Beijing Chinese Restaurant
This was my first time trying this place and I was pleased. I ordered the shrimp lo mein and chicken wings. The wings were very flavorful; the lo mein was good and had plenty of shrimp. The food was made fresh and was still nice and hot when I got home. Staff was also friendly. It’s a cash only establishment, so keep that in mind. Overall, money well spent.
Ordered Beijing for Christmas night dinner. Really good! Got 3 General Tso platters, Chicken lo Mein & Wonton soup. Fed 4 adults for $50 … not bad. Everything was really good. Not saying it’s the best Chinese I’ve EVER had, but probably the best in NE Philly. Will definitely order again. BTW - cash only
Lien's Restaurant
Amazing, tasty food on big portions. We have been here several times. We loved the stuffed tofu with lobster sauce and the salt & pepper seafood mix. The sisters who owned this place also did the cooking and serving. They were super friendly. The place was not fancy but fine for enjoying food and your company. We will be going back to try different dishes from the menu.
We discovered this restaurant through a group of Vietnamese on Facebook. We’ve been coming to Ben City market for years but never really tried their food, until we ordered their chicken dishes. Must try for sure! The chicken was extremely tender and full of flavor. The Yellow Salted Chicken tasted even crunchier if you leave it in the fridge for a bit. Overall, food tasted awesome even after a 45 mins drive home!
金园
Only con to me was that they only take cash and don’t have an atm. Otherwise, the beef and broccoli was bomb (I requested they add garlic sauce) the fried chicken wings were classic and the sesame chicken was fried crispy which is my favorite way to have it. Overall it was solid.
The Chinese restaurant I visited was exceptional in every way. The food was flavorful and freshly prepared, with every dish bursting with authentic spices and perfectly cooked ingredients. The service was equally impressive, with the staff being attentive and quick to fulfill any requests, all while remaining friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with traditional décor that enhanced the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful experience from start to finish, making it a place I’d happily recommend.
China city Restaurants
the food is actually really good i’m not gonna lie. this is my 4th tim going and I FIND 2 PIECES OF HAIR IN MY FOOD ??? DISGUSTING IM NOT GOING BACK !!!
I order shrimp, fried rice and shrimps in the basket. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. It’s the best in the area is the best I ever had since I’ve been living here.
KRISPY FRY EXPRESS
Lovely family-run Asian establishment in the northeast. I came in for a burger, and got one of the best ones I've had in a while. Lot of meat, good flavor, came with a good amount of crispy fries and a drink with the combo. I recommend you stop by Krispy Fry Express if you're in the area, as I enjoyed this one more than a certain other spot nearby which was actually more skimpy with their portions at a higher price. And I just put the soda in the box for the photo, they put it on the side of course 😉👌
Food is great. Very fresh. Good prices Very good people. I got the salmon and shrimp combo. 🔥
Szechuan Gourmet 川味坊
Ever since the new Szechuan gourmet launched, everything’s leveled to an unbelievably authentic Szechuan food, highly appreciated by people coming from Szechuan. I personally visit this place regularly now, nothing that I ever ordered I would dislike. They are the only authentic Szechuan restaurant, I’m confident to say, among pretty much all eastern U.S. just simply looking at the way they process their ingredients and material, so descent! Now you feel no worry to order things like pork feet, pork kidney and liver, as they cleaned them quite nicely that you won’t smell or taste anything funny.
I was craving authentic Sichuan food that reminded me of my hometown, and this place came up as the closest option in my search. The photos looked amazing, so I decided to give it a try. Parking was a bit tight, but that’s understandable for Northeast Philly. I really enjoyed the dry pot fish I ordered. The glutinous rice cake was a pleasant surprise—I didn’t expect to find a dish from my childhood memories here. Both my husband and kids loved the food and are already asking to go back in the future.
King Wok
I had the Singapore rice noodle and hot and sour soup. Both were good. No surprises.
So I called ahead to place my order because I myself have never ordered from them but I’ve had their ribs, and they are AMAZING. So I was craving them and wanted to order some. I place my order and then I walk up to pick up and pay. I get there, hungry as hell, and they say cash only. Now it wouldn’t have been an issue if they had told me this over the phone when I said I was doing pickup. But I walked in the cold thinking I was about to eat right after and here I am hOme and hungry. PLEASE TAKE CARD OR APPLE PAY. I would’ve rated higher if I could actually get my food
Yaudim Dim Sum & Noodle
I grew up eating dim sum in LA and am used to the large Cantonese restaurants with carts pushed around, but was pleasantly surprised that the dim sum here is very good and authentic. The decor is modern and clean. You order at the counter and food is brought to you. You can sit wherever you want. It’s kid-friendly also. The stuffed eggplant had a nice crisp on the outside and good flavor. The custard bun had a nice runny filling that wasn’t too sweet. Even our baby niece enjoyed it! The rice noodles with XO sauce were more mild in flavor than expected but still delicious. The passion fruit tea was good and not too sweet. If you want more tea flavor, you could ask for less sweetness. Will try more items next time!
Good quality fast casual dim sum and ramen. Don’t miss the soup dumplings with a thin delicate wrapper. The chicken ramen broth was also very flavorful. I would definitely return and would suggest you do to. The man at the register also provided warm and welcoming service and the decor of the restaurant is cool, casual, and fresh.
King Wok Restaurant
Ive been twice so far and both dishes were good! Very fast service as well. I made my order when I arrived and didn't wait more than five minutes. The general tso I liked just wished chicken was fried a little crisper. I loved the Singapore mei fun so much. Also liked the fried rice and chicken wings. Its soo hard to find an actual good and tasty Chinese takeout spot in northeast, but I think this spot maybe the "one" Ill report back when I try more dishes
The food here is excellent for quick Chinese takeout! Best soups & egg rolls! They made good the next day on an order of spilled soup & replenished my entire order at no charge! Very nice business people here! This is my new "GO TO STOP" from now on! GREAT SERVICE!
Kin Wha Garden
This is my absolute favorite place to eat chinese food when I come home. Its just a tiny unassuming place in a shopping mall. Their Chinese Pizza (scallion pancakes) and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is incredible! Their vegetables are so fresh. The delivery is always fast. The portions and prices are great. And they are lovely people. My parents have ordered from here for decades.
Absolute best Chinese place in the northeast. Food is always amazing. We are never disappointed, no matter what we order. 10/10.
Taste King
It says they have sushi on Saturday but when we came they had no sushi that day. They had complimentary chips with sweet sauce and spicy mustard sauce. And also we got three complimentary balls if ice cream which were delicious. We ordered spring rolls which appeared more like egg rolls and had no meat inside. Broccoli and beef were average. Broccoli is a bit hard, meat chewy but it’s common in Asian restaurants. Sauce and rice was good though. Service was horrible. They didn’t offer more soda, when I finished. Rarely came to the table despite the fact we were only guests there. I don’t think we ever come to eat there again.
Well I saw a high rating and thought why not. Well I got take out. I ordered simple egg drop soup, which was ok but bland. Egg rolls were bland too, even sauces didn’t help. One of the rolls weren’t cook fully despite looking fried well. Unfortunately this experience made me not want to go back. Nor do I want to deal with refund.
No. 1 China
This place used to be good. The egg rolls I ordered today were definitely reheated in a microwave or airfryer. They were extremely chewy and both ends of the egg rolls were hard as a rock. The soup was just ok and the Generals chicken was really spicy. Big disappointment today.
Last night I ordered the Hot Pepper Chicken, it has jalapeño, red chili etc. It was the best chicken dish I have ever had. The chicken was truly delicious, and the perfect texture, the sauce was was spicy, but I tasted a touch of sugar, it was nicely balanced.
