Ho's Chinese Restaurant
November 2020. Craving Chinese take out. Called in advance. Picked up in 15mins. Cash only. $12.40 for Pork Lo Mein and General Two’s chicken. Both small orders. Food is hot and tasty and will last me two days.
I don’t know why Ho’s doesn’t have 5stars! They are a mom and pop owned and operated Chinese food restaurant. Everything on their order is cooked fresh and it is very tasty. I ordered boneless spare ribs and sesame chicken! Both were amazing!!!! 10/10 will be back again, and would recommend to a friend. Fairly priced, fresh, delicious and tasty.
Bing Bing Dim Sum
We came for the soup dumplings, which we try in every single city. Not the most soupy. However, spinach dumplings were badass!! Also the carrots with tahini. Had a very nice dinner overall.
Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious! Great place for dim sum and everything else too, like cocktails and other dishes like cucumbers.
Chang San
This place does not look like the food I received. THIS FOOD WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!!! Shrimp was cleaned out fresh and nice size. THERE WAS VEGETABLES IN MY SHRIMP IN GARLIC SAUCE. THE LADY AT TJE WINDOW WAS VERY NICE. SO SWEET AND VERY FRIENDLY. WILL BE GOING BACK THERE!!!!!!!!!! 10/10
Always fresh, crispy chicken wings!!!! My favorite chinese restaurant in south philadelphia. The woman behind the counter is always so polite to me (she always gives me chopsticks when i ask). Keep up the good work!!! this Chinese store is a prime example of, you can’t judge a book by its cover because from the outside you wouldn’t think the food would be so great but when you receive your first order, you’re gonna know they know how to complete the assignment
A Lin Kitchen
I finally got to check this place out, and not only did it live up to the hype, it far exceeded my expectations. I got sesame chicken with beef fried rice, 2 spring rolls, and a pork roll. The spring rolls and pork roll were absolutely delicious. The sesame chicken was phenomenal, especially with the beef fried rice. If you're in the area and craving high quality Chinese takeout that doesn't disappoint, then this is the place for you.
The food at this restaurant is consistently solid, and I've noticed that some dishes are significantly better than others, which is common in many restaurants, I guess. My favorites include the General Tso's Chicken (pictured), ribs, and fried chicken, and the rice always tastes fresh. However, I wasn't as impressed with the beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli dishes. On another note, I've observed significant improvement in the cashier's attitude since I started coming to this restaurant a year ago. Initially, when I moved to the area, she was very short and stand-offish. Now, she has become more polite and uses common courtesy like saying please and thank you. It's evident that she has grown in her role. Although she still maintains a serious demeanor, she's much more pleasant now.
