I went there during lunch time, the beef fried rice was very good and the highlight of my trip. I also had the chicken teriyaki which was a little overcooked on the outside but was moist and tender on the inside but didn't really have any flavor. The spare ribs were horrible they were extremely hard and tasted like they had been cooked two or three days ago.

When I say New China is my GO TO Chinese hookup in Powhatan! I’m not kidding when I say I have burnt out my boyfriend from Chinese food cuz I eat here at least once, if not, twice a week. Service is always fast & friendly! I LOOOVE their cheesesteak egg rolls (5 for $10 not bad at all!) & I always get the Happy Family dish 😋

Like everybody their prices are creeping up while serving smaller portions. The shrimp rolls were filled with 2 shrimps and a bunch of air! I feel cheated. I won’t be back.

My first time at this restaurant. The food was good. They gave me a lot of food. Behind the counter was so clean. I will definitely be back!
