Serve dry skinless chicken breast as “general Tso” …please don’t waste your money here. Also I got charged for pork fried rice and there is absolutely NO pork or vegetables in my rice.

Always average, food overcooked a lot of times, never has chopsticks 🥢 photos of bother me and my wife’s egg rolls. Food has a very chemical taste.

Im dry heaving as i type .. i don’t know what that black thing is, could be a mushroom looks disgusting dont want to find out.. but THE SHRIMP??? me personally i dont like shrimp doodoo.

I ordered from Maple Star with high expectations. I should have made a “wish upon a star”, prior to ordering. My order of chicken Pad Thai, Roasted Pork Mei Fun, and Chicken Mei Fun was vis service from DoorDash. Let’s start with a first, and the worst. The Chicken Pad Thai had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER. I don’t know what the liquid used was- it could’ve been water. It was so bland, and tasteless, Maple Star officially served the worst Pad Thai I have ever tasted. Thus, there was only one conclusion- toss it down the garbage disposal. The Roasted Pork Mei Fun and Chicken Mei Fun were average. IN COMPARISON to Maple Star’s Pad Thai, they were superior. However, though the quantity of food you receive from Maple Star is on par with other Chinese restaurants, Thai restaurants, or any Asian cuisine, the quality is AVERAGE. Even setting your expectations low for Pad Thai without the use of MSG won’t save that dish. Maple Star, the food was very disappointing, and the most unidentifiable star anyone could see on a cloudy night.

For anyone with food allergies, there’s a reliable Chinese restaurant that I HUGELY urge you to order from, CHINA HOUSE. Their menu is detailed for dietary restrictions, and food allergies for orders to go, as well as delivery. Moreover, the menu provides an additional place to insert any dietary restrictions, but they take the extra step, and pay attention to detail by marking the containers with the dietary restrictions. BRAVO! It’s about time that I found a restaurant that pays attention to the service they provide, and understands the severity of food allergies. This order from China House, after numerous horrible experiences at OTHER restaurants, is a relief! This wonderful restaurant offers fresh food at prices that can’t be beat. Whoever owns the restaurant and manages it is incredibly smart, and isn’t myopic. The prices are 50% less, on average, many menu items than most other comparable restaurants that choose to be ignorant to food, allergies, and dietary restrictions. The entrees ordered all were delicious. More importantly, all were gluten-free, no MSG, and hours later I’m writing this review, without being sick. CHINA HOUSE GETS IT. The Chicken Mei Fun, and Pork Mei Fun dishes are both excellent. With the rice noodles, and meat (or all vegetables if an option), and assorted shredded vegetables, each dish was fulfilling in quality, and portion size. I’m thoroughly impressed. CHINA HOUSE HAS AN ADVOCATE IN THIS YELP ELITE REVIEWER!

Called to come back to the store to get a refund on my meal because there was a fly in it. They said their policy wasn’t to give refunds and only to replace the food. I will never buy anything from them again. And unless you like insects in your food, don’t come here. Go to maple star instead.
