Chopsticks Express
Food cooked fresh in front of you. Friendly staff. Shrimp egg roll was perfect with shrimp through out. Highly recommend
Surprisingly tasty for food court Chinese. The dumplings were the perfect texture, steamed and then pan fried. Bit more expensive than the usual mall Chinese but worth it for the quality
Tai Pei Chinese Restaurant
This is a food court that is attached to a supermarket. Came over on a Friday night. Not much option left in terms of entrees. Nothing on the menu was available just whatever was on display which was a lot of meat and rice, no veggies. The meat was pretty dry and tough. Prepackaged sushi was at a reasonable price. There was so much cheese in my rolls (very creamy rolls)! There is a small seating area if you need to sit down and eat. Plenty of free parking when we were there.
I love coming here and getting sushi when it is freshly made. It doesn't seem to make it out of the parking lot without me having devoured some of the sushi. The sushi chef at the cutting board is always smiling when I see him. I appreciate the food he makes
Li's Buffet
I will start with saying that I absolutely love Chinese buffets and have pretty low standards whenever I go to one. But this was just plain sad. I came here an hour and a half before closing thinking that they would still have some hot fresh food. I was very wrong. They stopped bringing out food who knows when and it was all sad. Nothing tasted spectacular. The onky thing i was impressed by was the boneless spare ribs. Staff was the best part of being here and they were just okay.
I have absolutely no idea where any negative reviews come from. I certainly did not experience anything negative here. I live locally and have driven by hundreds of times, but I have never stopped here. Today I chose to come, and I have no regrets. A very simple and peaceful place. I'll pass up one of those extravagant places for Li's everytime now. The food was excellent; the service was so pleasant and kind; and even the boss came by the table to ask if all was good. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, this was nothing but an excellent experience. I will definitely be coming back!!!! Thank you, Li's!
Chinatown Kitchen
I have found very friendly and helpful service. The food is incredible. Best Chinese food in town. There are many different dishes from which to choose. I'm telling everyone I know. Prices are very reasonable. I love the won ton soup when I'm under the weather it's so soothing. Please try it you will enjoy.
Nice little place in town. It's small inside so there isn't room for more then 2 it 3 people to sit and eat. We get take out every so many month. Food is always good. Parking can be iffy, especially during tourist season. All in all, friendly employees, and great food!
Hong Kong Restaurant
Strictly a take out joint. I initially reviewed the wrong place (and deleted the review, but just in case). This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Gettysburg. The food is consistently good, simple, and fresh. I particularly enjoy their fried rice and chicken wings. When I am waiting on my order, I can see the cooks busting their butts and working the woks like pros.
Ordered take out & it did not disappoint. This food is simply delicious. It is packaged exceptionally well & I look forward to returning. The lady that took my order was very kind and sweet. There is an up charge if you use a card so bring cash if you can. This is a hidden Gettysburg gem 💎
