First visit and most likely will return. This place is in a shopping center so quite convenient for parking. The atmosphere was pleasant with koi swimming in a tank and comfortable seating. Service was friendly and timed well. Everything we ate was good. Our visit was during the winter holiday season and after paying our bill we were gifted with an individual tea thermos. Very nice surprise Price for two, with two appetizers and one entree each was reasonable at just under 50.

The food is excellent, always fresh, you can always tell just by the simplest the wonton soup. Wonton soup so good and the ingredients in all their dishes you can just tell it's so much fresher! Plus they always give me a little something extra in our takeout bag. Just the small things that make you want to go back.

Good authentic chinese. Best I’ve had in a while. Everything was so smooth from ordering at a kiosk which the full menu and pictures and you can do any modifications or you can order in person. Food was made fresh and very hot I’m glad we stopped by today. Stop in if you are looking for good Chinese. I live in Raleigh but it was definitely worth the drive. And the packaging was impeccable. 4.3 stars does not do this place justice. They need the 5 stars from my experience today. I had the king pow chicken

Not from the area, so totally jealous of you locals!! This place has some amazing food. Everything was made to order, FRESH!! Piping Hot...delicious!! Ive had really bad chinese food and really good chinese food, THIS IS TOWARD THE TOP FOR SURE. I think from when we ordered to when she handled me a reusable custom large order carrying bag...it was only like 15-20 mins. They do have a small dining area thats super clean if u want to eat in or they package everything up really nice for take out. Again, LOCALS...take advantage of this place....Its so good! 👍🏽 Keep up the good job!

Pretty good for take out considering most Chinese foods taste better when eaten fresh at the restaurant. The spicy beef and tendon had great flavor, however the portion is smaller than other places I have tried around the area for the same price. The pork intestine was flavorful, but it has too much vegetable and not enough intestine. The beef hot pot was delicious, my favorite out of the 3 things I got.

Very, Very consistent quality Chinese food in North Carolina. Fair priced. As an international student from China, Taipei Cafe has became my second dining room in Raleigh. It has the MOST FAIR PRICED Peking Duck, as well as other dishes. I have not had a single dish that is disappointing unlike many other restaurants. Usually Chinese restaurants have their chief coming from a certain part of China which they cannot make good food of other part of China, but Taipei Cafe sticked to what they are good at! If you enjoy real Chinese food, come here. It is the best in Raleigh. It will not break your bank either

Wanted to try chinese food in the area and found this location on Google. Called our order in via phone for the honey chicken with shrimp rice and a large Four Seasons. Was disappointed with flavor and quality. The chicken tasted tough and dry. You can tell it was battered and fried, but lacked seasoning. It tasted like they just poured honey on top after frying. The rice lacked flavor as well and didn't taste fried - it tasted more like white steamed rice with soy sauce and wasn't mixed well. The Four Seasons looked good, but fell flat on quality. Tough chicken and veggies. There was also an odor in the restaurant that transferred onto the plastic and brown paper bags our order was packed in, which also transferred into our car. We tried it once, cannot recommend ;(

I was craving for Chinese fried rice. I ordered takeout the Large Yangzhou Fried Rice for $14.29 that’s supposed to have egg, pork, chicken shrimp. What I got was fried rice with scrapes of pork and eggs, and two pieces of shrimp, no chicken . I understand the grocery prices are high but so is the price for takeout.

I wanted to find a Chinese "restaurant" with table service and Google took me here. It's a small dining area and a very gracious host. They also offer carry-out service, as was occurring during our meal. The host was attentive and our wait was short. The portion sizes were huge. I ordered the Orange chicken (which was surprisingly very red when delivered). Great taste, mild spice. Chicken was crispy with a soft center. Same for the Sweet n Sour chicken we ordered - only it came with one sweet sauce, which was not enough to cover all the chicken. These two dishes were more than enough for the two of us. Fair prices and lots of dishes to choose from, including Thai. There's a kid menu, but the two dishes were enough to share.

First time customer, ordered online for pick up. Very good food! I ordered all Thai - green curry, drunken noodles, and garlic stir fry. Rice was a little dry and stale, but otherwise very pleased with price, portion, and taste!

Acacia serves authentic north eastern Chinese cuisine. Having sampled dishes from China and NYC, the food served here comparably authentic. I enjoyed the appetizers including the cold noodles and the tripe in chili oil. For entrees I enjoyed the lamb and cilantro and eggplant with salted fish. If you’re looking for authentic northeastern Chinese cuisine, I would recommend dining at this restaurant. The popcorn chicken is child-friendly dish.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Raleigh. They offer a great mix of American Chinese classics like orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken, as well as authentic dishes you’d find at a sit-down dinner in China. The cozy atmosphere makes it ideal for a family dinner. We got the orange chicken, eggplant with basil, Spicy pork short ribs, hot tea and rice; the bill came out to be $70. Highly recommend!

Was looking for ribs and duck, read the reviews and this seemed like a good place to go to. We drove 25 mins each way. Friendly staff, got our order, went home 25 mins. I ate the roast pork lion which looked like chicken? I think I had food poisoning. My husband had the crispy duck and he was fine. I'm upset I spent $38 on food that I threw away. I only ate a little bit and threw the rest away. So question.... if this is the best yall had..where are you eating at? 😆 I live in Raleigh so I'll stick to the pop ups there ✌️

First time & probably last. Not worth the rush or traffic to take almost 40 min to go and come back when my job is only 2 miles away. Location is hard to get in and out during fish traffic. The menu prices are high. It was nice they called to tell me it would be 2$ extra for "extra egg." They put 1 fried egg on top of my side (pint) of fried rice. The fried rice did not have any egg, onion, peas, or carrots in it all. So they gave me plain fried rice under the 1 fried egg I paid for. Bland no flavor. The rice looked like it already had soy sauce on it because it was that color, and not what fried rice usually looks like. They did not even include any soy or duck, nor did they ask. Why was the rice so dark for PLAIN fried rice. The fried dumplings were just okay, but half of them were steamed and grocery store size. I could not imagine paying 16$ for an entree at this quality. Food really wasn't good. Not worth $13.

It’s our wedding anniversary and my husband surprise me with upscale white table cloth lunch date at G-58, it’s quiet afternoon but I love the atmosphere, the place is bright and the decor is beautiful, Gabe our server taking care us and help us to my inquiry regards to the dish I wanted to try which is highly appreciated. My Mango mocktail was refreshing, we oder appetizer like spring roll duck and pan seared dumpling both cooked perfectly, our main dish is citrus chicken and twice cooked pork they both suits to our taste. If you like some sweet but not too sweet chicken and tenderly flavored pork. A dessert comes with candle which surprise me it’s pretty and good.

We went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Travis was our server and he made our experience great! He offered great insight on the dishes and helped us pick out amazing items for our dinner. We had the calamari, garlic fish dish, and a few delicious desserts. It was such a great meal and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. Loved having a delicious pot of tea with our meal as well. You can’t go wrong here! We will be back with friends.

Tried Peng's for the first time and I will absolutely be going back to slowly eat my way through almost everything on the menu. Everything we ordered was wonderful, especially the Mapo tofu which was one of the best renditions of the dish that I've had. Additionally, our awesome waitress remembered us from 9 years previous from a visit to Golden Palace on Capital Blvd (where she and the chef at Peng's worked at the time).

We had the pleasure of dining in! We tried the crab rangoons and egg rolls, as well as the general tsao chicken and broccoli & beef! The appetizers were a little cooler in the middle but still really yummy! Crispy shells with great fillings! The meals were the star of the show! Fried rice pretty good but the chicken and beef were so flavorful and moist, and tasted amazing!! The sweetest couple running everything do a fantastic job, as does the chef!

You might ask - why a 5 star rating for 3 star food? Because NY Pizzeria in Morrisville NY is a classic college town pizzeria where literally thousands of hungry students have gone for a slice after partying all night, including myself back in the day. The place hasn't changed at all after 35 years. I even met the owner who has been there all that time. It's cheap thin crust pizza with an excellent flavor cooked in a 50 year old oven. It's delicious, to me, but probably average tasting for most people.

Stumbled across this place, when we stopped for gas across the street. Dont let the look turn you away. The pizza was delicious and worth it! I would say some of the pricing is off on their menue, but still plan to take my hubby there too.

This place had a sweet spot for about a year. Food had a good Smokey flavor from a wok, chicken teriyaki sticks great. But today it was packet white rice and packet brown rice, trying to pass for fried rice. Garlic chicken was no garlic too much vinegar. The Lo mein had zero Smokey flavor, tasted like boiled noodles, no oil and wok. Sorry but I won’t waste my money here for sub par ingredients and effort. I blew nearly 60$ tonight, never again.

horrible. I don't even understand how this is a business. fried chicken taste like curry and is overly cooked. the fried over breading is just way too much.. can't even really enjoy the chicken itself. lo mein smelt and tasted like new ports. I feel bad because the worker is nice. Need better tasting food

Peking House 0

I'm addicted to their crab Rangoon. The owner knows my voice and order. Crab Rangoon no sauce. They are so good they don't need it! When I have friends come visit they always ask for these! Their mix wonton/egg drop soup is really good too but the Rangoon are the stars at this spot! This is a take out only spot. There is no where to sit to eat.

Recently relocated to the area from Houston and was worried about the Chinese food here. Love Peking House for the basics that I always order. Hot and sour soup is amazing, shrimp in garlic sauce, crab rangoons, etc. this is our regular spot hands down.
