South Sichuan
Just tried this, highly recommend! We were excited to try the Dan Dan noodles and they did not disappoint, they have a nice lingering spice to them. Lo mein is one of my wife's favorite and this was the best she's had in awhile. I had never tried 3 cup chicken before but it's now one of my new favorites. Portions are a good size as well, we have plenty of leftovers
Found a GEM in south Philly! Authentic Sichuan flavor! We ordered Dan Dan noodle, dry pepper shrimp, chili oil dumplings and my favorite Sichuan cold dish - beef and tripe dish! All dishes taste so good and price is so reasonable! Definitely come back!
San Lok Chinese Restaurant
I have to assume the people giving this 5 stars had never eaten Chinese food before. One of the worst places I've ever eaten. Possibly the worst chinese food I've ever had in my life. Avoid this place. There's also a chance a crazy person will walk in and stab you so. Go literally anywhere else.
First they are overrated. Poor customer service!! Absolutely not the best Chinese food! No forks no napkins!!!!
Choy Yung Inn Restaurant
Really good food and good portions for a great price. Asked for my chicken extra spicy and it really is spicy. Highly recommend
From chicken wing platter with french fries general toast chicken with beef fried rice sesame chicken with white rice beef fried rice shrimp fried rice chicken and broccoli beef and broccoli popcorn chicken chicken on a stick cheesesteak rolls shrimp rolls watermelon & pineapples fruit
Lian Hsing Chinese
In my opinion it was nothing to write home about and I'm not racing to go back. The dishes I tried were a bit lacking in flavor and texture, but they weren't awful and it was a very large portion for the money. Very average neighborhood place for a cheap, quick bite of okay food. CASH ONLY
They use a call service to take phone orders. Don't tell you it's cash only and then want you to pay $4 to use the ATM. Hood joint doing something shady.
Super Kitchen
Delicious take out. The fried rice and Chicken Lo Mein lunch special is my go to. I don't enjoy the egg rolls, though. Super affordable and great service. They also have cheap candies and ice cream bars for sale. Highly recommend if you're craving a hot meal with a treat.
Great food and service. I go here all the time.
Super Star Chinese Take Out
I’ve been here 5 times and liked it every time. The sesame chicken and pepper beef are the best i’ve had. If you’re a regular and ask for extra meat you’ll probably get it. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch or dinner
Classic Chinese takeout. Food is delicious, servings are huge, and prices are cheap. Just found this place and will definitely keep coming back! I got the sesame chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce, loved every bite.
Michael’s Chinese Restaurant
Cash only for pickup but you can use credit if ordering online. Delivery is always super quick and hot. We get our order within 30 minutes, every time. Food is good, not gross and greasy. Great neighborhood fast Chinese food spot.
3 times I called and the lady that answered the phone could not understand English, it was going to be my first time trying this place , but I couldn't even place the order. I definitely will be crossing this place off my list .
Seng Thai Asian food
$6 double cheeburger, a 30 second walk from my house, a kind and patient owner, food hot, fresh ‘n ready quick. Hell yea
Ordered general tso chicken, chicken was overcooked and not meaty at all just crust and hard to chew. Also had cheese steak rolls... literally two small pieces of meat inside..it was mostly eggroll wrap & no flavor, never ordering for here again!
Great Wall Chinese Food
Ordered today, food is good and quick. The store inside of the store ain’t that bad, the cashier is respectful and quick with service. I ordered Pork Fried Rice w/ Chicken Wings and it came out hella good. Plus they’re hella cheap.
Great location, friendly employees, fast service, the prices are quite impressive. $10 for this Pepper Chicken and Spring Rolls, absolutely delicious.
New Canton Chinese & American Food
The food was fast, it was cheap, and it was pretty good. I'm not usually very enthusiastic about Americanized-style Chinese takeout, but I had a bite of some General Tso chicken that I had picked up for my husband, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Update: Second trip to New Canton. The General Tso wasn't quite as tasty as last time, so it appears that the consistency isn't 100%. Although the sauce was not as flavorful, the chicken was still cooked well, so all in all not bad. The house lomein gets a thumbs up as well. Even though the flavor wasn't quite as fabulous this time around, the cost vs. value for this place still makes it a solid choice for a quick bite in my book.
They literally gave me vegetable fried rice with no vegetables bc I asked for no onion, when they “fixed” it all they did was add chopped lettuce like what tf. There was no broccoli no carrots no peas nothing. Clearly scammed me out a couple extra dollars. And the shrimp in the rolls wasn’t cleaned.
