Great food at affordable prices. Friendly service - local place. I am a ketchup fiend.

We went in for dinner pity late. We asked for a table in the back , but it was not offered even though it was pity empty. Service was super fast though. Shrimp basil fried rice was the best. We also liked the Fish platter. White rice bowl was plenty too. Overall great quality food. Must try if you are around princeton area.

Good food and service and reasonable prices. It can get a little crowded during the weekend. The portion sizes are pretty big

A great place for dinner out, in a quiet and relaxing location. The service is outstanding: quick, attentive, and friendly. All of the food that we ordered was both fresh and well prepared- you can even watch your sushi being prepared. Would definitely recommend the Philadelphia Roll or the Dynamite Roll. The Scallion Pancakes were also divine.

Love happy wok! Always great and fresh food. Has good flavor. Also the customer service is outstanding! Whether i’m ordering online for delivery, or especially when picking up, the people always greet me with a smile and are very welcoming!! My go to place for quick nearby delicious sushi and food!❤️

Run down, mis matched furniture, handwritten specials on wall...paid over $5 for pint of tasteless hot and sour, and $10 for 4, what appeared to be half eaten, chicken on a stick that were so dry and overcooked they were unedible, as were the cardboard noodles that came with the soup. Extremely maddening waste of money, these places take business for granted.

We got our usual generals spicy chicken, vegetable lo mein, & crab rangoon - it was the most fresh and delicious order we have received to date. I’ve been going to them for many years. She left it in good hands and they clearly are taking customer feedback seriously as it has improved over the last couple months

Amazing noodles and rice bowls. So far, has stir fried udon, curried chicken noodles, and pork belly bowl. Enjoying is top notch. Also like the laid back atmosphere. This is a hidden gem.

A great place for food even though so many come here for bubble tea. Their udon noodles and Thai noodles are really good. Nice dining area in the back. Good friendly service. We are regulars here.

Good food. Very friendly owner. Ordered the jjamppong. Pretty good but didn’t have that spicy kick even though I ordered spicy. Different noodles from what I’m used to. It was more of a thin udon style noodle, but still good. Tangsuyuk was good. Wife ordered the dolsot bibimbap and she said it was good. Son ordered the curry chicken - he said it was ok. Will come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Been here twice now. I had mulnangmyun last time (i think) but cannot remember taste. Couldnt remember anything bad. Kalbitang was as korean as it could get. Meat comes bone-in. Scissor is provided if you do not want to chew while holding bone. You get couple option if you dont want rice; udon noodle and pho noodle. Banchan selection is fairly limited, but expected considering price range and quality of main dish. Definitely one of the best korean restraurant on a budget. You know it's getting serious when there's old korean lady being chef of restraurant (probably owner too). Do note the restraurant is self-serve. You pick up food and return trays before leaving. Tip is not required nor expected.

This is my go-to in the area for sushi. Today I deviated from my regular order and decided to try some new items. The rolls are: salmon/avocado/cucumber and the other is tuna/yellowtail. I try to be a little healthier and ordered with brown rice. They were good but not my favorite. Not their fault. I ordered them. I do love the seafood soup - comes with 1 shrimp, 1 scallop, crab and vegetables/cabbage in a simple broth. Also decided to give the chicken with broccoli in white sauce a try. It was good. Next time I stick to my usual though.

Portion sizes are very inconsistent. We order 3 servings of the Crispy Red snapper at $25 each, among other things. The portion sizes were all over the place. One serving had a piece of fish not much bigger than a golf ball. I tried to address it with server, he said he would speak to the chef. I did not see him again until we were done eating. I asked him if he spoke to the chef. He said "he does not speak English."

This is a self-service restaurant, order at the counter, pour yourself a cup of iced water, put the order number on your table. They will bring the food to your table, and they will clean up after you. Tip is optional and appreciate it. Food were good, staffs were friendly. Comfortable dining area. We like it.

Food is wonderful. The service is good and the price is excellent for the high quality of food you receive.

Reasonably priced simple authentic meals. I love this place, been eating here for years. Very cheap compared to the rest of Princeton; though be prepared to take out if squeezing between strangers at a bar against the wall doesn't appeal to you. They/he/she can only make a subset of the things on the menu at any given point in time, but those dishes are getting all their attention and are delicious.

It was okay. Price was reasonable. 20 minutes to prepare. I ended up getting something different to what I ordered (only noticed when I got home) and there was more than one piece of hair in the rice and beans.

The menu is widely spread, food is good, what did not tick for me was the service. Felt it was a bit sluggish and slow. Also the way the staff interacted was not polite. Food they serve is fresh, yummy and tastes great. I will definitely try the place again.

I recently visited Roots in Princeton upon a recommendation from a friend, and we both went for dinner. We arrived around 7 pm, and though the restaurant was moderately busy, there was plenty of seating available. We were seated comfortably at a table for four. The ambiance was decent, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a casual dinner with a friend. It doesn’t scream luxury, but it’s inviting and comfortable. For drinks, I was about to order a Coke when my friend suggested trying their fresh juices. I opted for the fresh carrot, celery, and ginger juice, while my friend went for the pineapple, green apple, and ginger juice. Both juices were incredibly fresh, cold, and delicious—a refreshing start to the meal! The menu had a variety of unique options, and while I was figuring out what to order, my friend, who had been there before, suggested a couple of dishes. We chose the Thai Basil dish, stir-fried with vegetables and rice, seasoned perfectly with basil and spices. The second dish was Lo Mein, a stir-fried noodle dish with vegetables. Both dishes were superb, and we shared them between us. The flavors complemented each other well, and the food was truly outstanding. One of the highlights of the evening was the incredibly friendly and attentive service. Our waitress noticed we ordered vegetarian dishes and thoughtfully asked if it was okay to use fish oil for the stir-fry. We were really impressed by her attention to detail and appreciated her asking, to which we replied no. After dinner, we stayed for quite a long time, chatting and catching up. There was another group dining a little further away, and at one point, we asked what time they closed. To our surprise, we were told they had already closed! The staff had been so polite and considerate, never rushing us or making us feel like we needed to leave. It wasn’t until we noticed the waiters and waitresses having their own dinner at a table that we realized how late it was. We left after finishing our long chat, feeling very welcome and appreciative of the friendly and polite staff. Overall, it was an awesome dining experience. The food was flavorful and fresh, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend Roots if you're in Princeton and looking for a place with delicious Asian-inspired cuisine and exceptional service!

A must stop dumpling shop for anyone in the area. Lovely atmosphere serving incredible food with a warm smile. And for the price, it's unbeatable !

So I just had a quick lunch here, and it was delicious. I got some dumplings and buns and it all very flavorful. The wrappers were amazing and tasted very fresh with a good bounce. The dipping sauce and chili oil really added to it. Also got a boba tea and asked for less sugar and it was the perfect sweetness. I usually think a lot of boba teas are cloyingly sweet, but this one was great. Highly recommended if you're in the mall.

Popped in because our first choice was full. Came in on a busy Friday evening. Place was busy but we were seated in about 15 min. Staff is polite and atmosphere was nice and restaurant is clean and well decorated. Food lacks some spice but pretty good but not outstanding. It’s BYOB so don’t forget your favorite wine.
