East Gourmet Buffet
Cheap and great for the whole family. Food quality was great too and all the staff are friendly
East Gourmet Buffet is a solid choice for a buffet experience. There are plenty of seats, yet the lines show just how popular this place is. The food rotation is constant, and the staff does a great job checking and replenishing the dishes. While the menu feels a bit limited (in my opinion, but many argue otherwise) —with a soup stand, four stands of general food, a sushi bar, and a dessert station—it’s well-prepared and fresh. The friendly and attentive staff make the experience even better.
Spice Route Indian Cuisine
Came here while visiting a local friend. I was amazed with the ambiance of the place. I asked to be seated near the newer renovated area and was kindly given permission to. My attendance as during a weekday around 12/1pm and the workers present were limited. Regardless, we were served promptly and were provided clarification when we asked questions. The food options were limited for the lunch special however the main entrees were all available. When the food arrived at the table we were shocked at the portion size. Having been to many Indian restaurants, this restaurant offers smaller portion sizes. In addition to smaller portion sizes some the meat dishes were not as tender as other restaurants I’ve been to. Spice route Indian Cuisine offers customers a nice ambiance and clean environment go enjoy Indian food, but should consider larger portion sizes and more tenderization of the meat ( particularly the lamb ).
Some of the dishes are excellent and exceptionally good. For e.g. Panner Achari was just amazing. Manchow soup and sweetcorn soup were just awesome! Malai kofta was comparable to taste but not the best. Breads were alright. Daal tadla was average, but Makhani was better. Deserts were good. Service is excellent. Prices are definitely on the higher side. We were 8 of us, and Bill ran up to about $30+ average per person.
Frank's Pizza of Bartonsville
Excellent Pizza and Outstanding Service! I recently visited Frank’s Pizza, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Especially for me the Pizza. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a family dinner or a casual meal with friends. Plenty of parking space. If you’re looking for a place with great food and excellent service, I highly recommend Frank’s Pizza. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! So will you. One trip, and it’s a done deal. Be blessed my friend.
The chicken franchise was soggy and it tasted like the pasta underneath. It tasted like old boiled pasta with old cheese. The shrimp scampi was OK. There was too much liquid in the container and all i tasted was a garlic bread taste. I’m Puerto Rican and my chicken franchise and shrimp scampi is better than this. The so called garlic bread didn’t have no garlic taste to it, but it sure did have red sauce spread all in the inside too over with melted butter. I never seen this before which makes me question. Was this really garlic bread? Was it cooked for my dish or did it come from another dish with some type of red sauce? The lid on the aluminum tray was broken therefore, this can easily lead to a spillage which it did spill all over inside the bag. I am not a picky eater but this was horrible food.
Red Lobster
I travel frequently for work and don't often eat at chain restaurants. There are limited options in Stroudsburg however and I'm pleased to report that the food and service here were exceptional in both of my visits this week. The first time, I walked in late after traveling in from Newark and they didn't bat an eye that I was the only person in the restaurant when I walked in 30 minutes prior to closing. The mahi and vegetables were tasty and fresh and service friendly. Tonight I had the lobster tail duo with asparagus and green bean and it was also real tasty. I definitely recommend eating here
We’ve eaten seafood at this location many times and it has always been a great experience. Our most recent visit was 3/19/24 during the afternoon; we had a really nice lunch. Sarah took excellent care of us at our table, checking in occasional to make sure we had everything we needed. The portions were very good, and delicious… ( we took a lot of food home ) as we couldn’t finish it all!
Phu Thai 611 Thai Cuisine
It was unbelievably good 👍 must try after spending a day or two at Great Wolf 🐺 Lodge. The best Thai ever had so fresh and the portions were very generous. We loved the crab fried rice. Calamari was crunchy and only remembered to take a picture half way down. But the pad Thai was a bit too sweet for me.
Best Thai food I've had in the area. High quality food, small family business, great service. The reviews are legit (with 4.8 overall ... so I had to see for myself. I give it a 5.0.) We ordered the Basil Udon and the Jungle Curry. Wow, the Basil Udon was one of the best dishes I've had - So flavorful and high quality ingredients. The Jungle curry was the best curry I've eaten in the area. The owners really care about catering to our needs making small adjustments when needed for out dietary requirements. We also got the Green Thai Tea which was excellent.
