Chen Garden
I ordered delivery, it came very fast. I even got some pineapple on the house. Food was very hot and fresh! The Singapore Chow Mei Fun was amazing had that nice like kick to it! Sweet and Sour Chicken and rice was great! Egg roll was great. Overall very happy with my choice to order from here.
Ordered beef & broccoli and asked if they could put some baby corn in my order and a few carrots. They want to charge me a dollar for four pieces of corn and a dollar for five baby carrots pieces to add to my meal . What are ribs and l they came in little itty-bitty tiny pieces? All chopped up they were so over cooked they’re like rocks could barely even eat them. Absolutely disgusted with my dinner crab raccoons are the only thing that was halfway decent but there’s no crab any of them. They should only say they’re cheese Rangoon’s instead. They were disappointed, probably would not order from here again. The only thing that was good that I ordered was the white rice that came with my beef and broccoli. The broccoli was hard. There was about six pieces of beef in my dinner not worth the price will be looking for a new place to order from.
Vybes 109 / New York Vybes
I have grown up in NYC my entire life and swear this was such a welcome, delicious, pleasant surprise! Egg drop soup was so rich and flavorful! Chicken and string beans were so fresh and tasty and light and perfectly seasoned! Egg custard buns on the dim sum menu were incredible, very runny on the inside if you like that preference. Waitress explained how to eat soup dumplings, and checked on us often. Love when restaurants give a pitcher of water. LOVED! Will be back! Place was empty so wasn’t expecting it to be as DELISH as it was, made it 10x better 😋 Will be back!
We were just walking by this restaurant and we decided to try it out. The pork Dim Sum was so yummy. We also had some Chinese beer and tejer were good as well. The spring rolls were good too. Our server was supper friendly and kind. He even explained how to eat the dim sum.
H K Wonton Garden
Perhaps one of the most endearing dishes in Chinese cuisine is wonton soup. It’s well known and loved by many, and there have been many variations depending on where in Asia one goes. Located on Mulberry Street in NYC's Chinatown, HK Wonton Garden is one of those places to eat authentic Cantonese food where I came for lunch today. With a very plain exterior front, I was greeted by the staff upon entering at an old-school vibe with different monetary currencies taped to the walls. As a repeat patron, I easily got a table by the kitchen. Some of the staff still wore the Hawaiian shirts and served up some tasty offerings. The menu is extensive for wonton and noodles, both with soup or dry, among other dishes. I decided on the wonton with noodle soup and sui mai. These were average pieces of pork and shrimp encased in this lovely wrap. For many years, this has been my favorite comfort food: a well-made bowl of hearty, authentic Hong Kong-style wonton noodles with the right taste and textural profile and using the correct condiments to create the desirable final end results. In Cantonese, ‘wonton’ roughly translates to ‘clouds’ as the wontons look like clouds floating in the soup and use thin wrap. Most dumplings are usually served with a thicker wrap. The meal began with a hot cup of tea. The food came out quick and hot. The flavor was unique and consistent, and the prices were fair as compared to other places. The portions were just right, and the staff efficient. I continue to recommend this place.
The food is ok, the best was the sesame shrimp, the service was good but the owner was so rude, wanted to use restroom and he blocked my way stating only for customers.
Uncle Lou 快樂人
Had a great time at Uncle Lou's as we didn't know what to expect when we stumbled upon this little gem. The service was good and the ambiance was busy but inviting. The real stars are the tasty dishes we ordered. Where do I begin? Vegetable Spring Rolls: crispy on the outside as one bite is packed full of chopped carrots, onion and well, vegetables! Although only two rolls make up one serving, these will fill you up quickly! Chicken Dumplings: were soft and tender on the outside and very tasty once bitten. Both of these starters rocked! Next Up... Chicken and broccoli: was also tender and delicious. The broccoli had the right amount of crisp and the chicken, well flavored. Veggie Fried Rice: went down well. Chunks of fried egg, green peas, corn mixed in with "just right" textured rice. No soy sauce needed! Shrimp Lo Mein: did not disappoint as the noodles were soft and tasty. The shrimp was well seasoned as it made way for "a party in my mouth ". Crispy Garlic Chicken: was heaven on a plate! The crackle of the skin against the savory meat allowed for a joyous feeling. The chopped scallions and garlic took this dish over the top. In short, we'll be back!
Had an amazing time at Uncle Lou with a party of eight! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. We were seated at a round table with a huge lazy Susan, which made sharing the delicious dishes even more fun. Every dish we ordered was spot on—flavorful, well-prepared, and perfect for family-style dining. The portions were generous, and we loved how effortlessly the food kept coming as we spun the lazy Susan around. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The lively ambiance, delicious food, and great company made it such a memorable night. If you're looking for an authentic and fun dining experience in Chinatown, Uncle Lou is a must-visit! Will definitely be coming back.
Tasty Dumpling
This place is the perfect hole in the wall. The food is delicious. We would have never found it without our food tour, but once we found it we went back at least 2 more times. The pork and chive dumplings are such a good price and so so so good. I’m still dreaming about them. You NEED to eat it with the chili crisp oil. It’s homemade and it is not the same without it.
I visited Tasty Dumpling and tried the fried pork and chive dumplings. They were really good, especially for such a cheap meal. It’s definitely a great spot if you’re looking for something quick and affordable. Just remember, it’s cash-only, so come prepared. Perfect for a budget-friendly yet tasty bite!
