also be helpful if the staff could provide a breakdown or clarification when asked. Overall, I appreciate the food, but I hope this issue gets addressed to avoid confusion in the future
This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Syracuse area. So far the Dry Noodle dish is my favorite. It’s a combination of the egg/tomato and pork noodle dishes. The name continues to confuse everyone I bring since the bowl is like 1/3 filled with some kind of broth, but I love the dish. The waiter is nice and answers any questions I’ve had. I’ll continue coming here in the future and look forward to trying a bunch of new dishes.
Chorong House
Perfect little hole in the wall. So we had ordered from here a few times via DoorDash. Every time everything was perfectly made. When we came to sit down however that’s where it got solidified as a go to every time we are here. Firstly the kimchi is on point. The bean sprouts and seaweed salad are great compliments to the fried rice. Service was very fast and super friendly. The beef fried rice is always flavorful and perfectly made. The fried egg was over medium with the right amount of jelly yolk. The kimchi fried rice: more please. The flavor is rich in a pleasing way and isn’t too strong. Pairs very well with the bean sprouts. This is a go to dinner spot for sure when we have time to sit down and relax. If you’re in the area and have some time sit down and enjoy. Also the Duk-Bok-Ki is fantastic as well.
To-go for Korean food. I came here around 4:30pm. The restaurant is small and wasn’t busy. The parking lot is a bit strange. There are 2 doors to go inside: front and side. I got Dak Kal Bi and Den Jang Chigae. They tasted good, and very spicy. The kimchi I got as side dish is quite small compared to other restaurant I’ve been to. And wish there were more pork in Den Jang Chigae. Price is a bit higher as well. Staff was friendly
Lucky Garden
Passing through Baltimore and came across this place randomly. They no longer offer dine-in/seating. Lady taking orders was pleasant. We ordered chicken and broccoli as well as beef and broccoli (combo comes with fried rice and an egg roll)- egg roll has shrimp in it fyi. Decent price about $18. Food was good actually I was surprised.
Well I'm visiting from Cali... before I head back too the west coast... I had too check out how that chinese food is hitting... I'm not sure if you know or not... but the east coast chinese chicken wings... are 🔥 🔥... well this place doesn't disappoint... chicken wings, pork fried rice, BBQ pork rib tips, chop suey & shrimp egg roll all good... the customer service excellent... the food was very fresh, seasoning is spot on... just know it's a take out only... if you're looking for great food at a great price... pull up... you won't be disappointed
Canton Chinese Restaurant
Large and fairly priced portions. The chicken is of great quality, and the flavors were very satisfying. Probably the best Chinese takeout in the area.
Sometimes looks can be deceiving. So while the building isn’t the newest or fanciest, you’re here to eat good food- not marvel at the amenities. It’s been around for decades and provides great, authentic Cantonese and Chinese dishes that locals have enjoyed for years. The portions are large, and everything is freshly made as soon as you order. There is no dine-in available anymore, which is is unfortunate, because the atmosphere used to have that old school Chinese restaurant vibe. Delivery and takeout are the only options now. They do get very busy, so call ahead.
Asian Palace
Placed an order through door dash for Szechuan chicken with shrimp fried rice. The chicken was hard to the point my jaw was tightening literally! The rice was basic and the shrimp tasted like mush! When I called them, the owner told me to report it through door dash rather than fixing the problem. The food was not fresh. And reminded me why I stopped eating Chinese food! Never again will I order here. And won’t be eating Chinese for a long while if ever again!
Ordered off the Uber Eats apps and was in the mood for Lo Mein. Chose this place because of better pricing of items. Wasn't looking for anything fancy. A lot of broccoli in the Vegetable Delight. The Wanton soup was full of flavor. Nicely packed together when arrived and everything was there that I ordered. Beef Lo Mein was recommended on the app and it's really delicious.
