Just moved around town . Me and my man tried this place out and omg we got the shrimp lo mein and 8 wings and shrimp fried rice . Delivered It came so quick too ! I love this place thank you š 12/14/24 Update : I really love this place and they deliver to me super quick . I got the same thing and it tasted so good like it did the first time . They gave us an extra piece of chicken and free shrimp roll added to our order . The customer service is great and answered all questions I had . Iām so grateful for you guys
Really hard for me to not gatekeep this place tbh, but itās a hidden gem. Classic Chinese food. Iām always beyond satisfied no matter what I get. I love the shrimp and broccoli, lo mein, spare ribs and egg rolls šš¼
Shanghai Cafe
The salt pepper fried fish fillets are so delicious. Crispy on the fried skin and tender juicy inside. Very surprisingly tasty. The chicken is nice too. Good flavor, however it is not typically exactly the same flavor I had before. However it is still good with rice.
What a bargain for lunch! I was in the mood for lo mein and came upon this restaurant in my search in the area. I didn't know how much their lunch special were until I sat down and looked at their menu. Wow! You cannot beat $11 for lunch these days and the food was served on a huge platter! I almost laughed when the waitress brought it out to the table. This is a small restaurant with a few small patio tables in front. It was a weekday and it wasn't busy. The cashier/waitress was really friendly and nice. She had a ready smile for everyone who came in. I wanted shrimp lo mein for lunch but only chicken or pork lo mein were on the lunch menu. I paid $2 more for shrimp and there were a lot in my dish. It was really good. The side salad was plain and just mainly iceberg lettuce but the egg roll was good.
Haidilao Hot Pot San Diego
Amazing First Visit ā Warm, Memorable, and Exceptional! We visited HaiDiLao in San Diego for the first time, and it left us with an incredibly warm and impressive experience! The food was fresh and delicious, the service was attentive and thoughtful, and the environment was clean and cozyāeverything made us feel right at home. What truly stood out was the exceptionally caring service, which weāll never forget. Weāll definitely be back! A special thank you to Dena, our San Diego graduate server, for her professional and heartwarming serviceāshe truly made our visit extra special. And big thanks to Paul at the entrance for his humor and welcoming vibeāyou both added so much joy to our meal! Thank you, HaiDiLao San Diego, for such a wonderful dining experience!
We visited Haidilao Chinese Hotpot early in the day, and while it wasn't too busy yet, there were still 4-5 tables occupied. Iāve been to this location twice beforeāonce in the evening, where I encountered a long wait and had to order drinks at the bar. So, I decided to come early this time to avoid the crowds. I loved everything my colleagues ordered, and it was the perfect day for hotpot given the rainy weather! The staff were friendly and helpful, which enhanced our experience. The restaurant itself is convenient, clean, and beautifully decorated. While it is a bit pricey, the quality of the ingredients justifies the cost. I think it's worth it to visit once in a while for a treat!
Din Tai Fung
We celebrated my wifeās birthday here. Except for the wait time, everything else was great. It was our first time visiting and each dish was an adventure. The servers were quite nice and accommodating. The menu is straightforward especially with the digital version that has all the info and pictures. Drinks were also tasty and playfulš. Highly recommend. A potential tip would just to add yourself to the online waitlist about 3 hours ahead of the time you want to visit and you should be good to go
This Taiwanese restaurant is very popular, so be prepared for a long wait! They donāt take reservations, but you can sign up for the waiting list either at the store or online. The usual wait time is a couple of hours, but since itās located in a shopping mall, I recommend signing up and exploring the mall while you wait. One of the highlights is the dumpling-making showāyou can watch the chefs prepare dumplings through a big clear window, which adds to the experience. I tried the soup dumplings (xiao long bao), and they were excellentājuicy and flavorful. The fried rice, however, could have used a bit more salt and pepper. As for the noodles, I had a minced beef one this time, but Iām curious to try the spicy version next time. Overall, itās a great spot for authentic Taiwanese food, just make sure you plan ahead for the wait!
P.F. Chang's
Just kinda gross. Ordered the Korean fried chicken on the bone with dipping sauce. It came with unlabeled squeeze bottles of what tasted like sauces they just put on other things, none tasted good for chicken. Biting into the chicken itself was a nightmare. None of the three large pieces were identifiable parts of a chicken like you would get in a KFC bucket. It looked like someone took a cleaver to a chicken blindfolded. Over half of it was completely inedible fried gristle (the picture is what was LEFT. If I wasnāt at a big family dinner I would have refused to pay for it. The other food at the table was pretty mediocre. The carelessness of the pan-Asian decorations is laughable. In one picture I managed to capture a crappy, fake bonsai tree, a Thai Buddha head, a Chinese Taoist gong and two paintings designed by someone with no knowledge of the Japanese language using a translator app lazily (the āway of the Samurai isnāt ä¾ć®é itās ę¦å£«é). Service was fine. The very existence of this restaurant is an affront to good taste, in both senses. I could only imagine going there if you were staying at the hotel next door. But even if you are, go somewhere else. If you want crappy Chinese food, save some money and door dash Panda Express.
My family and I are regular customers of PF Chang's, enjoying both dine-in and takeout experiences across various locations. However, our recent visit to the La Jolla Village, San Diego restaurant was unfortunately a significant letdown. We ordered our usual dishes: shrimp fried rice, honey chicken, and kids' orange chicken with fried rice. While my family's meals arrived without issue, the shrimp fried rice I received was concerning. The rice grains were excessively hard and dry, almost as if they were undercooked. When we brought this to the attention of our server, they promptly offered to remake the dish. However, the second serving was equally problematic, appearing excessively wet and soupy, almost as if it had been washed. Upon informing our server about this issue, we were told that both orders of rice were from the same batch. This seemed unlikely given that my family's rice was cooked correctly. The manager offered to remake the dish again, but at that point, our appetite had been completely diminished. We were disappointed with this experience, especially considering our consistent patronage of PF Chang's. We hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the quality and consistency of your food preparation.
Dim Sum House by Jane G's - University City
I really love dim sum. It was so delicious. Iāll definitely come back next time. I hope the hygiene of the staff will improve.
Our server Mike was very professional and attentive. I the food was well seasoned and the portions significant. We took home several leftovers. I just wish there were more napkins on the table.
Kim's Oriental Foods
Iāve been here quite a few times but this time there was a bug in my noodles⦠𤢠the taste is alright but Iām not sure if I can eat here again
I hadnāt had salt pepper spare ribsļ¼ę¤ēęéŖØļ¼cooked this way for a long time so I was very happy. I am still giving 5 stars because I personally didnāt care too much. But I noticed a small piece of plastic (from a plastic bag or something like that) in the rice. I guess this happens when you have a small kitchen on a truck.
Heng Feng Hand Drawn Noodles
Food was good. The atmosphere is interesting. It is a restaurant, but it turns into a club some nights, so I was eating a bowl of noodle soup on the dance floor in front of a DJ booth. Service was okay. The food came out quickly. The waiter gave us our food, didn't check on us for the whole meal because he was watching the Phillies game, and took 15 minutes after we finished eating to revisit our table to give us the check.
Hang Feng Hand Drawn Noodle at Market & 36th, near the Penn campus, is a cozy and quiet lunch spot, perfect for enjoying birthday noodles along with a variety of dim sum and small dishes. It's an ideal place for a delightful meal.
Kim's Dragon Asian Food
honestly BLOWN AWAY at how high quality and delicious this was!!! i got the tofu and veg in spicy sauce over lo mein ā tons of veggies, super fresh and flavorful, HUGE portion, only $8.65, absolutely will be back š¤©š¤Æ
The prices are fair and the food is really good (especially for a food truck). The location is ideal for students needing to grab food between classes, and variety of menu items makes it that there is always going to be something for everyone. UPDATE: Glad to see they survived the pandemic and are still going strong šŖ
1899 TNJ Inc
Nice place to sit and just relax.
Great food with excellent service
Peking Inn
Ordered food from here twice now. The first time was better then the last. I'm not sure what happened. But the food was just ok on the second trip. My lady wasn't really happy with her food. Her rice was a little on the hard side. My curry shrimp an broccoli lacked the flavor it had the first time I ordered. The place itself looks a little sketchy from the outside and looks even more sketchy on the inside. It's dark and gloomy in there. You can't even see or hear anyone cooking the food in the back. No one was at the counter when I walked in. Then this lady just comes from out of the back somewhere. It was weird. I was the only one there at first then all of the sudden it was like 6 people standing in the lobby waiting for food. It felt like I was in a Escape Room movie and the stage was set and the survival games were about to begin. I'm not sure I will be back. It was just really convenient at the time because I was making deliveries to Mariposa across the street at night. And they were one of the few options that stayed open pretty late in the area.
Consistently good food. Keep it simple and youāll have the best carry out Chinese in Philly
Sang Kee Noodle House
My family and I went there on new year's eve dinner and we could walk in. There were several tables and the food were really food. The beef and broccoli was so good. Beef was soft. Everything else was so good too. Will definitely go back again.
We stopped by for dinner and were seated right away. The table and floor were somewhat sticky. We got the Crispy & Spicy Calamari Rings. While they were tasty, the panko bread crumbs were barely on the calamari and could have been fried a few seconds more. We got the Sweet & Sour Shrimp and the Taiwanese Spicy Beef Ramen with fried egg added on. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp came with pineapples and green peppers and a side of white rice. The Taiwanese Spicy Been Ramen was not spicy at all and had more of a soy sauce tasting broth than anything else. That dish was not very enjoyable. I have been here many times over the years and have always noticed their food is a bit bland.
